Physical Appearance
: Most see her as "skinny" but under her own self critical gaze she sees something else and blames her loose clothing for the opinions of others. Even though she if average weight for her height. Now she shedding weight each week from exercising, loosing the small layer of 'baby fat' she hadn't rid herself of while living a quite comfortable life in the city. While she might not agree with the opinion of others, she has learned to ignore what others think of her. Long limbs provide her with a long stride and reach that she finds helpful most times, though her arms often dangle uselessly by her sides. When she realizes that she is doing this she will usually tangle long fingers through the fur of her guardian, Steel. Slender muscles course throughout her form, built up from her new life-style. Another addition to her appearance due to her adapted life is the slowly darkening tan form being out in the sun most days.
Thin face is framed by wavy brown hair that falls to her shoulders and is usually causing her a good deal of trouble. It is pretty common to see her brushing stray locks of hair behind her ears or running both hands through it to pull it back behind her shoulders, and she refuses to tie it back. Dark brown eyes are ringed with dark circles and slightly sunken from lack of sleep. Sometimes it gets too bad that she appears to have a black eye. She doesn't really care most times as she can't completely rid herself of the haunted look as it seems to run in her bloodlines. While she often looks tired, sometimes even ready to drop, she can always find a smile or a word for friends, new and old. When she is grinning, the sprinkling of freckles across the bridge of her nose and high on her cheeks can be seen; along with a dimple on the left side that she desperately wishes to be rid of.
Clothing
: Well, Dath not only acts boyish, but also dresses that way. Her daily wear pretty much consists of a loose shirt and loose leggings. She has a few sets of clothing that she keeps with her. Each shirt and pair of leggings are of the same basic design, though others are a bit more fitted than others. Her meager wardrobe consists of a few rather simple colors, such as: blue, green, grey, black, and brown. With this she usually has a belt that holds her skinning knife, and a faded grey cloak with hood. Soft leather boots adorn her feet and are well worn in from the amount of traveling she does.
Personality
If you can believe it, I'd like to tell you that Dath is a rather quiet person most of the time. Yeah, it true, she tends to keep to herself and is actually pretty shy around new people. I guess timid would be the best word to describe her at that time. She's not the type to start a conversation and is slow to keep up the talk, but once you get her started she begins to open up a bit more. She's no chatterbox, but she can hold a conversation a bit better around those she gets to know a bit.
Dathne's main downfall when talking to others is that she doesn't really know how to reply to some times. She will get uncomfortable, trying to think of something that doesn't sound stupid and isn't the same thing she's been saying time and time again. When she gets stuck she might try to change the subject or stop talking for a time and allow the other person to start again on a different subject. She's not trying to be rude, but she just doesn't know what to say. It is odd that she is more of a listener than a speaker and she has trouble replying to some things people say, but it's true.
Another aspect of her is the boyish attitude that she always carries about. Well, it isn't completely her fault that she grew up with men and doesn't know how to act like a woman. She act, walks, and sometimes even talks like a male, and she sees nothing wrong with it. It is who she is and who she was raised to be, and there is no reason she sees that she would need to change. Due to this she is actually more comfortable around men than women, but she gets along with both. The only problem she has is with people that might try to be more than friends. She's been sheltered her entire life but even then a few boys have tried to approach her. They aren't all bad, but she is still uncomfortable in situations like that since she no longer has her 'brothers' to stop conversations like that before they start.
Oh, when she's not being quiet, she is rather … um, how should I put it … Loud!!! She's about as outspoken as her 'brothers' and about as hardheaded as any Erpheronian I've known. That dang Erpheronian pride seems to apply to all of those people. Once this woman has made up her mind there is no changing it and she would never admit it was a mistake. You might argue with her all you want, but nothing will change. I'm beginning to think that this pride issue is worse with the women because this is no arguing with them without it and its hell spending time trying to turn them. Well, just letting you know, it ain't gonna happen. That girl is too hardheaded and I think it would have been a problem before her 'family' got to her.
