Post by: Shan Gutarus on November 26, 2004, 03:38:22 PM

I left all open, so Shan can go down the path from Norgerinths tomp or coming from the falls and meet Mimi and Nyari at the bridge, near the end of the village, Mana could ride in this direction as well and Shan is coming down the path she is riding up - you just have to go back then, Mana... or something like that

So Nyari and Mimi are going the opposite direction and Shan is coming right at me from further down the road?

No, Mimi and Nyari are on the way to the herb woman, I think they take a shortcut and will be there quite early, seeing Shan vanish behind the house of Mimis grandmother or meeting him there - Nyari knows him.

I don't know, if I'm able to post today or tomorrow, please carry Mimi along... sorry.

*going to start to wrap some parcels, print out some vouchers - oh yes, and the toilet needs cleaning as well, and not enough cookies made...sigh*

No problem, Mana, you are posting regularly enough!

Luca, I have no farther reaching ideas for Pellagra, though she is Mimi's grandmother, she is not described or developped anywhere. Let us both write her, even if she will act a bit shizophrene then, :lol . We surely have both not so different ideas how a herbwoman (probably midwife, knowing all persons of the village well), acts. She has lost her son and has to look after Mimi (which is not easy).

It may be a good some time until we go back into the city and probably a chapter or two until we actually get into another city. Any ideas for the current?

I would ask that you read and update yourself on the story thus far...or at least the last few posts of the chapter.

Alrighty!

@ EveryoneHack and slash as you please. Remember...there are 8 "wild men" and then the three (Atreyk, Cole and Brent) to be dealt with. Also, dont forget about Dominic being on our side. When dealing with the wild-men, you can decide the reactions/outcomes of the battle...if you go against one of the three named, just follow the usual RPG battle etiquette :biggrin  I'll be sure to make it interesting.

@ Isa Feel free to make a positioning post in order to get dragged into this mess. It'd be nice to have a magical touch to help us along.

@ Kaelan Once you post your contact info, I'm going to e-mail you an idea I have for you joining in.

I just got in and was curious as to what has happened so far. I could read the entire story so far, but I'd like it if someone whose been here from early on could give me a Possible-to-read condensed version so that I don't become insane and live in a shack in the woods with my friend the bunny.

:pet  Come to the woods Illix...

NO! I don't want to live in your happy sugar shack of DOOM!

:pet  Uh... Okay then... I'm gonna go now...

Yeah you better run from my insanity, you figment of my Imagination!

Hey, isa, welcome first!
But second, you can't just take the fun out of the story by paralising nearly all of the attacking group except Brent and Atreyk. We want to have some more fun in fighting these guys. Apart from that, I think Kaelan has taken down already one or more from behind, so.... would be nice, if you edit your post and just harm one or two, maybe?

Another point which came to my mind - Shan, Dominic and Kaelan are in close combat with these guys - how can you actually kill or paralise the bad ones and not hurt the good ones?

Um, I'm still waiting for that possible to read condensed version of what's happened so far. I really don't want to read through 3 chapters of dialogue that my Char can't even use or know about, I just want the basic frame of what's happened so I can figure out how to get Illix in to the story.

Can someone please give me the jist of this?

Copied from the very first thread, all newcomers should read

Your Mission:

Enter Shanvorin Gutarus. A son of a rich noble with a reputation as a ladies man and all around jerk. Always having lived pampered, he never found the time to help or care about anyone. But when he crosses one old man too many, things start to change. Transformed suddenly into the feline body of a sleek and deadly hunter by a powerful mage, Shan must now retrieve three figurines scattered about to change himself back. With no way to communicate to the outside world and a whole new body to work with, our boy seems almost done in.

