The 10 Commandments of RP'ing

1. Thou shalt not play God
2. Thou shalt not solve all the problems of the universe all by yourself.
3. Thou shalt add details to your writing to keep it from being boring.
4. Thou shalt be true to the character of your character.
5. Thou shalt make sense.
6. Thou shalt not kill other characters or decide what damage they get.
7. Thou shalt be patient for other characters to post.
8. THOU SHALT NOT WRITE IN ALL CAPS AS IT IS HIGHLY ANNOYING.
9. Tho shlt nat us fels spillin n gremmmer.
10. Thou shalt not decide thy neighbour’s actions, or his wife's actions, or his ox's actions....

Guidelines
As a general rule of thumb, your post should usually be at least the size of the box you are given to type in. Include as many details as you can. This helps to provide a more realistic roleplaying experience for everyone.

If you are having trouble increasing the size of your posts, consider adding details about the surroundings.

Try to pay attention to everything happening in the tavern. This may be hard for some due to limited time. It isn't absolutely required, but is helpful if you are transitioning from one area to another. Also try to keep up with the OOC, just in case someone is trying to ask a question or something that you can help with.

If you are going to be absent, please let us know as soon as possible, and if known, how long you are going to be gone. Things can slow down for a few days, but if it is going to be an extended absence, we may need to work out a way to move you out of the direct story line, or puppet you until you return.
