Just about 4000 years of history: A little present for Arti ;)

The Age of Flight

- unknown – 5800: The Great Exodus (aka The Exodus of the Seven Tribes)
The Aestera, the Lillivear, the Evalaris, the Viaquis, the Qualaris and the Sharosar flee in desperation from the Chosen, Menemronn the Purple and wander aimlessly around Nybelmar.

- 5800 b.S: Escape from Menemronn
Several human tribes of fierce nomadic horsemen escaping Menemronn’s armies populate the lands between Therrein Nermarein, Desert Kaerath, and the Valley of Orcal. (The Aestera and the Lillivear are not part of this first immigration wave)

- 5700 b.S: The Exodus of the Aestera & the Lillivear End
The Exodus of the Aestera and the Lillivear end as the tribes arrive on the southwestern peninsula and start to settle in its tropical rainforests. The Lillivear establish their civilization south of the great mountain range, west of Rháásthár (the middle of the three gigantic rivers dividing the peninsula into four regions) while the Aestera claim the lands east of the great river.

- 5600 b.S: War between the Lillivear & the Aestera: The Age of Vehemence (The Era of Sorcery)
Ferocious battles between the Lillivear and the Aestera over Rháásthár (and thus, access to the western lands and southern jungles) exhaust both civilizations’ resources and weaken their border defenses.

The Arrival of the Krar
A substantial wave of horsemen, after a disagreement with the main horde, floods south, settling all along the western slopes. For centuries to follow, they will send massive raids against the Lillivear from their western flanks. This tribe later takes on the name “Krár”.

The Exodus of the Seven Tribes End
The rest of the seven tribes, of which both the Aestera and the Lillivear were initially part of, arrive in the southwestern peninsula. The Qualaris and the Evalaris claim the northeastern woods, the Saroshar puts down strong roots on the coastal region southeast of these woods, the Viaquis rides all across the Aesteran realm to the forests of Daeinion Maneth, and the last tribe (the Arath) journeys west across Lillivear lands to colonize the westernmost shores of the isthmus. The Arath will in time fuse with the nomadic horsemen to form the main Krathrian race.

- 5500 b.S: The Pact of the Silent Wind: The Union of the Lillivear and the Aestera & The Birth of the Twin Kingdoms
After the unremitting invasions of the surrounding kingdoms the leaders of the Aestera and the Lillivear come to the mutual conclusion that neither of their beautiful realms can withstand the incursions without help. Thus, following the marriage of Kliám and Mseríá, the Pact of the Silent Wind is signed by the two leaders and with it the Twin Kingdom is born. In a matter of months, the combined armies of the two tribes manage to drive the intruders back to the edges of the Rhsáll River.

The Departure of Sálohár the Bright & the Genesis of the Orihirim
A group of Lillivear, under the leadership of Sálohár of the Bright, refuses to be part of the Krean and set forth west to bring into being a kingdom of knowledge, discovery and equality (later forming the continent’s first working meritocracy). They align themselves with the exiled tribes for protection in return for an annual tribute of provisions. These will later shape the first three Krath empires’ astute advisor ranks. They are referenced by contemporary historians as the Orihirim.

The Mystery Tribe Heads North
For unknown reasons, one of the horsemen tribes of the Nermarein plains rides north past the desert of Kaerath. Name or characteristics of the tribe are unknown.

The Nomads of Vaenath Migrate South
Factions of nomads from Vaenath surge south into lands that will one day be called Anpagan.

5400-5000 b.S: The Era of Dawn
This age, known as the (First) Era of Dawn in western Nybelmar, marks the birth of the first Krean Empire: Orero Kreankra (‘United under the light of dawn’), the emergence of the Orihirim as a sovereign tribe, and the rise of the Krar.

~5400 b.S: Birth of the First Krean Empire: Orero Kreankra
The now united Aestera and the Lillivear from the First Krean Empire and within the century control more than half the peninsula.

~5400 b.S: Creation of the first (Orihirim) “Council of Light”
The Orihirim form their first Council of Light, a significant step towards the creation of Tar Oria.

~5200 b.S: The First “Káróth” & Incursions against Orero Kreankra
The Krar choose their first Káróth under whom all the bands unite. The Karoth begins a long chain of raids against the Krean that will persist for three hundred years.

~5100 b.S: Rise of the Káróth
The First Krean Empire loses territory to the unrelenting Krar invasions.

5000-4300 b.S: The Age of Poison
In this age the Lillivear discover how to extract the venom of the wild animals and flora found within their forests. The meticulous evolution of the poison industry for which the Krean will be renown starts.