Well, she's really nice to almost everyone, unless they give her a reason to dislike them. When she opens up and gets to know people she is a lot of fun and enjoys joking, telling stories, boasting, chatting, and even just sitting around enjoying the company. True, she's a hot head at best and suffering from lack of sleep or pain most days, but she finds a smile for just about everyone and can set aside those things when pleasant company most times. Those that know her best understand that she has her good and bad days like many and would never want to hurt her friends.
Strengths
One of the guys
: Dath has grown up around her 'brothers' and both real and 'adopted' fathers without the influence of a woman in her life. For a short time she worked as a waitress and some of the other women tried to help her, but she preferred spending her time around her 'brothers'. She has pretty much, 'always been one of the guys' and she acts like a boy more often than a girl. This isn't all bad, as she is a bit tougher from rough-housing with her 'brothers', pretty outspoken, and has learned to hide her fear.
Guardian
: A massive Mithral/Voldon mix follows her around and has played the part of her guardian since she left her home. This huge beast is a rather protective of Dath and will carefully watch any that are around her. Steel is a good friend and companion to his human and will do anything to protect her. He will rarely let her out of his sight and even when he goes off hunting he will stay as near as he can and keep an ear out for any sound of danger. So far, he has been successful in keeping bandits and other highway rogues away from her.
Wilderness Lore
: When training Steel, she spent a lot of time out in the forest and land surrounding the city and learned to identify most of the edible plants and some plants that have healing properties. Dath knows how to skin and cook the food that Steel supplies. She also knows how to survive on the road for the time, what to avoid, what to follow, and stuff like that. In know way is she an expert at this, but she knows enough to get her though the trip from one city to another. She even loves life out in the open more than life in the city at times.
Coin
: Dath's foster brothers are the son's of a wealthy lord. After the eldest son gave up his rights at heir and their father has passed away, the youngest son, Kelder, started setting aside coins for his 'sister'. When she decided to start traveling, he told her that she would never want for anything and supplies her with enough coin to be comfortable on the road between visits. The only time she really must find work is on the return trip when money is running low and even then she sometimes can get away without having to search for a job.
Reading and Writing
: At a young age Dath was taught to read and write, side by side with her 'foster families' son. She can read fairly well and her writing is only a little bit shaky, but it is good enough for her go get a letter penned to her 'family'. While she can read signs and other things, she pretty much has only had to use this for sending letters and reading them, though this will be valuable to her later in life more than likely.
Weaknesses
One of the guys
: After growing up around only men, she had become 'one of the guys'. This hinders her in many ways. Mostly the things that make this a strength for her also make it a weakness. She has been sheltered by her 'brothers' for most of her life, that she doesn't really know how to take care of herself around strangers and is often too outspoken for her own good. The hardheadedness that she acquired from years of arguments also tends to get her in a lot of trouble. Sometimes she even believes she is invincible because has been known to hide her fear from herself.
Beautiful Pelt
: Well, Steel is a blessing as well as a burden. He has been known to be the target of hunters due to the wonderful pelt that he keeps with him at all times. While he is her guardian, his highly decorative coat puts Dath in harms way at times and has attracted many wealthly man's eye. Many would pay a good deal for Steel's fur and more than a few have tried to collect that bounty, but obviously none have succeeded. These victories were not without a price though; Dath has a scar on her left shoulder from an arrow that came a little too close once and has found herself in a difficult situation more than that.
Looks
: She has come to the conclusion that she is cursed. Those that just see the male clothes often believe that she is indeed male and even the honorable ones won't think twice about shutting her up by punching her in the mouth or getting aggressive when her outspoken nature gets the better of her. This also makes her nervous because Steel is always on the look out and an outbreak in a local area could be very bad. When people recognize her for what she is, she tends to have other problems. Unwanted attention usually comes her way, be it from men who notice that she is indeed a she or women who wonder and whisper behind her back.
Accident Prone
: Dath is extremely accident prone. While rough-housing with her foster brothers, she often sprained her ankle, knees, wrists, and other joints, so it is not uncommon for her to easily hurt herself again because she won't let the injury heal. Pulled muscles, cuts, scrapes, and any other type of injury are also common for her. She has even been known to trip on air for some reason or another. When she is not collecting a new injury, an old one is prone to plague her at random moments for a time.
