Appearance. The Mogliar are small, about .7 ped tall creatures. They are walking on two feet, however, they stand hunched forward so that they appear to be only .5 ped tall. They have thick, muscular bodies that are covered in short, fine fur much like that of a mole. This fur will be one of four colors. These colors are black, brown, green, red or any combination of the above colors. Their eyes are slightly set back into their head, and are as well one of four colors: black, green, blue or silver. They have a small, roundish nose, and a tiny mouth. Inside it has a tongue which has an opening it uses to draw nutrition from tree roots. Mogliars have claws measuring about 1/9 of a ped extending from their hands.

Special Abilities. The Mogliar have superior digging skills. They use their claws to tunnel under the ground, and can use them as weapons. The Mogliar are not as stupid as most think. It is possible for them to learn certain elements of the languages of the races, and even possibly learn to use several of their tools and weapons. However, this is unlikely due to their short attention span which makes it hard for one to study these subjects for long enough periods of time to actually learn them. Of course, it has been done before which is how it is known that it is possible.

Territory. The Mogliar live in tunnels which they dig under ground. They are located in Southern Sarvonia. There is an especially large colony of them in the lands north of the Auturian Woods, the region between the Rimmerins Ring and the Mithral Mountains. However, there have been occasional sightings of Mogliar reported in North Sarvonia as well.

Habitat/Behaviour. The Mogliar tend to stay below ground, digging tunnels. They have been seen above ground, but only rarely. They are not violent, but they will attack anything which poses a threat to them.

Diet. The Mogliar get their nutrition by eating worms, bugs, and other animals which burrow deep into the ground. They also will draw nutrients from the roots of trees which run deep into the ground. However, they do not do so in a way which harms the trees, living in a symbiotic realtionship. They draw the nutrients through a staw-like tongue which does not cause harm tho the tree. Meanwhile, their excrements are very fertile causing the trees to grow easily.

Mating. The Mogliar have a very strange mating process. This creature has four different sexes. The one person to research them named the sexes Mogrim, Megrim, Fagrim, and Figrim. The difference lies in their muscular density. The Mogrim are the strongest followed by the Megrim, then the Fagrim, and finally, the weakest are Figrim. The Mogliar have a set of four genes per trait where as most have only two. Each sex contributes only one of these genes. Now, not much is really known about their mating rituals. Nobody has seen them and nobody has tried.

Origin. Some believe that these creatures come from another world, but the accepted origin is that of the only one to research them. That is that they are an evolution or mutation from a small creature which lived under ground something like a mole. However, this is just a theory and nothing is known for sure.

Researchers. There was only one important person known to research these strange creatures. She was an elf named Melia Darkchild. In fact she dissappeared when she went to North Sarvonia to investigate sightings of them. She recorded all she learned in her journals.