~4900 b.S: Assassination of the Krar Chieftains – Emergence of the Black Wardens
The Krar raids are finally brought to a halt after all the clan chiefs are found dead in their command tents. The Krean use this assassination practice to keep Krar in line for another two hundred years. It is assumed that the Black Wardens and the first Krean spy network originated in this century.

~4700 b.S: The Krar Invade Tar Oria
Steered by Orero Kreankra, the Krar focus their raids on the Orihirim.

~4600 b.S: Alliance of the Orihirim & the Krar
The Orihirim convince the Krar to protect their lands against the Krean. In return they supply the nomads’ leaders with antidotes against Lillivear poisons.

~4300 b.S: Fall of Orero Kreankra (Fall of the First Krean Empire)
The First Krean Empire collapses and the Krean are forced to retreat deeper into their woods. More than a third of former Orero Kreankra territory is lost.

~4200 b.S: Birth of the 1st Krar Kingdom
With Orihirim counsel, the Krar form their first kingdom, which soon develops into an early version of the Krath Empire.

PS: I had to get these sorted out as I kept tying myself into a knot in the Rezar & architect entries. The dates became such a mess that I came close to banging my head on the wall beyond repair. And don't ask whether that is the wall or my head.  angry

Now that this tangled mess is cleared out, I can finally finish those two reserved entries!

Here come the rest!

I am presenting the timeline as posted on the Nybelmar board with a few minor corrections; formatted according to the new History Tables style.

A great thanks to Curgan & Smith for finally persuading me to commit myself to concrete dates!

The Sarvonian Age of Myths (5500-3200 bS)
(2nd part)

- 4000 BS: Rise of the Krar
*Krar influence with the assistance of the Orihirim state, Tar Oria, expands towards the farthest reaches of Lillivear territory in the west. Their threatening presence also looms over most of the Arath realm. Numerous skirmishes between the Krar and the Arath take place in this century, resulting in a constant expansion of the Krar kingdom.

The First Qualaris Councils
* The first Qualaris Councils as 2-3 city alliances surface.

- 3900 BS:
Growth of the Qualaris Councils
* The Qualaris Councils of the previous century merge and evolve into larger alliances, each now comprising around 4-5 cities.

The Krar Siege the Arath Capital
*3897: The Krar move their capitol south to lay siege to the last great bastion protecting the wealth of the Arath coastline.

The Arath Capital Falls
*3846: The Arath capitol falls.

- 3800-3700 BS: The Birth of the First Empire of Krath (I. Krath)
* This century is marked by the birth of the 1st “Krath” (from ‘Krar’ and ‘Arath’) Empire. In time the Arath within the newly formed empire once again gain control over ongoing trade and infiltrate government bodies. A new line of Arath rulers will triumph over the Krar dynasty.

- 3700-3600 BS: Rise of I. Krath under the Arath Dynasty (the Reign of the Artath Dynasty)
* The Krath Empire under the new Arath dynasty extinguished the last flame of resistance against the regime. One by one all former Arath provinces are brought under Krath rule.

- 3700 BS: Emergence of the Queenship of Evaquis
* The first Queenship of Evaquis appears.

- 3600 BS: Civil War in the Empire of Krath
* Towards the final decades of this century conflict breaks between the two tribes, resulting in the collapse of the 1st Krath Empire. The civil war ends with the definitive victory of the Arath. The defeated Krar retreat northeast up to the mountains. Several Arath kingdoms mushroom in former Krath soil.

Birth of the 3 Qualaris Kingdoms
* Further calescence between the Qualaris Councils produce three major kingdoms south of Evaquis territory in the north-eastern woods. Other than occasionally uniting against the bigger Evaquis state out of necessity, relations between these three Qualaris kingdoms are tense, often giving rise to minor wars.

- 3500 BS: The Age of Conflict (aka the “Age of Petty Differences”)

Conflict among the Viaquis
* In the south of the Peninsula, numerous Viaquis rajas battle each other for more power and land.

Conflict among the Arath
* A similar situation exists among the Arath in the west.

Krean Economy Thrives
* The Krean are very quiet in terms of military prowess in this age, avoiding any major confrontations. They do not take sides in any of the wars breaking in the outside world, preferring instead to further their trade relations with the other tribes. Their neutrality enables them to engage in business with even opposing states – not very infrequently supplying sophisticated poisons to both sides at once. Between selling vials of poison to one side and then selling their respective antidotes to the other (and then reversing the process) the Krean economy blooms. As they continue to expand their trade-empire and gain more and more control over the trade networks of the Peninsula, Twin Kingdom begins to prosper beyond imagination – much to the envy of the other tribes.