But then he meets Paladia. Our young elven warrior is in training to become an even more skilled and devoted member of her tribe. Determined to prove her worth and skill to her peers and supierors, Paladia takes Shan's journey as her own, convinced that the cryptic riddle found with the shingar is a sign. Together, the two must find these three figurines by solving strange riddles, passing strange new lands and surviving test after test of courage, strength and intelligence. And if it weren't for those they met on their way, Shan and Paladia would be beaten, burned, drowned and killed several times over.

It is up to the people that they meet to help them complete this quest for the futures of both hang in the balance. And of that troublesome mage that made this all happen? He's watching every second of it.

That‘s what Luca posted for me, when I joined - though I have read the whole story

As for the story plot, basically all that has happened is that Paladia and Shanvorin have made their way from the woods to Nepris, picking up and losing quite a load of poor suckers along the away. Some key events:

Nyari is found after her caravan she had been on along with her father is raided by bandits.

The group is attacked by a curious group of "wild men" in the mountains and, before their untimely demise, a few hinted to a greater purpose.

The emerald of a crying mother-figure has been located and we now head to Nepris.

Shan has seperated from the bulk of the group.

All of the group are new except Shan and Paladia.

And now read the last few pages of posts, that is what everybody who wants to join a story can be asked, ok?

Title: Illix needs info

Thankies, I now just need some basic info.

1. So the groups are Shan the Puma-Like cat boy and Paladia and everyone else, or does Shan have anyone with him?

2. Where are the two groups, in a town or a forest or what?

3. If possible to tell me without ruining it for everyone, what is going to happen next?

And sorry about the large amount of questions but the only story I was in so far was one where I got in on the ground floor. Sadly I are still teh n00b at heart.

I r teh sux *Sad Face* he he he.

Well, usually reflective armor, either midevil or futuristic, is quite bulky and one can not be certain they will face light based attacks. Infact quite typically in most situations through both catagories conventional attacks would be far more common.

use a mirror that you can carry around. prior experience facing the type of enemy you are looking for (or other empire just likes to use lasers too much). and i know conventional attacks are more common, but against something that is heavy on light attacks a mirror comes in handy

Yeah, those punk kids with their backwards rock music and their crazy video games and their pcs and their play by post Role Playing Games, they make me sick! Not like back in the day, when we had to kill people for their coats, and Dragons roamed the earth. We didn't call it Earth back then though, we called it Floopis. We were known as Floopians, and we ate chocolate cake for dinner. We didn't call it dinner or chocolate cake though, we called it dorango and tojima. "Having dorango for tojima again" we'd say. Not that we talked though, as we had psychic powers. But, we had to give those up when people started bursting into flame though, as it was anti-productive for the survival of the onion crops we all grew. We didn't call them onions though, we called them Freedom sphere's on account of the war against the pandas...

I will not put a link to my CD, because anyone who wishes to read my CD can search it up in the archives and they would really only need it once because they'd really only care if I were in a story with them and then they'd just look in the CD thread of the stroy so look it up in the archives because I will only make a link to my website which I will place on my portrait because then people will not know there is a link there and they will pass my picture with their mouse and be all like "WHAH?" and they will click out of curiousity and then I will Own their Soul! Thanks Mana. I'll do it after March break, I'm too tired now and I'm going away for march break tommorow afternoon, and will be away from internet while visiting both my grandmother's houses.

My mom says that I'm a handful, and she has to ship me away because she thinks I'm plotting to kill everybody. Oh sure, she doesn't SAY that, but I can connect the dots. Even the one's I had to draw in myself with a magic marker. It doesn't SAY it's a magic marker, but it makes markings and I KNOW that's magic. I mean, what else could it be, some sort of Ink filled tube inside of it that slowly releases ink through the felt tip? I think not. Now, to plan everybody's death...

