okay, i am totally confused. how do i create my character? and why does everyone have the name, then human, or whatever they are next to thier name? how do i do that? is there even an actual game to play on this site? because that is the only reason why i evan bothered to join it. im so confused. im usually really good at these types of things, but not on this site. gosh! i hate being a noobie x_o

Go to 'Character Creation' which is the first option under 'Where to Begin' on the sidebar on your left. It will tell you everything you need to know.

The games on this site are basically the equivilant of oldschool paper n pen sitting around the table roleplaying, without the dice. Character creation is an act of artistic creation, developing a character with a backstory, etc.

If your looking for some sort of graphical game, this site is not for you.
If you are looking for a MUD (multi-user dungeon), this site is not for you.
If you are looking to become part of a story, and part of the telling of the same story, this site is designed for you in mind.

You only get back what you lput in here.

one question is possible to have leather plate for armor my idea is basically hard pieces of leather with normal leather in between for good hardness and flexibility?

That shouldn't be a problem. It sounds like basic leather armor most general mercenaries would have if they wore armor.

hey, i have a question.
I want to be a race that doesn't have tribes listed.
Do i just choose one of the other race's tribes?

i am an ogre. they dont have any listed tribes. do i go with orcs or what? i did that but if i dont, please tell me.

another thing is, what are the restrictions on familiars? can i have a Griffin for a familiar for example?

They do have tribes, you just have to look under which part of Sarvonia you want to be from. Then click on that underneath the "Ogres, the Race" link.

As for familiars, they have to exist and they can't be mythological. Griffons are very very very rare so you would have to take that up with an admin or a CD mod if you wanted one.

Ah. Well, I looked them up on the site, and they weren't under mythological and this is what the entry says:

Gryphons are almost impossible to find, to do research on. Gryphons are a very rare species, rumored to have gone extinct by now.

You have to distinguish between Gryphs and Gryphons. Gryphons are mythical, Gryphs are not. I remember there being a discussion a while back about Gryphons since there was some confusion about them being mythical or not, from how the entry is written. The final conclusion was that they're mythical.
