Orc, Volkek-Oshra

« on: March 17, 2010, 04:40:33 AM »

Overview
In the catacombs beneath Ximax is where one would find the Volke Oshra Orcs ... or Magic Orcs. in an arm of the catacombs that reaches beneath the city of Ximax proper, is the study of one such orc, Phlegah Sphirn and her Ximax cat, Pai'Orin. This then is the story of the study and living quarters of the Crafty Spellcrafter, Phlegah Sphirn and the Phlegah Watcher, Pai'Orin.

Location of the building
The 'Catacomb Study of Phlegah Sphirn' is on the continent of Sarvonia, in Xaramon province of the Kingdom of Santharia. Phlegah's study and living quarters are located in the magic city of Ximax ... or to be more specific and precise, beneath the magic city of Ximax, in the burough known as Hallowhall. It only takes a few minutes for Phlegah to walk the short distance along the catacombs to the entry to the catacombs from near the Red Tower. Most people who are new to the catacombs would find them quite confusing to navigate without directions from Phlegah or someone else from among the Volkek-Oshra.

Description

Outdoors:
Phlegah's catacomb study and and living quarters are cut into the rock beneath Ximax city.

How many storeys are there in your house? Is your house narrow or spacey? Does your house have verandahs? Is it a square or rectangular building, or are there wings? What about the roof? What type and shape of roof is it? What colours are the walls, roof, ceilings and doors of your house?

Measurements are good to help form an idea as to how big or small your house is. If you decide to use them, please remember to use Santharian measures. A picture of your house would be a useful addition to your house to help form a visual perspective on your house. You don‘t need to count all your windows, if you have many, but if you just have one, the exact location within the wall and distance from the door is needed.

Indoors:

Rooms
Phlegah's study and living quarters consists of three rooms.

Study/Living Quarters and Workshop
The first room a visitor would come to when they enter her abode is her study, living quarters and workshop. This is a multipurpose room and is the largest of the rooms. This room has a small square well on top of it which allows sunlight and fresh air to enter her study and living quarters. In this room, Phlegah entertains guests, cooks and eats meals, works on her crafting, stuides her magic and relaxes. Pai'Orin, her Ximax Cat, also has a small basket and food and water bowl in this room.

There are a further two doors from this room that go further into her house. These doors are opposite the door that takes visitors into her house. The door to the left takes the visitor to Phlegah's bedroom, while the door to the right takes the visitor to her small and modest bathroom.

Furniture:
Describe the type, style, location, number and quality of the furniture in the house. Split it up by rooms and provide enough details so that visitors, moderators and administrators know what is available.

Special Items:
Making up items of furniture that are unique are fine provided you don't make magical mirrors, wardrobes that take you to a distant world, a time travel machine and other similar things. Any and all such items become part of the house and need to be described as being in a particular room. If you are unsure about whether something is suitable for inclusion, please ask a moderator or administrator first.

NPCs
If there are NPCs at your house, please include a brief description of them as well. Their name, appearance, occupation and personality should be sufficient.

Links
to your CD.
to your tribe(s)
to the location of the building (if possible)
to the "blueprint" of your home (if possible)

Blueprints of the building and its surrounds:
This is a nice addition to your house, but is not necessary, if you have written a good description. A simple sketch of where everything is in your house, together with a map of the lands surrounding your house, is enough.

Other Information:
When making your post, make sure that you have your character's name and their house in the subject line (ex. Claudirea's House).

Please place your contact information in the contact info thread. This applies to both home owners and guests. This is so if someone seemingly drops out, the home owner can contact them to make sure.
