@Shan: Just thought of something else. Erian could be staying at the same tavern Illix and Darien are currently visiting. He could hear the commotion as Illix uses her improvised weapon, and he would go to their room to see what the noise was and see Darien threatening Illix (I assume that he wouldn't be in a good mood after being hit with a vase). Erian draws his blades and attempts to defend Illix. The result of the confrontation I'll leave for you to decide, that is if you like the idea.

I'm not sure that would mesh with my plan too good Eri. after all, Illix wouldn't put her entire safety in the hope that there's a vase in the room. She's got something else planned. Something... Else.

I think it would be better if Erian made his debut in Shadows right after Illix uses the vase. The sound of it breaking could wake him up in the next room, and he would go to Darien's room to investigate.

oh and, are those the kind of stairs that have big gaping holes between them? and are thire any guards at the door, or only at the foot of the stairs, or are they even at the foot of the stairs? man, i wish i was a troll... hey thats not a bad idea. except, too tired.

isa you are mentioning the wrong person.... It isn't zerigron with you in the basement but Radirez (the horror) ya might change that to avoid confusion.

Erian's intro into the story is done. But I must warn you that his dreams are grim, just the way I like them. Before long, Illix can use her vase and Erian can come to her rescue. Or something like that. I kinda feel sorry for Darien, a confrontation with Erian will not be good for his health.