Post by: Rvahr the Hunter on March 28, 2005, 02:26:22 AM
I just wanted you guys to know, in case you had not. Tracking and stealth are R'vahr's main powers. Tracking him is like tracking your shadow at night, or like tracking a mouse in a grassland. He really knows his stuff. He is more like a beast than a man. Think about it this way, predatory animals, R'vahr has lived with them all his life, if they cant track him how in all hells can you? They are born to track down prey, where admittedly you have no skill in such things whatsoever? Also what would be so strange about a tracker stopping for a moment... what would be strange is the fact that he stops so rarely... Tracking something is very stop go, hes been stoping and going for the whole freaking time!....>:   Yea I know, I know, you don't want R'vahr to do his thing, so the world can be a happy and perfect place, where butterflies never die and it never snows...:rolleyes   yea but com'on! I'm kinda getting tired of being oddly ganged up against because people want to further their odd goals for a heroic utopia... I mean, realistically why would you follow some naked guy, he appears odd like, you make odd assumptions, then he leaves. Immediatly the only thing that comes into your head about thrity minutes after a harrowing battle is "HES GOING AFTER THAT LITTLE FRIGGIN BRAT AIN'T HE?!?!":explode   kinda odd... especially if you realize that most of your characters have not noticed that the girl has been gone yet.:upset   Ok my rant is finnished, expect more on the morrow when I have gained some more steam.;)  :crazy

And Necro, It won't go there. You have, however, ever stained my mind with the image.

Terra is not so much tracking as following her observations, this is something Terra does vary well, and is one of vary few reasons she survided Guldor at all. To be honest it was your ferrets attempt to lead them away that tipped her off to something more. Now if you so wish I could move her towards some other creature stering in the grass, but don't think this will throw her off for long, and don't think she won't try and find you, she trust you as much as she trusts the Orc, and she has no idea what you did to make the child cry out, so she has no way of knowing if you ment or mean her harm. For all she knows you could be one of Areytuk's men.

Post by: Rvahr the Hunter on March 28, 2005, 06:56:22 AM
sure but what ovservations, the point I am making is that there is little for you to observe, the grass blowing in the wind, the ferret stoping, that means nothing.. you have seen him stop many times this is nothing new, the amount the grass is moving is negligable so little that you would not see it. He leaves no bent grass and sways none. He knows how to move and not get caught be a predatory animal, an untrained tracker such as yourself would stand no chance.

Necro, my mind is still stained... You will pay...

It amazes me that you use the words "little" and "negligable". These are in all honestly enough to start an unusual patter that can be spotted from horseback should one take time to look and be observant enough. Terra servived Guldor because she learned to use  what "little" and "negligable" changes reach her senses with a heavy hood over her head restricting her hearing and sight, a mask over her mouth and nose resticing smell, and lets not forget the rest of the heavy clothing that would have stopped her form freezing to death. Terra learned to overcome all this, and servive sometime reacting to nothing more obvious than the way the snow changed the way it swirled around her.

I know most of this is not in her history yet, but then most of it is in her CD if you take the time to look.

Rvahr I ran this situation past a few people, and they say that what you are trying to say is totally impossible even if you were a master of stealth. Your movement would still displace the grass, and that could go unnoticed on foot, I will grant you that much, but Terra is on horse back, from her elevated position she would be able to see a snake diplace grass as it moves. Unless you withered away till you had no more mass than wind then you would still create enough desterbance for Terra to notice.

I have to say that I do agree with Rvahr, somewhat (I'm not disregarding Terra's excellent point on the matter, though)

Everybody, the character descriptions are there in that thread of availability for a distinct reason. The reason I was so adamant on having Isa's easy to find is that I've been trying to figure just what his weaknesses are in comparison to his posts. Of all the things in my CD, the strengths and weaknesses of the character I am playing are at the front of my mind when I make a post. I try my best not to step out of their boundaries (though, sometimes, I admit. I've had to weedle my way about purely for the sake of moving the thing along. ie. the fact that Paladia did not snap and beat the bloody pulp out of Fordkedheart at first sight.). As a roleplayer and collaborating writer, I expect the same from everybody else.

Please. Take into account your own abilities, and those of the characters you play with. The story is not nearly as rich if everybody thinks of everything and nobody does anything wrong.