3500 BS: 1st Krean Explorers Arrive in the Plains of Zhun

- 3470 BS: War between the Viaquis & the Krean
A great war begins between jealous Viaquis states, with their eyes set on the fabled weatlth of the Krean, and the Twin Kingdom. Despite their best efforts (& most lustrous coin) the Krean cannot exploit the lack of unity among the Viaquis. Unable to set one raja against another and collapse Viaquis war-efforts from within, open war becomes too taxing on the Krean treasury, which has to hire the armies of neighbouring states to defend the southern border. Not even prodigious Krean vaults can hold against the inexhaustible population of the Viaquis. Krean economy enters a deep depression after this war, taking more than the breadth of a century to recover. Many historians say the Viaquis gathered enough loot in this war to bring about their Golden Age three centuries later.

- 3400-3300 BS: The Krar Invasion – Intervention of the Orihirim – Birth of II. Krath
* Waves of Krar armies come down on the unsuspecting Arath with crushing force. With the Orihirim operating overtly instead of manipulating from behind the scenes as usual, a horrible genocide is averted. With cajoling and where sweet words fail with force (though never lethal), intermarriage is arranged between the two tribes to avoid similar catastrophes from surfacing over ethnic grounds ever again. A new people, the Krathaszar, are born out of this rigorous effort. The Orihirim retreat into their realm, leaving only a rank of advisors with the newly-“forged” empire (II. Krath).

This is the first time the Orihirim openly display their power, remarked by many among them as the loss of their innocence. Rumours of strange creatures of energy seen amidst Orihirim ranks circulate the western reaches of the Peninsula. Oddly, the reports seem to suggest that these creatures appear to orchestrate the whole movement rather than serving the “light ones”.

Krean Request to Enter Tar Oria Denied
* The first and for a very very very long time the only Krean request to enter Tar Oria is denied. This is the drop that precipitates the Krean enmity toward the Orihirim and open the chasm between the two tribes that will outlast the millennia to come.

- 3300-3100 BS: The Golden Age of Viaquis
* These two centuries witnessed the Golden Age of Viaquis.

- 3300 BS: Expansion of II. Krath
* Krath expands eastward, claiming former Krean territory conquered by the Viaquis. The Empire has now reached the centre of the Peninsula, flanking the Krean to the north and the Viaquis to the south.

Emergence of I. Sharosar Empire
* The first Sharosar Empire, known for its severe social hierarchy, elaborate rituals and drawling architecture, emerges.

- 3300-3200 BS:
Krath vs Viaquis – Krath vs Sharosar
* War continues with the Viaquis. The Empire also engages in frequent skirmishes with its new neighbour, the Sharosar, in the east.

Twin Kingdom Blossoms (the Krean)
* With the Viaquis threat removed and Krath reopening the trade cannals, the Twin Kingdom once again prospers – this time surpassing even its former splendour. New economic allegiances with the Krath Empire, the three Qualaris kingdoms and the Evaquis are forged.

Evaquis against 2 of the Qualaris Kingdoms: “The War of the Rose”
* Towards the end of the century, war breaks between the Evaquis and two of the Qualaris kingdoms. The central kingdom remains neutral, acting as a staging point for Krean commercial envoys.

- 3200 BS: Fall of II. Krath – Birth of III. Krath (“II. Viaquis”)
* 3230: After a prolonged time of impasses (which is by far worse for the expansionist Krathaszar) Krath is forced to join forces with the Viaquis to form III. Krath – or perhaps more accurately the II. Viaquis Empire. The superiourly disciplined armies of Sharosar were also a motivating factor for the Krathaszar.

The Southern Viaquis Raja Renounces III. Krath & Declares Independence
* The southernmost raja does not accept the new Krath-Viaquis (henceforward “Krath”) coalescence and breaks away, declaring his independence as the true heir of Viaquis legacy (hereafter “Viaquis”).

- 3230-3200 BS: War Over the Trade Routes: Evalaris vs the Twin Kingdom
* A war over the trade routes breaks between the Evaquis (aka Evalaris) and the Twin Kingdom. The Krean want to move fast and put Evaquis out of action before their monopoly over trade in the Peninsula is compromised.

Krean Embargo of the Evalaris Queendom

Unification of the Qualaris
* Taking advantage of the situation, the three Qualaris kingdoms unite around the central one and declare their neutrality to avoid being caught between two giants.

