Help needed...

Anyone care to help a dumb newbie out please?
I'm ironing out my character description, and I was wondering about the following it'd be great if someone could check me over to make sure I'm not making huge errors before I even try to post this description and get it accepted ;

So far, my character's name is Yallume, and she's almost ready to join in! :D

Race ; Half Elf (Quaelhoirhim)/Human(Helcrani)

Age ; 19 (I am unsure about the aging of a HALF elf.)

Her parents were artists, and I'm wondering where the most likely place of residence would be for her family? Bordavos?

These are just the parts I'm a little unsure about.
If this looks okay, let me know and I'll post it in "Characters" finally. YAY! :D

You really should post this elsewhere, such as the character descriptions forum.  This forum is only for things concerning this particular story.  

Anyway, I think what you have should do.  Your age might be a little too low, but I'm not that sure.  As for your residence, Bardavos is quite likely, but it could also be anywhere else artists might be found.

For the half elf's age there is an option on the elven age calculator to detirmine the age of a half elf. Just pick Human in the right drop down menu. They didn't have this kind of crazy computerization when I was detirmining the age for my half elf character. You youngins have it so easy. (Ok...so I only registered my half elf character a month ago, but still)

You don't seem too top-heavy on warriors.  I'd be happy to keep an eye on all the elves and mages. Besides, someone has to keep Jerardomas in line ...

Well Talos, now that I look at it, you're right that we dont have many warriors in the party. But we wont be needing any for a short while. But we will ^_^

But I would prefer to not accept any more characters for a short while. I just want the party to get aquainted and start on their way before accepting anymore characters.

I'm not saying no, but I would prefer you to perhaps join later when the story is a bit more organized.

Well atm prob every day cept tuesday as I have college till 9 in the evening. But I leave for a week on the 11th Feb be back the 18 th though. That be okay.
