Title: Micro and Macro
Post by: Anastopheles on November 13, 2003, 05:06:22 AM
Hey, everything about seems perfect in santharia, excellent even.

But is anything happening on a 'macro scale'? I.e, orc invasions, religious schisms, National Wars and stuff like that, or are we waiting for the developement to be completed on the 'micro'.  sorry if this is impertinent!  or if its already been asked!

I don't know what you mean by 'Micro', but if you mean the roleplays that are acted out here: They're 'supposed' to be somewhat trivial, not affecting the world of Caelereth too strongly, since the real changes are not made on this board, but here. If you've been to that board too, and refer to that development as micro as well, I need a closer definition of it.

History is written on the dev board only, yup. Any role players with too much time on their hands are invited of course to participate in world development:)

Theres no such thing as too much time on your hands. Like my dad always says when I complain that I'm bored:

If you've got the time, I've got a job.

And that is why I try to avoid my dad on weekends.

"If you've got the time, I've got a job."

That's also exactly why role players avoid Arti's proposals to develop something on the dev board - because it means work! :lol

...don't mind the work I would just rather write stories than some factual info.

Same here. I would rather create the drama and action caused among its inhabitants. if there's something the developers would liek to use on the board from my story, then by all means they are. but i'll focus on developing good storylines that our rpers can play.