Krath vs the Twin Kingdom – Krath vs Sharosar
* The strengthened Krath Empire, still intoxicated by its swelling numbers, wages war on two fronts: the Krean to the north and Sharosar to the east.

Creation of the Nightshimmer Legions: The Krean Besiege Sharosar
* The Nightshimmer Legions of the Krean (Twin Kingdom’s new weapon) engage Sharosar forces in battle to stop the flow of much-needed supplied to the Evaquis Queendom writhing under the Krean embargo. A bigger nuisance the Krean hope to weed out before it has a chance to take root is the beginning of sea-trade between Sharosar, Qualaris and Evaquis kingdoms, which might potentially short-circuit the extensive web of land-routes the Krean have been running

- 3200 BS: Victory for the Krean – The Evaquis-Sharosar Alliance Breaks Down
* Sharosar is forced to cease its alliance with Evaquis to focus on what it considers to be the great menace posed by Krath assaults – just as the Krean had planned.

High-Empress Rezar Drafts the “Treaty of Benevolence” with the Defeated Evaquis
* Instead of crushing the defeated Evaquis state under devastating terms, the Krean present a very agreeable treaty promising them partnership in peninsular trade. Twin Kingdom hopes to achieve their unwavering allegiance in the darkness of the years to come. Indeed from this point in history onwards the Krean and the Evaquis become inseparable allies.

The Qualaris Sign the Treaty of Amaris with the Victorious Krean (the “Rezarium”)
* A similar treaty is soon signed with the anxious Qualaris government.

The Withdrawal of the Orihirim & the White Advisor
* The III. Krath Empire has very few Orihirim counsellors compared to its predecessors. The Orihirim, disapproving of the Viaquis alliance (finding them too chaotic and undependable) withdraw all their advisors. They leave only the one that will later be known as “the White Advisor” for the Karoth’s personal counsel.

- 3200-3100 BS: Beginnings of Viaquis-Sharosar Naval Trade – War Between the Twin Kingdom (“Rezarium”) & Sharosar
* As anticipated, Viaquis-Sharosar sea-trade begins. Seeing the very real threat of their trade empire crumbling into pieces materialize over the horizon, Krean attacks against Sharosar intensify. The Evaquis, afraid losing a finally promising future before it even has a chance to begin, put all their power behind the Krean. It should also be born in mind that the strictly egalitarian, female-ruled Evaquis society could never have sided with the Sharosar Empire.

Alliance between the Viaquis & the Sharosar against III. Krath
* What began as free trade soon solidifies into an alliance against Krath between the Viaquis and Sharosar.

* 3190: Qualaris Maintain Neutrality
Subdued by threats from their southern neighbour, Sharosar, the Qualaris maintain their neutrality, turning down the many invitations to join the Krean-Evaquis coalition.

3180: Evalaris-Krean Alliance Invades the Qualaris Kingdom
The alliance has no choice but to move their combined army into Qualaris soil.

3170: Victory for the Evaquis-Krean Alliance: Surrendor of the Qualaris Kingdom
The thoroughly defeated Qualaris surrender.

* (III.)Krath Invasion: Loss of a southeastern Qualaris Province
Unfortunately when the Evaquis are busy with the resistance in the western regions, Krath launches an attack and burrows all the way across Sharosar to conquer one of the south-eastern Qualaris provinces. The Empire’s new neighbour in the northeast is a traumatized Evaquis.

“The Age of War” (aka “The Age of the Belligerent (III) Krath”)
3170-2970 BS

- 3170-3100 BS: War of the Trident
* Instead of attacking Evaquis and waiting for the Alliance to respond, Krath directly wages war against the Krean-Evaquis-Qualaris triangle on all three fronts.

Sharosar-Viaquis Alliance Marches into III. Krath
* The new Sharosar-Viaquis military alliance seizes this opportunity to invade Krath territory.

The Empire (III. Krath) Strikes Back
* The Empire reiterates by fuelling the conflict between Sharosar & Evaquis, diverting the resources of both away from its fronts. Krath hopes to shatter the fragile alliances before they get a chance to consolidate.

- 3170-3100 BS: “The Glory of Rezar”

- 3100 BS: The Orihirim Enlightenment

- 3000-2900 BS:
The Orihirim Seclusion
* After a disastrous attempt to share their new found knowledge and utopic ideals in order to unite the tribes and bring peace to the Peninsula, we can see the beginning of Orihirim seclusion. By the end of the century, the Orihirim will have completely isolated themselves from the outside world.

