@ EveryoneHack and slash as you please. Remember...there are 8 "wild men" and then the three (Atreyk, Cole and Brent) to be dealt with. Also, dont forget about Dominic being on our side. When dealing with the wild-men, you can decide the reactions/outcomes of the battle...if you go against one of the three named, just follow the usual RPG battle etiquette  I'll be sure to make it interesting.

@ Isa Feel free to make a positioning post in order to get dragged into this mess. It'd be nice to have a magical touch to help us along.

I just got in and was curious as to what has happened so far. I could read the entire story so far, but I'd like it if someone whose been here from early on could give me a Possible-to-read condensed version so that I don't become insane and live in a shack in the woods with my friend the bunny.

Hey, isa, welcome first!
But second, you can't just take the fun out of the story by paralising nearly all of the attacking group except Brent and Atreyk. We want to have some more fun in fighting these guys. Apart from that, I think Kaelan has taken down already one or more from behind, so.... would be nice, if you edit your post and just harm one or two, maybe?

Another point which came to my mind - Shan, Dominic and Kaelan are in close combat with these guys - how can you actually kill or paralise the bad ones and not hurt the good ones?

Um, I'm still waiting for that possible to read condensed version of what's happened so far. I really don't want to read through 3 chapters of dialogue that my Char can't even use or know about, I just want the basic frame of what's happened so I can figure out how to get Illix in to the story.

Can someone please give me the jist of this?

Your Mission:

Enter Shanvorin Gutarus. A son of a rich noble with a reputation as a ladies man and all around jerk. Always having lived pampered, he never found the time to help or care about anyone. But when he crosses one old man too many, things start to change. Transformed suddenly into the feline body of a sleek and deadly hunter by a powerful mage, Shan must now retrieve three figurines scattered about to change himself back. With no way to communicate to the outside world and a whole new body to work with, our boy seems almost done in.

But then he meets Paladia. Our young elven warrior is in training to become an even more skilled and devoted member of her tribe. Determined to prove her worth and skill to her peers and supierors, Paladia takes Shan's journey as her own, convinced that the cryptic riddle found with the shingar is a sign. Together, the two must find these three figurines by solving strange riddles, passing strange new lands and surviving test after test of courage, strength and intelligence. And if it weren't for those they met on their way, Shan and Paladia would be beaten, burned, drowned and killed several times over.

It is up to the people that they meet to help them complete this quest for the futures of both hang in the balance. And of that troublesome mage that made this all happen? He's watching every second of it.

As for the story plot, basically all that has happened is that Paladia and Shanvorin have made their way from the woods to Nepris, picking up and losing quite a load of poor suckers along the away. Some key events:

Nyari is found after her caravan she had been on along with her father is raided by bandits.

The group is attacked by a curious group of "wild men" in the mountains and, before their untimely demise, a few hinted to a greater purpose.

The emerald of a crying mother-figure has been located and we now head to Nepris.

Shan has seperated from the bulk of the group.

All of the group are new except Shan and Paladia.

And now read the last few pages of posts, that is what everybody who wants to join a story can be asked, ok?

1. So the groups are Shan the Puma-Like cat boy and Paladia and everyone else, or does Shan have anyone with him?

2. Where are the two groups, in a town or a forest or what?

3. If possible to tell me without ruining it for everyone, what is going to happen next?

And sorry about the large amount of questions but the only story I was in so far was one where I got in on the ground floor. Sadly I are still teh n00b at heart.