Nods to Luca. I consulted with Luca about the situation, and she agrees that given all factors and advanges in each others favor considered, Terra's actions are still on par with her skills and ablities. If you had something in mind that Terra is ruining with her following, then perhaps we can discuss alterantive, but I will not make things easy and streight forward just because you want it that way. Terra does as Terra does, and in some instances I am not even fully in control of that as what I want and what she would do don't always jive.

OK I was just kinda ranting, as R'vahr I do that sometimes... don't be offended, if I wanted to offend you I would just ingest your offspring... I'm done now. If anybody overpowers their character it's me... but i must say about that "powerfull arguement" that you had, have you ever seen a 260 lb lioness stalk in the savana, you follow where she is going in long grass, then ill start listening. I get discovery HD, you can see the freaking grains in the grass from much higher than a horse, and it still scares the pants out of you when she leaps out. I can't really tell you how they do it, mostly because the grass is ALWAYS moving, it never is still like you see in your head, the slightst breeze makes it flow like water. They move in low to the base and weave just so. But they are hard to see, how else would they sneak within inches of a weary impala. What I am saying is that R'vahr is more like a Lion than a man. But that does not really matter, i am just argueing because I can, ignore me if you feel like it, respond if you must.

Necro, that was sad, I expect better next time, or else. Anyways you know nothing of staining images. If I wanted to be kicked out of Santharia for the rest of eternity I could bring up stories which included you mother, me, my dog, and a carving instrument...

Dude 40 is old when you only live to 80 if your lucky and most like to around 70. Also I don't know what you may be trying to do, but Mephér never attacked you, he was greeting you. If he attacks you he would have pissed on your head and set you into the infernos of hell first class. If you want Isa to misinterpet what Mephér is doing then just take out the part about him going for your bad ankle and go for the hit. Though I must thank you, you are the first person not to do damage for Mephér, which made me joyous to say the least.

I know where you're hiding, I may have no eyes, but you reek of fear. You are a stain upon my senses. I can feel you shiver against the cold, I can hear your breath escape your lips, and I can taste the sweat on your brow. With that in mind, you have reason to be deathly afraid.

It would've worked better if I could've said it aloud. Trust me, it would've.

As for the strengths and weaknesses thing, I wholheartedly agree. For instance, in Helente NecroMage has already been pushed down, fallen down and cut his arm open, and had a dagger thrown into his arm. He so far has NOT solved the entire thing without ever screwing up by following the trail of an untracable naked guy, learning everything needed to solve all the problems and gotten a bajillion dollar reward. That's just common etiquite, and you all should get some. I mean come on, I'm talking to a cat and I can't read the fact it thinks I'm stupid which most cats believe anyway, but you all guess what A naked guy who's running away from where you are is thinking? Sory Shan, sorry Darien, but no way this works out like this:

Quote:
As the distance between them and the heroes grew shorter; he and Bolthor moved away behind the wooden fishing-houses to avoid being seen. The river was in their view and as Darien watched around the corner of the house he could see some figures on the streets a few dashes away… Then he leaned back against the wall giving his tortured stomach a rest. He had still been drinking at the inn if he had not noticed the commotion of the battle which eventually lead him to this point. “Now all whe have to do is await the right opportunity” he spoke to the giant who had positioned him now on a small bench in the yard of the current house. The giant man did not say anything further; but sighed for his slight annoyance to once again wait….

So you are IN the village.

As I stated before, the Baveras shrine is NOT near the village, it is at least two strals away, not just 200 peds, from any other building!. If you need at least a quater of an hour (running) to this place (Mimi)and R'vahr and Terra and Mana quite some time to go even half way there.
Darien, it is NOT only over the street and into the forest, as I pointed out already, with a map and a description. If you are only 200 peds from away from  the village you are  NOT NEAR THE SHRINE AND THE LAKE.

If this other type (Bother) was in the village (or near it) as well, he couldn't have found Isa as easily neither..

