Human, Centoraurian

« on: September 02, 2007, 10:35:00 AM »

Name: Orynth Nomif
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Race: Human
Tribe: Centoraurian
Title: Traveling Worker
Occupation: Whatever work he can find; he has worked as a farmer, stable hand, and a waiter.

Appearance
Height:1 Ped, 2 Fores, 1 Palmspan
Weight: 1 Pygge, 5 Hebs, 1 Hafeb, 3 Ods, 1 Mut.
Eye Color: Blue
Hair Color: Dark Brown

Physical Appearance: Orynth has nothing to make him stand out and can blend into a crowd well. His deep blue eyes don't stand out very much neither does his perfectly sized nose. His light pink lips are usually set into a smile or into a thin line when working. His dark brown hair is cut short to keep it out of his eyes and he has no facial hair. He is neither overweight nor very slim just a medium between the two. His arms show little muscle but he can lift heavy things with little amount of struggle. If he sprints he can get to other places quickly and his stamina can last for a short while and then he must slow down to a jog or almost running.

Clothing: Orynth has 2 sets of clothes; one for colder weather and one for warmer weather. The warm set is a pair of loose fitting dark green trousers and a slightly lighter green shirt. The colder set is a pair of dark blue trousers, a light blue shirt, and a dark blue cloak.

Personality: Orynth is a humorous person and jokes around quite a bit. He continually works toward his goal, whatever it may be. All the while making jokes and smiling a lot. He treats everyone with respect and tries to be friendly at all times. When he is angry he usually just holds the anger inside and waits for an opportunity to let it all go. This helps him if he needs to defend himself.

Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths
-Makes Friends Easily; He makes a friend wherever he is so that he has someone to talk to and it helps odds in a fight.
-Skilled; Orynth is skilled in many ways, and if he has no knowledge on what needs to be done he learns quickly. He has picked up things on waiting farming and taking care of animals during his travels.
-Never Quits; No matter how hard the job is Versk never stops until the task is complete.
-Can use the dagger; He can protect himself with his twin daggers and has learned to take advantage of others mistakes.

Weaknesses
-Trusting; Orynth trusts everyone until they are proven not worthy of his trust. Until he finds a reason not to believe the person is not trustworthy he will do anything he would do for a friend. This can put him in dangerous situations.
-Holds Anger In; Whenever he becomes mad he holds in this anger and stores it away. This can be good and bad, if he stores up to much anger he might let out that anger at the wrong time and this could lead to fights and other such things.

History: Orynth was born in the city of Milkengrad, an only child. His mother's name was Helen, and his father's name James. His father worked at a tavern and kept food on the table for his family, and what little money was left over was saved or spent on necessities. They owned one horse named Molly that James rode to work everyday. Orynth grew up as a normal child would and as soon as he could he started to make money for his family.

At the age of 9 he began running errands for his neighbors for a few Sans. At the age of 13 he began searching for a better job. The tavern his father worked at had a stable and the current stableman was about to quit. Orynth took this job and got paid little, but he got many tips from the people and he ended up making a decent amount of money this way. Everything was going fine, when his mother became ill.

His mother developed a mild case of Strangling Disease which didn't affect her to much she spent the day inside making blankets and clothing for her husband and son. But suddenly it became worse and she developed the Chokes.” While the rest of the family was working she suffocated to death.

At the age of 17 he became a waiter at the tavern, like his father. He liked this job and continued to do it until his father died of natural causes. Stricken with grief he stayed at home for a long time. Once the money his father and he had saved was depleted he decided to travel around working where he could. Orynth found a pair of his fathers clothes though they were a little big they fit him well enough, the two pairs he carries with him to this day. When he found these he also found a pair of daggers under the clothes. Taking whatever he could with him he left with the horse Molly.

He traveled around just as planned, working where he could when he could. When he was 20, he came across a farm and decided to seek work there. It was owned by an older man and his son, the man being about his father's age before he died and the boy a few years younger than Orynth. The man accepted his offer to work and that is what Versk did. The work was hard; he woke up at the crack of dawn and didn't relax much until it was beginning to get dark. The man treated him like another son and taught him how to use the daggers he had found. When winter came Orynth decided it was time to go and he bid farewell to his friends. Orynth rode away tears attempting to leave his eyes.

Orynth continued traveling and working at taverns and farms all the way along. He has been traveling for a while and as you read this he has a pouch of money that is almost empty.

Belongings: A pack that he carries his other set of clothing in, along with some dried food. Attached to his pack is a water skin. And attached at his belt is a small pouch of money.

Weapons: A pair of daggers with dark green handles. A tiny blue gem is at the very bottom of the hilt on each dagger. He can protect himself with these daggers.