Sharosar & III. Krath: A Secret Alliance
* Sharosar and Krath secretly strike a deal. According to this, Sharosar will invade Qualaris, effectively separating the Evaquis and the Krean. Krath will then march into the isolated Twin Kingdom, whose wealth would be equally shared between the two empires.

III. Krath Betrays the Sharosar – Twin Kingdom “Joins” the Earth League
* Krath betrays Sharosar when the Krean “join” the Earth League at the end of High Queen Lílýáshn Áérálvr’s reign. In return, the Krath Empire promises to eradicate the Vaiquis threat.

- 2970-2940 BS: The Fall of the Last Viaquis Raja – Birth of IV. Krath: “The Grand Empire of Krath”
* When the last independent Viaquis raja is destroyed ten years later, the Krean agree to fully relinquish their sovereign rights. In the span of these 30 years (2970-2740) the “Earth League” formed between the Krathaszar, Krean & Viaquis transforms into the IV. Krath Empire, which now assumes the name “The Grand Empire of Earth”.

- 2940-2860 BS: Grand Empire of Krath & the Sharosar-Viaquis Alliance at blows
* Several dozen wars rage between Grand Krath and a Sharosar-Qualaris alliance.

- 2900 BS: 1st Evaquis Expedition to Zhun – Emergence of Autonomous KreankroZhunith colonies
* 1st Evaquis expedition to Zhun takes place. To prevent Evaquis from having sole command over these uncharted rich lands to the north, Krath acquiesces to the Krean’s having autonomous colonies in Zhun.

- 2900-2600 BS: Moredein Palantith Zhunith: A Mosaic
* The Plains are a mosaic of Evaquis-Zhunite and Krean-Zhunite colonies. Contrary to Krath knowledge, the two Peninsular powers coexist peacefully. An underlying feeling of comradeship still exist between the Krean and the Evaquis.

- 2800 BS: The Krean Classical Age

That's good to see, indeed... It also suggests to make an addition to the history scheme I've proposed a while ago already to make it possible to have different historical eras for other continents. While not yet implemented, this will come sooner or later.

Some comments:

- If there are different events, try to seperate them. For example: "Beginnings of Viaquis-Sharosar Naval Trade – War Between the Twin Kingdom (“Rezarium”) & Sharosar" is not an event. I cannot use it that way. While related, the war is something else than the trade. Each seperate incident that qualifies a history mentioning needs to get its own caption and its own description.

- We need to establish Nybelmarian "relevances" (see my explanator post in the "Inclusive Timeline" thread). At least now in the beginning, so I can only recommend to define relevances for these first events you've got there in a list: this means:

* which tribes should get their own table (add the race when you define tribes if applicable)
* which places should have their own tables
* which persons
* which events (e.g. longer wars)
* which kingdoms/empires
* which organizations
* to which continent part should these events be aloocated (we have East and West Nybelmar)

- Finally, once we set up own eras for continents other than Sarvonia, the best thing to make that work is to write a paragraph or two summarizing what happens in that era and why that era is called that way. This will then be displayed in the continent overview and people can related to the following events much easier as they know already what they are going to read. We have only started with that on the first ages yet (see here for example). I would keep that in the back of your mind as well.

I don't quite understand the relevance part: So under each caption, do I also include a section where I list the various tables to which that event can be added? Or?

Ideally first we need to define a list (independent from the events) of what needs to have an own history table. Everything that you define there will end up in the History menu (either under History/Tribes or Places, Kingdoms etc).

Each event needs to have such relevances allocated as I have to insert the data that way. Example:

3300 BS: Expansion of II. Krath
Krath expands eastward, claiming former Krean territory conquered by the Viaquis. The Empire has now reached the centre of the Peninsula, flanking the Krean to the north and the Viaquis to the south.

Will have relevance allocations to:
- Krath Empire
- Krean Men
- Viaquis Men
- Western Nybelmar
(and maybe more, which are not directly obvious)

Most of these allocations are very obvious (like here, where everything is pretty much mentioned in the text). Nevertheless the general list of possible relevance items first needs to be defined. You probably don't need to add allocations at each entry (if they are obvious), but at some entries there is talk about this and that, and the allocations aren't obvious. In these cases you should make them explicit.

That makes sense now -thanks! Just a quick question: Once the lists are generated and relevances defined for the first time, will the programme automatically do the allocation or will you still have to add each event manually?

I'll get on to the relevances soon.