I doubt, that the sound was heard in the village, though this might have been possible.

And: R'vahr (though he can't post ), Terra and Mana are between the shrine and the village, so you had to pass these as well. No chance, I would say.
It is a pity, R'vahr isn't here, for his ferret would have a word to say as well, I assume..

Please be so nice and edit your post accordingly.

Uhm Mimi, Me Isa and Luca had this event kinda planned. I made my post that long pure for the intension nobody could interfere.

And uhm... i kinda don't really wanna edit my post because it is a good and exciting post. And i progressed the story to create a situation. A situation for the heroes to solve. Anyways i am the mods's minion and Mimi because you are one of the official mods of the story, Hm how would you like it if i edited all of my posts and simply state that i am near the Bavaras Shrine. ( So that my latest post can simply... flow on...).

Or whe can just let the ppl vote; Do i have to delete the larger part of my previous post or should i follow Mimi's statement?

I kinda want some outsiders reaction on what i must do. (however if mimi gets angry on me i will have no other choise then to do what she wishes. <sigh>  (luca back me up!)

If everything work out well. Then i will make contact with you Isa; ezbordmssg; You are suppoced to wake up yes and get beaten up, But you will escape...

And Ilix; That sounds nice. Your permission is granted for running into me when i stray the streets for spying on you people. Anyways i am kinda waiting for Mimi's reply right now. I'm kinda confused and disturbed by her last OOC message. Which was actually not really part of my grand plan. >sigh< . Post mimi! post!

yea,.. true. Uhm, But i am afraid for heroic interference,..
-Anyways i want Luca to edit and comment first. Because if i will edit my post then Luca's will not make sense. She will fix the situation ;)

Well, Darien, it is easy, as long as Terra, R'vahr and Mana are not wanting their share. The problem with such plannings is, that you have to wait for reactions of your fellow players, and they might not fit into the plan.

Luca can easily edit her post, saying that Bother went outside for his purpose, heard the crash, and set out to look after it. Darien could follow him. They meet Mimi sitting with Isa. Then you could go on and post the FIRST part of your post and save the rest. When you are finished with Mimi and the ferret, you could post the second part. The only problem is, Terra and Mana should have heard the crash as well and be there earlier than you. What we do with R'vahr not being here, I don't know.

So now? Do we just say, that Terra and Mana are distracted and can't come  in time?

Isas post can be saved as yours.

if you send me a note, i can come to IRC or MNS, if it is not just the second half of the night(board time)

I could always edit my post and have Mana pass out from blood loss or what not, something like that would cause Deorheort to freak out therefor Terra and R'vahr probably wouldn't be able to hear the crash above the whinnying.

Actually, Luca doesn'thave to edit her post

"He made quick speed to the location of the sound and found a rather delicious scene." We can interpret it as we like.

So it is your turn now, Darien, to edit your post slightly, I'm here the next to hours or so, then after maybe 7 hours or so again, if I see, that I'm needed.

isa, I delete your post as soon as you have reposted it.. we just ignore it for now..

Darien, I can't change the order of the posts, but what I did when writing my post was going back into the past a bit to describe what happened to Mimi and isa before you two arrived.

So don't ignore me, I'm sitting next to isa! Very close!

Being royally confused, I am going to edit my post to include his reaction to Mimi and leave a space for that in a very vague and open way, so it can be determined however you want Mimi.:\  Lets just assume, after (if) Mimi posts her reply to Bolthors actions, there will be no more edits and post order will return back to normal because this is rather confusing :|

Oh well, I edited/deleted/reposted the post in the right order, Darien, just post the rest of your last post, and this is isas which I can't post now , waiting for you..

Btw, the bite injury in Bolthers arm could be infected....