Back/Sleep Problems
: For some reason that befuddles her, Dath is prone to having trouble sleeping at night due to pain in her back. It takes her a while to find a sleeping position that doesn't hurt and then getting to sleep while staying in that position isn't always easy. After she finally gets to sleep, she tends to have problems staying asleep. Luckily, her back only bothers her when she is trying to sleep (go figure), but this leads to troubles during the day and the lack of sleep builds up.
History
Dath's father, Caric, married at the age of twenty. Neither of her parents were ready for a child but she came. When Dath was about two years old her mother left, not ready to raise a child, leaving her with her father. Her father worked as a barman at an inn, owned by a wealthy lord and the man took care of Dath while her father worked. His wife had died giving birth too their second son, who was only a week or so older than Dath, and so he took advantage of getting the change of having a daughter.
She grew up in that life, spending most of her time with her second family and growing up with the Lord's sons, who were like brothers too her. Oh, the fought and tussled and did everything brothers and sisters did when they were younger, and they grew really close together. Dath's father was working late almost every night like always and she pretty much lived with her second family. The Lord seems to enjoy having another child underfoot and Dath was the daughter he'd never have. It was even better that she got along with his sons so well. Kelder was only a few weeks older and the older son, Meos, was six year older, and extremely protective of both of the younger ones.
While living with them she learned a lot that she would never have had the change to learn as a bartender's daughters and got to spend a lot of time at the stables with Kelder. They both enjoyed being around the animals and the few lazy hounds that the stable house were a favorite of the kids. Those hounds had a good few years of daily attention. That was until Steel and his brother came into the picture, but that’s a story for later.
As they grew, both boys were extremely protective of Dath and always stood up for her, even though she was likely to jump into any disagreement at that time. The hot-headed girl of eleven was always getting into something and that only got worse with time, though when she hit fifteen she started to avoid conflicts more. At that age he father had talked her into working at the inn for a while as a waitress. She reluctantly agreed and spent most of her afternoons down there, and so did her guardians.
It didn't take long for her quit that job, due to the pleas of her 'brothers'. Apparently it was difficult to protect her then, even in her usually leggings and shirt. She easily gave it up, but she still can survive for a few days every now and then where she needs money. After that brief experience she went back to her daily wanderings with her 'brothers'.
That brings us to about fifteen months ago. The merchant had acquired a litter of wolf half-breed pups and was selling them off fairly cheap because he apparently didn't want them. After much begging from his son's he purchased two of the creatures, telling them at they were responsible for them and if the beast wasn't trained right it would be put down. Kelder shared his pup with Dath for a short while.
Well, that was until Meos got himself into some trouble at a tavern one night and ended up in jail for a few days. When he got out he didn't return, instead he set off to find his own way, renouncing the title of heir. The Lord gave Kelder his older brother's pup and gave Dath the other for lack of reason not too. She spent a lot of time with Kelder and the pups in the woods, training them to hunt on their own and hunt with a master. During that time, the Lord fell ill and died a few months later. The new lord of the estates returned to his home, putting things in order and seeking help with the running of things.
Dath's world was slowly crashing down around her so she decided it was time to leave. Distant shores and places had always called to her and here was her chance to break free. She spoke to Kelder about it and he was against it at first but knew he had to let get go sometime. He wished her luck and told her she would never want for anything and that she must come back to visit every once in a while. She agreed and left, Steel going with her as her new protector at Kelder's insistence. For the last five months she has been traveling and visiting any place she can reach.
Equipment
Weapons
: She carries only a skinning knife for preparing food that Steel takes down. Other than that, Steel is pretty much her only other means of protection. His teeth, claws, and size make him a deadly opponent.
Belongings
: A leather pack, brush for Steel, brush for herself, quill and ink, parchment, charcoal sticks, a pair of thick blankets, trail rations, small hand mirror, flint and steel, clothing, leather leash, coin pouch, and other things she picks up.
