ARTIFACTS
OF CAELERETH |
Caelereth holds many amazing objects called artifacts. Weapons listed as artifacts are special in some way and retain qualities that set them apart from the normal categorization of weapons. Some of them are one-of-a-kind weapons, others may have unique magical properties, and almost all of them are quite ancient. These artifacts may be highly prized and are sought after for power or prestige while other weapons are lost to the world or are merely legend. FORSAKEN
BLADE,
THE The Forsaken Blade is an ancient artifact, currently in the possession of Lord Timeras of Remusiat, a human tribe in Northern Sarvonia. This black enchanted sword is said to once have been made by the Dark Chosen Alteth, whose tormented soul is now captured in it. GIFT
OF THE
DRAGON,
THE Legends say the Twin Swords (the Gift of the Dragon and the Forsaken Blade) were created by Alteth the Tyrant, the first Eilenachian emperor, an infamous sorcerer of Northern Sarvonia. MIDNIGHT
BLADE,
THE This blade is thousands of years old and was originally wielded by the legendary Bone Queen, the ruler of the shadow elves, then later dubbed the "Midnight Blade" and used by one of the Chosen. The Midnight Blade corrupts the powers of the one who wields it so as to create greater, if more demonic, effects. Specifically the blade warps the powers of wind magic to bring chaos and torment onto the world, and slowly maddens any mortal foolish enough to attempt to use it. |

SWORD
OF MEDOC,
THE Sword carried by Medoc Ileri when he was serving as the Captain of the Guards in Voldar before the time of the Dragonstorm (1650 b.S.). An outwardly innocuous-looking weapon of utilitarian, sensible design but in truth, the sword was forged from metal mined from the deepest of dwarven mines and branded ésh-dél (magical) by the Styrá (elves). |

SWORDS
OF TWILIGHT,
THE (NIGHTBLADE
AND DAWNSWORD) Believed to be lost to the mysterious depths of the Ancythrian Sea, the Sword of Twilight is a mythical blade forged of darkness and of light. According to the myth, the spirits of the hero Eyrin Fontramonn and the villain Saban Blackcloak are sealed within the blade. In the legends, the appearance of the sword varies depending upon the motives of its wielder. Each distinct look has a separate name, the "Dawnsword" and "Nightblade”. |

SWORDS
OF FURY,
THE There are several Fury Swords based upon the more dangerous pure substances: Fire, Earth, Life, Ice, and Lightning. They are based upon the elements, with Lightning standing for Wind, and Ice for Water. The so-called Sword of Fury (without any elemental addition) has a conjured blade that appears to be a normal sword, but can charge it's substance magically at the wielder's will to any of the other types of swords. |