ISALDOR:

Isaraldor awoke with a shudder. Sheesh, this is way too much water to be good for you, Isaraldor thought. Then he realized that he was niether near the lake, the house he had helped to protect, or anywhere nearby. Instead, he was tied to a chair, facing some evil looking people among other things he saw. "Who are you, and what are you going to do to me?" Isaraldor said in an angry voice. Isaraldor was pretty sure they were going to torment him, but maybe he could trick them. Maybe they knew he was a mage, maybe they didn't know that he was out of power... maybe.

Are you lost by the talk of Isaraldor and Bolthor? My advice...ignore it. It was basically just a geography miff that needed fixing and didn't change a whole lot.

Back at the cottage, I just tried to spur on activity in the area. Basically, Pella has assumed it Pally and co.'s responsibility to save Nepris just so things could get moving over there while Isa's busy getting kidnapped.

Kaelen and the people are still at the village. With Core and paladia and ilix and the cat and some others,..

Mana and terra (and rvahr?) are somewhere between the village and the shrine (for as far mimi told) And will be able to hear the crash but by the time they get there there will be nothing but a broken boat. (mayby mimi, but i think she followed bolthor and darien) And then there is isa who is now captured in the criminals hideout.

Simply read up on the last page. (me blames mimi for confusion*)

Title: Unclean! Burn It!
Post by: Illix on April 26, 2005, 11:40:22 AM
This is the WEIRDEST story I think I will EVER be a part of.

To be clear, the part where she changed is before you heard the footsteps, pretty much just after she was out of sight of the others, so you should honestly think that she's... erm, an escort. Yeah, an escort. Also, if you read her history, you'll know that she Can pull this off quite easily as she's had enough training to fool you until she kills you. As long as you don't decide to call upon her... escorting skills.

And I don't think that this is even the worst part of the story, since R'varh was running around naked AND eyeless for a while, AND he wanted to kill a six year old, AND Dari made his NPC Orc take a pee, AND Isa inserted christian symbols into Santharian religion inadvertedly, AND he wants to be tortured, AND there's a senile old guy whos delerious from knock out drugs, AND If I'm not mistaken, there's still a bunch of corpses lying around that nobody notices. But still, I feel unclean. I'm gonna go burn myself in a bonfire until the creepyness stops.

Once again, this story is creepy and weird. And the premise of the guy turning into a cat? Not really that weird compared to what we've added. DOUG! LIGHT ZE MATCH! *VASCHOOM!*

AGH!!! THE FIRE!!! IT BURNZ!!!!!!!!!!!111111

Actually, Scout was a girl scout who turned out to be a Robot Guy. You're thinking of Dil, who was a pickle.

Here I go, playing the Hero again...

Luca........  RL gets tight now for me, and I have to slow down with my activity on the RPG-board and Santh in general. It was fun to be a part of your story , though only for a short while. You have an exceptional way of writing.Hope to see you elsewhere soon.

Mimi can just stay at home now, if needed, puppet her for a short while.

And I have to lay down modship then as well..

Good bye , fellow players! See you at another time!

Talia

Aw, okies Talia. I've been stretched pretty thin right now myself so I'll get a post up (where I will bunny Mimi and Illix, apparently)  ASAP. Hopefully tonight after dinner....which I should conjure up pretty soon.

Or I could play my new Troll Mage on WoW. Ah, the possibilities.

Alas, no. My stomach still reigns supreme. After dinner it will be, then :lol

May not be the right place to ask, but incase Talia checks here and not T's Heart I will ask here anyway.

Talia, will you still be playing/moding in T's Heart? Either way, if you could e-mail me any plot plans you had near or far future that would be great. Also letting me know one way or another would be great as well.

Why do you ask?

I'm still waiting for some sign of activity before i make my next post.
I guess Luca is busy. Mana isn't around much, I guess she'l be back.
Rvahr is gone. Isa is active. Necro is still banned. Kaelen is here i guess. Terra also... Talia has left...  Bahran is still around somewhere.... , (however as another char?)