Familiar
Basics Information
Name
: Steel
Gender
: Male
Age
: 15 months (1 year and 3 months)
Species
: Canine
Breed
: 3/4 Mithral Wolf - 1/4 Voldon
Appearance
Height
: 2 fores, 2 palmspans, 10 nailsbreadths, and 4 grains
Length
: 2 peds and 3 grains
Weight
: 1 pygge, 3 hebs, 1 hafeb, 4 ods, and 7 muts
Eyes
: Due to the one fourth Voldon in his bloodlines, his eyes have refused to turn the brilliant amber color that is common among wolves. While blue is not unheard off, it isn't exactly common and pretty much unseen in this color (except in other similar bloodlines). This wolf has beautiful, blue-grey eyes that gleam with intelligence. If someone was brave enough to get close enough to him and look into his large eyes, they could notice the fine slivers of blue (on the inside - near the pupil) and grey (on the outside) that dance a fine line, never touching, never mixing.
When looking deeply into his eyes, one could see that the blue brings to mind the night sky. A deep blue of unconceivable depth is mirrored in the dazzling slivers that ring the pupil, giving off the appearance of a void in the night. The grey is a fairly dark color (like the blue), almost mimicking the coloring of storm clouds moving in under the cover of darkness. One could easily get lost in the smoky depths of his eyes.
Fur
: The silvery areas of fur that give this type of wolf its name are present in generous amounts on this animal. Shiny silver stripes cover the creature from the hindquarters to the shoulders, running across his back before creeping down his sides, growing longer as they move toward his head. Another silvery stripe somewhat cuts him in half, seemingly chasing the strips from the base of his tail to the nape of his neck.
Other areas covered in this shiny fur include: his belly, neck, paws, and the tip of his tail. This silver coloring is quite unlike other wolves though as it is somewhat darker and duller than others. When hearing this from the mouth of someone, it would appear that this would destroy the amazing appearance of the type of wolf, but once they catch a look at this animal's brilliant coat that thought instantly becomes false.
The rest of his pelt is covered in a mix of lusterless grey and steel blue with a few odd, black patches. Due to the little bit of blue Voldon in his bloodlines, the slate grey areas, the back of his neck, back, legs, and tail, are mixed with a beautiful steel blue, making one more dominant than the other depending on the light. In the dancing light of a torch or hearth, the blue and grey both show up, mingling together to make an impressive image. As I said, he also has a few odd black patches and those are in the middle of his lower legs, between the blue-grey and dark silver. These patches are a few nailsbreadths long sections on the forelegs and slightly larger in the back, generally the same length.
True to the amount of wolf blood that flows through his veins, he has the bulky, long haired hide of his ancestors instead of the short haired pelt of the Voldon. His coat consists of the traditional two layers of long thick fur. In the late spring they shed the thicker, undercoat during the warm months, knowing it will grow back before the winter sets in.
Physical Build
: If I haven't already made it clear, the Voldon blood runs heavily in this animal's veins, giving it a fair few differences from other wolves. His build shows both the Mithral Wolf and the Voldon, even though most would think him full-blooded wolf at first sight. Size is the first give away that he is not pure wolf. Long legs and a powerful body reach almost a ped at the shoulder, still leaving his neck and head above that. Length and height are both, clearly part of his Voldon heritage, but it also helps that large paws runs on his wolf side as well.
In most cases he has the look of a wolf, although the wild side of these creatures is downplayed in this one as he happily submits to the constant care from his owner. True to his wolf side, he possesses the narrow chest, powerful back and long legs, corded with sinewy muscle, that propel him forward swiftly. Large, tough paws are good for moving across most terrain and apt at minimizing the effect of passing. Elbows are kept close to its ribcage and paws are angled outward slightly, so that his hind legs will fall into the forward tracks. While Steel's elbows are kept close to his ribcage, they are not kept as close as the full-blood wolf, making his already large prints larger as the back paw falls just a little off. This helps a bit when traveling, as others are less likely to follow the single, small tracks of his owner when they are accompanied by those that could belong to a small bear.
