@ Shaeo Hmm... after looking over your CD I don't think the character would really fare well where this story's direction is taking us. Your shingar familiar would prove cumbersome (since the story already has one!), albeit potentionally entertaining, and your character just doesn't seem the type for the open seas. Sorry, but maybe at a later, more appropriate time in the story we could see you joining!

@ Lesa: Allo there! Freshly titled and ready to go, I see  Thaedras and I have agreed that you can join, being a cleric of Grothar sure to put an interesting twist into things. Our only concern right now is your uncil pet. Though the cat could prove to be an interesting asset to the story, in the same way as Shaeo's shingar, it could prove cumbersome. We might have to think of something to keep that hip cat under wraps. (Mrr, sorry. Lame, I know) But anyway, post your character and contact info in the right threads and we'll start thinking of a way to incorporate your character!

Hello Luca...

A little long in coming... Haha. Slowly feeling my way around.
So... question is, may I join? You don't have to integrate me yet since I am still catching up on the storyline that has progressed over the past two years (do RPGs last that long? We are already entering 2006).

Hmmm looks like RPG forums are long term time-investment.

Hmm, we're not "full" quite yet, but we have a good number of characters already so new ones will have to be particularily convincing. Since we're about to go to sea, what could your character add to the story?

I am back, and since Trumpetiering is still a failure, I decided to try once again to waste some time with you great people. Except for Derek, he still needs underpants. Seeing as a blind dude who cant speak Tharian and his scortcher companion have no place on a boat, how bout an insane, oversized, elven wind mage and his artifact of doom?

Kain has already been at sea once, when he came to Santharia, and may be able to speed the journey of the sea, being a competent wind mage. His personality is not quite harmonious, but he could give some spice to the rp. Though I realize you already have a wind mage, and are looking for unique aspects to your rp Kain might have some tension with Isa, considering both are wind mages, though I can't find Isa's CD for some reason so I dont know when he attended Ximax. Maybe, if they went at the same time, they could remember each other? They could hate each others guts, or even maybe feel something akin to companionship? Kain can give a dark twist to the grand tale you weave.

Maybe you meet him when he is under the insanity, then after some battle,  knock him unconsious and spare his life. This could make him feel in debt to you and stay with you, as a protector of sorts.

Or, I could be a guest character and just come in searching for Gulath who i assume is still in action?. If not him then maybe this other fellow you seek information on, Aytek or something?

Kain's CD is in the Sig of course and If you want a sample of my style check Voldar main gate and now the Inn in Voldar, or you could check out Twilight, where Kain his oggling Rheine.

Whichever does or does not fit your appetite (or distaste) for bloodthristy windmage. Oh, and incase you didn't know, I am asking to join the Shadows again.

@ Kain I've already talked this over with your good buddy Derek (pants or not, he's a good guy.... I guess )  and I think your character would just add too much "chaos" to the ship. It's such a small setting and we already have a good number of characters, I think somebody with your character's personality would make things seem almost cluttered. Maybe at a later date when the characters are not crammed into such confinements?

@ Eya As I already told you in the IRC, I just think that this character is too simliar to Paladia to accept right now.

I am not sure if you geave an affirmitive or negitive resoponce to this, or even saw it, since I did not see the thread for a while before the restoral, but I heard, by a certain gnome, that Shadows might be opening for more playaz... and am placing my ticket in the hat.