Familiar: His Rusik horse Molly is his constant companion during his travels. He makes sure that she is well fed and watered sometimes leaving little money left for him but he always manages to find enough food. She has dark red hair with a black mane. His father had it a few years before Orynth was born. His father got it slightly under the regular price because it would try to kick everyone in the same area as her. When James bought it and was bringing it home it would try to kick him but James stood in front of the horse and held the head straight. Molly couldn't turn around to kick him and could do nothing but walk. This somehow got Molly to behave better and now she is very tame.

We discourage against the use of decimals, as we try to keep this as "historically" accurate as possible.

Red.

Name: Versk Nomif

Appearance
Height:1 Ped, 2 Fores, 1 Palmspan
Weight: 1 Pygge, 5 Hebs, 1 Hafeb, 3 Ods, 1 Mut.
Eye Color: Blue
Hair Color: Dark Brown

Physical Appearance: Versk has 2 sets of clothes; one for colder weather and one for warmer weather. The warm set is a pair of loose fitting dark green trousers and a slightly light green shirt.(Physical appearance here, not clothing.)

Clothing: Versk has 2 sets of clothes; one for colder weather and one for warmer weather. The warm set is a pair of loose fitting dark green trousers and a slightly lighter green shirt. The colder set is a pair of dark blue trousers, a light blue shirt, and a dark blue cloak.

Personality: Versk is a humorous person but he never gives up on anything he does.(This is a non-consistent sentence. He is humorous but never gives up?) He continually works toward his goal, whatever it may be.(remoe the period, put a comma) A(a)ll the while making jokes and smiling a lot.

-Skilled; Versk is skilled in many ways, and if he has no knowledge on what needs to be done he learns quickly.(What kinds of skills? We need to know exactly what he is capable of doing, in order for us to determine if you're balanced or not.)
-Never Quits; No matter how hard the job is Versk never stops until the task is complete.

Weaknesses
-Trusting; Versk trusts everyone until they are proven not worthy of his trust.

(Since knowing how to use the dagger and the bow is a strength, you are unbalanced. Add more weakness, or take down a weapon.)

History: Versk was born in the city of Milkengrad, an only child. His mother's name was Helen, and his father's name (is) James. His father worked at a tavern and kept food on the table for his family, and what little money was left over was saved or spent on necessities. They owned one horse named Molly that James rode to work everyday. Versk grew up as a normal child would and as soon as he could he started to make money for his family.

At the age of 9 he began running errands for his neighbors for a few (s)Sans. At the age of 13 he began searching for a better job. The tavern his father worked at had a stable and the current stableman was about to quit. Versk took this job and got paid little, but he got many tips from the people and he ended up making a fairly good amount of money this way. Everything was going fine, when his mother became ill.

His mother developed a mild case of Strangling Disease which didn’t affect her too much; she spent the day inside making blankets and clothing for her husband and son. But suddenly it became worse and she developed “The Chokes.” While the rest of the family was working she suffocated to death.

At the age of 17 he became a waiter at the tavern, like his father. He liked this job and continued to do it until his father died of natural causes. Stricken with grief he stayed at home for a long time. Once the saved money his father and he had been depleted he decided to travel around working where he could. The man accepted his offer to work and that is what Versk did. The work was hard; he woke up at the crack of dawn and didn’t relax much until it was beginning to get dark. The man treated him like another son and taught him how to use the bow. Versk like how the string felt between his fingers and learned how to use the bow well(Knowing how to use a particular weapon is a strength.). When winter came Versk decided it was time to go and he bid farewell to his friends. Before he left the man gave him his longbow and a quiver full of arrows. Versk rode away tears attempting to leave his eyes.

Versk continued to his(remove 'to his') traveling and worked(working) at taverns and farms all the way along(along the way). He is continuing as we speak(with who?) and has a pouch of money (that is) almost empty.

Belongings: A pack that he carries his other set of clothing in, along with some dried food. Attached to his pack is a water skin. And attached at his belt is a small pouch of money.
Weapons: A pair of daggers, with green handles, and a short bow. A tiny blue gem is at the very bottom of the hilt on each dagger. He can protect himself with the daggers(I assume that he knows how to use this dagger, since swinging the weapons is one thing; being able to protect yourself is another. being knowledgeable with whatever weapons you have is a strength.) and can fight well with his bow.

Familiars: Describe your familiar in detail here.

Have a nice day.

I went ahead and edited your CD, in order to correct the mispelled words.

Fix this, and I can't see any reason to withold your approval.

Strengths:
-Skilled; Versk is skilled in many ways, and if he has no knowledge on what needs to be done he learns quickly. He can use daggers fairly well and has picked up things on waiting farming and taking care of animals during his travels.
(His ability to quickly learn new things should be separated from his ability to use a dagger. They are two different things.)

Have a nice day.