Like said above, both heritages mingle together, sometimes in the oddest ways. While he has the head of an average wolf, the muzzle is a bit more defined. While it still keeps its narrow muzzle, the jaw is clearly stronger than the ordinary wolf and the end is not as pointed. From hound to wild wolf, the inside of the mouth is still as deadly. Sharp teeth line the inside of the mouth, giving off two rather different qualities of this animal depending on the circumstances. Should his owner be in danger, it is never really a good idea to be in the line of sight of this animal and seeing the impressive row of teeth is the one thing you wish he'd spare you. Though in a good mood, they add to the pleasant, almost laughing expression on his face.
Personality/Temperament
Dath swears that he has almost human personality traits at times. He is extremely sensitive to her emotions. When she is sad, he seems to always be at her side at the right time to cheer her up or comfort her. With other emotions Steel is there to defuse or share it, whether it is anger, happiness, confusion, or something else. While he may not understand each of these human emotions, he can tell that his human needs him and sometimes he just gives her the assurance of his massive form beside her.
In general he is a rather wary creature and is slow to trust anyone other than his human or the humans he was raised around. When meeting new people he isn't aggressive, instead he is watchful, staying close to his master to protect her from harm. Lucky for him she also tends to cling to him when around new people, making it easier for him to watch over her. Though when she begins to trust people around her, he relaxes a bit, but still stays ready to protect her. When someone attempts to harm his human he is a deadly foe. Among strange animals he usually doesn't have a problem and shows little interest in them. Only those that he has been trained too hunt cause a problem, but there are few of those creatures as pets.
At most times Steel is a playful creature, always starting bouts with Dathne or carrying off something of hers to get her to play with him. In some ways he is still a pup and she believes that he will never outgrow it. Some would find it funny to see this huge wolf pouncing around like a newly introduced pup, but in confined spaces like crowded streets, buildings, and other places, it can lead to problems. Dath usually tries to avoid trouble with him at all costs, but sometimes it finds them. Even though he can be a pain at best, she still loves him and he is her traveling companion, guardian, and even family.
Blood Lines
-
Great-grandparents (Grandfather's side)
: Both full-blooded Mithral Wolves that were killed shortly after their first litter of pups was born.
-
Grandparents (Father's side)
: His grandfather was a pure Mithral Wolf that was the only member of the captured litter that lived to see adulthood. He was raised in captivity and sold to a wealthy noble man. The nobleman has a fair few hounds and one was a female blue Voldon. When this Voldon, Steel's grandmother, came into season, the wolf escaped from the confines of his kennel and impregnated the Voldon. When the pups were born, the nobleman kept one, the one that looked most like the wolf, and sold the rest when they were old enough.
-
Parents
: Steel's father was a wolf/Voldon mix, but he looked like a pure wolf. When merchant was searching for a pure Mithral that had been raised in captivity to breed with his female that was raised in captivity, the nobleman claimed that Steel's father was a pure Mithral. When the merchant found that some of his pups looked more like Voldons than wolves, he sold them off for just enough to earn back the money he had lost to the nobleman. The man was either going to sell them off at a rather low price or kill them to that he didn't have to waste money on feeding them.
Other Stuff
Belongings
: Steel has a large leather collar with his name engraved on a small steel tag. With this there is also a half-ring that is used to attach a leather leash to when they are in places where Dath feels that she needs to keep an eye on him.
Training
: As a pup he was trained like other dogs and took to it quickly as his line has known no world other than that of humans since his grandfather was captured. He was trained to hunt a number of animals on his own such as: rodents, rabbits, ferrets/weasels, wild pigs, and deer. He has also learned from experience to stay away hedgehogs, flunkies, and other quill bearing creatures, though sometimes Dath doesn't think the message got through his thick skull because he still returns to her with quills in his muzzle from time to time. When they are out on the road though, Steel will wander off on his own for a time to feed both his human and himself for the day. Most wild instincts that should have come to him as a pup and taught by the pack were taught by his human and her family. Once the lessons had begun, his mind picked at the little part of him that knew that stuff.