Okay i know that i am waiting for Illix right now... However i'd guess Luca should get back to prod the thing along. Whe're almost at the most exciting part of the story ( At least for as long as my appearance lasts in the story...Lots of action is coming up...;)  ).

Hey wait, I know why we haven't seen the pirates. The pirates have been there all along, we just can't see them because they're NINJA-PIRATES! Hi-YAR! Hi-YAR!

i just wanted to say sorry, i really must have screwed you guys up not posting. I hope it never happens again, and maybe at some freak point, i can join in again. Anyways, This is just an apology for not being reliable as i should have.

I dont know if you guys heard, but my internet was completely down, we got it back up last weekend, but it was out again by monday... I wish i had been able to post, but i live in the middle of nowhere and even now and using a borrowed laptop to post... If i get my grades up the rents will allow me to use my money from my summer job to buy the parts to build a computer, at that point i will be stable, untill then i dont know. I really wish i could have kept up with you guys and gone through with this rp, it was my fave by far... GAH... Oh so anyway, what did you guys do with R'vhar?

I know where you're hiding, I may have no eyes, but you reek of fear. You are a stain upon my senses. I can feel you shiver against the cold, I can hear your breath escape your lips, and I can taste the sweat on your brow. With that in mind, you have reason to be deathly afraid.

Ummm... Well we just left him where he was and continued on, so if/when you come back you can just find some way to explain why you did not follow Terra and Mana. Maybe the sent trail went in a different direction or something.

POST ABOUT ILLIX ALREADY! SHE WANTS TO BE WEARING PANTS AGAIN! Seriously, I don't want MY clothes getting stolen... I left my weapons with them.

Soon my enemies will be consumed by flame...

Title: Re: Pants are nice
Post by: Terra Artemos on May 25, 2005, 11:13:22 PM
Umm... Darien, if Luca has not already mentioned this to you, there are some problems with your post.

First of all we are still a ways off, and still in the woods. We are simply where the woods thin out enough to see the Woodcutters Cottage. It is unlikely that any of your men, save the one on the trees above us (At least I am assuming he is in the trees.), would be able to see or hear us. In truth we are no where near the door, but rather reconoutering from a distance.

Second look at what we have to work with VS what you are putting us up against. We have an archer (Though Pally may have some melee skills.), and unarmed sailor and a swordwoman against eight armed men and five archers. That is if I get the lay of the situation correctly.

The way I see it our only option if your tactics could work (See first inconsistancy.) is to indeed try and penetrate the cottage, however that situation can be abuse and turned hopeless if we don't deal with the situation outside.

Now I do hold Terra's ablities in high regard, and I am sure she could handle four of your armed men, though it would be quite a challenge, she has limits to you know. I doubt however Dominic can handle the other four, and Pally can handle five archers. Well make than four concidering my plans for one of them.

I guess its not all that hopeless as long as the archers are not good shots.

bleh. misread something in one of the posts i see now.... Don't worry i'm allready of to edit. (shouldn't have made this last post in tha middle of the night) Fixing..... Oh and you don't always have to fight Terra.... Bargaining, Escaping or using your intelligence are also ways to put up a fight. All you need is some imagination and some smart way of writing tha post ;)

Title: Re: Pants are nice
Post by: Terra Artemos on May 26, 2005, 02:14:22 PM
Well Darien lest see what Dom has to say about the house before we go assuming anyones actions. She may decide to approach things differently depending on what he knows. ;)  Using ones intelligence is all well and good, but using ones intelligence based on ignorance can be disastrous.

Title: Re: Pants are nice
Post by: Luca the Thief on May 28, 2005, 01:52:22 PM
Well put Terra. Unfortunately, it would not be logical for Dom to know a whole lot of the lumberjack, much less the house, considering that he spends so much of his time out to sea. I think I have thought of a bit of a loophole to this, so I'll see what comes up as a write. :broadgrin

Also, Bah. Can you at least try to post? I want to get that end of the story rolling eventually....