Voice
: At a year an three months of age, he still hasn't grown out of the puppy howl that used to wake Dath in the middle of the night, each night. He does it less often now, but she still finds her self listening to the adorable 'a roo roo roo', but not it is in the deep voice that he has developed instead of the pup's high-pitched one. True to his Voldon side, he has developed a really deep voice that this breed is partially famous for.
His owner has been known to say that his barks and howls are enough to wake the dead, when they tear her from her dreams. Though she knows that the bark would signal possible danger and a howl could mean that a wolf pack is near, or he is lonely. Either way, she doesn't mind being woken for that. A low growl is another sign from Steel, and many have compared the growl of a Voldon to the rumbling of a thunderstorm in the distance. Whimpers, yips, and short puppy barks have also been heard from this animal and most look twice, not believe that the massive, slightly menacing creature would make that sound.

When she opens up and gets to know people she is a lot of fun and enjoys joking, telling
(delete the 's')
stories, boasting, chatting, and even just sitting around enjoying the company. True, she's a hot head at best and suffering from lack of sleep or pain most days, but she finds a smile for just about everyone and can set aside those things when pleasant company most times. Those that know her best understand that she has her good and bad days like many and would never want to hurt her friends.
Strengths
One of the guys: Dath has grown up around her 'brothers' and both real and 'adopted' fathers without the influence of a woman in her life.
Guardian: A massive Mithral/Voldon mix follows her around and has played the part of her guardian since she left her home.
Wilderness Lore: When training Steel, she spent a lot of time out in the forest and land surrounding the city and learned to identify most of the
edible
plants and some plants that have healing properties.
Coin: Dath's foster brothers are the son's of a wealthy lord.
Reading and Writing: At a young age Dath was taught to read and write, side by side with her 'foster families' son. She can read fairly well and her writing is only a little bit shaky, but it is good enough for her go get a letter penned to her 'family'. While she can read signs and other things, she pretty much has only had to use this for sending letters and reading them, though this will be valuable to her later in life more than likely.
Weaknesses
One of the guys: After growing up around only men, she had become 'one of the guys'. This hinders her in many ways. Mostly the things that make this a strength for her also make
(delete the 's')
it a weakness.
Beautiful Pelt: Well, Steel is a blessing as well as a burden. He has been known to be the target of hunters due to the wonderful pelt that he keeps with him at all times. While he is her guardian, his highly decorative coat puts Dath in harms way at times and has attracted many
a wealthy
man's eye.
(Wealthy men would by from a dealer and wouldn’t see the animal in person.)
Many would pay a good deal for Steel's fur and more than a few have tried to collect that bounty, but obviously none have succeeded. These victories were not without a price though; Dath has a scar on her left shoulder from an arrow that came a little too close once and has found herself in a difficult situation more than that.
Looks: She has come to the conclusion that she is cursed. Those that just see the male clothes often believe that she is indeed male and even the honorable
ones
won't think twice about shutting her up by punching her in the mouth or getting aggressive when her outspoken nature gets the better of her. This also makes her nervous because Steel is always on the look out and an outbreak in a local area could be very bad. When people recognize her for what she is, she tends to have other problems. Unwanted attention usually comes her way, be it from men who notice that she is indeed a she or women who wonder and whisper behind her back.
Accident Prone: Dath is extremely accident prone.
Back/Sleep Problems: For some reason that befuddles her, Dath is prone to having trouble sleeping at night due to pain in her back. It takes her a while to find a sleeping position that doesn't hurt and then getting to sleep while staying in that position isn't always easy. After she finally gets to sleep, she tends to have problems staying asleep. Luckily, her back
only
bothers her when she is trying to sleep (go figure)
(I don’t understand this.)
, but this leads to troubles during the day and the lack of sleep builds up.
History
Dath's father, Caric, married at the age of twenty. Neither of her parents were ready for a child
,
but she came.
Apparently it was difficult to protect her
there
, even in her usually leggings and shirt.
She spoke to Kelder about it and he was against it at first
,
but knew he had to let get go sometime. He wished her luck and told her she would never want for anything and that she must come back to visit every once in a while. She agreed and left, Steel going with her as her new protector at Kelder's insistence. For the last five months she has been traveling and visiting any place she can reach.
Equipment
Weapons: She carries only a skinning knife for preparing food that Steel takes down. Other than that, Steel is pretty much her only other means of protection. His teeth, claws, and size make him a deadly opponent.
Belongings: A leather pack, brush for Steel, brush for herself, quill and ink, parchment, charcoal sticks, a pair of thick blankets, trail rations, small hand mirror, flint and steel, clothing, leather leash, coin pouch, and other things she picks up.
Familiar
Basics Information
Name: Steel
Gender: Male
Age: 15 months (1 year and 3 months)
(He can’t be 15 months. Puppies have to stay with their mothers for more than a month before being sold.)
Species: Canine
Breed: 3/4 Mithral Wolf - 1/4 Voldon
Appearance
Height: 2 fores, 2 palmspans, 10 nailsbreadths, and 4 grains
Length: 2 peds and 3 grains
Weight: 1 pygge, 3 hebs, 1 hafeb, 4 ods, and 7 muts
Eyes: Due to the one fourth Voldon in his bloodlines, his eyes have refused to turn the brilliant amber color that is common among wolves.
Fur: The silvery areas of fur that give this type of wolf its name are present in generous amounts on this animal.
Physical Build: If I haven't already made it clear, the Voldon blood runs heavily in this animal's veins, giving it a fair few differences from other wolves. His build shows both the Mithral Wolf and the Voldon, even though most would think him full-blooded wolf at first sight. Size is the first give away that he is not pure wolf. Long legs and a powerful body reach almost a ped at the shoulder, still leaving his
neck
and head above that.
When someone attempts to
(delete the 2nd o)
harm his human he is a deadly foe.
Blood Lines
- Great-grandparents (Grandfather's side): Both full-blooded Mithral Wolves that were killed shortly after their first litter of pups was born.
- Grandparents (Father's side): His grandfather was a pure Mithral Wolf that was the only member of the captured litter that lived to see adulthood. He was
raised
in captivity and sold to a wealthy noble man.
- Parents: Steel's father was a wolf/Voldon mix, but he looked like a pure wolf.
Other Stuff
Belongings: Steel has a large leather collar with his name engraved on a small steel tag. With this there is also a half-ring that is used to attach a leather leash to when they are in places where Dath feels that she needs to keep an eye on him.
Training: As a pup he was trained like other dogs and took to
(delete the 2nd o)
it quickly as his line has known no world other than that of humans since his grandfather was captured. He was trained to hunt a number of animals on his own such as: rodents, rabbits, ferrets/weasels, wild pigs, and deer. He has also learned from experience to stay away hedgehogs, flunkies, and other quill bearing creatures, though sometimes Dath doesn't think the message got through his thick skull
(you said he was smart in the first sentence)
because he still returns to her with quills in his muzzle from time to time. When they are out on the road though, Steel will wander off on his own for a time to feed both his human and himself for the day. Most wild instincts that should have come to him as a pup and taught by the pack were taught by his human and her family. Once the lessons had begun, his mind picked at the little part of him that knew that stuff.
Voice: At a year an three months of age, he still hasn't grown out of the puppy howl that used to wake Dath in the middle of the night, each night.
And there we go. This is a very nice CD, I love the detail you have put in the familiar section. Well done and good luck. Have a nice day.

Alright, changed the grammer errors, though there were a couple things I want to bring up. First off, pups can leave their mothers between 8 - 12 weeks. That is 2 - 3 months. At this point her familiar is 15 months old or 1 year and 3 months. I don't really see a reason that he can't be 15 months old. Second, if I wanted to use colors from the site I would of. I just had the wrong word. Lastly, if she is traveling through a city, I'm thinking that the huge dog at her side would attract attention and people in the city might see it.
Other than that all edits have been made.

And a second approval! If I may give you some advice, for when you're playing, try to pay attention to spelling/grammatical issues, I found a few of those lying around in your CD... Otherwise, have fun playing!