It works somewhat semi-automatically (the program can suggest e.g. what was mentioned in the previous entries etc.), but the allocation isn't much trouble in general if the entry is clear about it or additionally needed allocations are clearly stated.

At the tribes please provide the race as well, e.g. Krean Men - are all men in this case? At locations it is advisable to add City, Village, Region etc., as Sihitara alone for example doesn't tell us much if you don't know what it stands for.

    The Age of Flight

    - unknown – 5800: The Great Exodus (aka The Exodus of the Seven Tribes)
The Aestera, the Lillivear, the Evalaris, the Viaquis, the Arath, the Qualaris and the Sharosar flee in desperation from the Chosen, Menemronn the Purple and wander aimlessly around Nybelmar.

    Relevance:
    • Menemronn the Purple
    • Tribes: Lillivear, Aestera, Evalaris(Evaquis), Viaquis, Qualaris, Sharosar, Arath, Krean

    Relevance:
    • Menemronn
    • Grand Empire of Krath

    - 5700 b.S: The Exodus of the Aestera & the Lillivear End
The Exodus of the Aestera and the Lillivear end as the tribes arrive on the southwestern peninsula and start to settle in its tropical rainforests. The Lillivear establish their civilization south of the great mountain range, west of Rháásthár (the middle of the three gigantic rivers dividing the peninsula into four regions) while the Aestera claim the lands east of the great river.

    Relevance:
    • Menemronn the Purple
    • Tribes: Lillivear, Aestera, Krean
    • Twin Kingdom

    - 5600 b.S: War between the Lillivear & the Aestera: The Age of Vehemence (The Era of Sorcery)
Ferocious battles between the Lillivear and the Aestera over Rháásthár (and thus, access to the western lands and southern jungles) exhaust both civilizations’ resources and weaken their border defenses.

    Relevance:
    • Tribes: Lillivear, Aestera, Evalaris(Evaquis), Viaquis, Qualaris, Sharosar, Arath, Krean
    • Twin Kingdom

    The Arrival of the Krar
A substantial wave of horsemen, after a disagreement with the main horde, floods south, settling all along the western slopes. For centuries to follow, they will send massive raids against the Lillivear from their western flanks. This tribe later takes on the name “Krár”.

    Relevance:
    • The Krar
    • Grand Empire of Krath
    • Tribes: Lillivear, Aestera, Evalaris(Evaquis), Viaquis, Qualaris, Sharosar, Arath, Krean
    • Twin Kingdom

    Relevance:
    • Tribes: Lillivear, Aestera, Evalaris(Evaquis), Viaquis, Qualaris, Sharosar, Arath, Krean
    • Twin Kingdom
    • Grand Empire of Krath

    - 5500 b.S: The Pact of the Silent Wind: The Union of the Lillivear and the Aestera & The Birth of the Twin Kingdom

    Relevance:
    • Tribes: Lillivear, Aestera, Evalaris(Evaquis), Viaquis, Qualaris, Sharosar, Arath, Krar, Krean
    • Twin Kingdom

The Departure of Sálohár the Bright & the Genesis of the Orihirim
A group of Lillivear, under the leadership of Sálohár of the Bright, refuses to be part of the Krean and set forth west to bring into being a kingdom of knowledge, discovery and equality (later forming the continent’s first working meritocracy). They align themselves with the exiled tribes for protection in return for an annual tribute of provisions. These will later shape the first three Krath empires’ astute advisor ranks. They are referenced by contemporary historians as the Orihirim.

    Relevance:
    • Tribes: Lillivear, Aestera, Arath, Krar, Krean, Orihirim, Krath'aszar

    Relevance:
    • Twin Kingdom

    Relevance:
    • Twin Kingdom, The City States of Zhun

    • Tribes: Krath'aszar, Krar, Arath, Orihirim, Krean, Evalaris, Qualaris, Sharosar, Viaquis

    • Grand Empire of Krath, Twin Kingdom, Tar Oria, Qualaris Confederation, Queendom of Evalaris

    • Tribes: Krath'aszar, Sharosar, Viaquis

    Twin Kingdom Blossoms (the Krean)
    * With the Viaquis threat removed and Krath reopening the trade cannals, the Twin Kingdom once again prospers – this time surpassing even its former splendour. New economic allegiances with the Krath Empire, the three Qualaris kingdoms and the Evaquis are forged.

    Relevance:
    • Twin Kingdom, Qualaris Confederation, Queendom of Evalaris
    • Tribes:  Krean, Evalaris, Qualaris

    - 3200 BS: Fall of II. Krath – Birth of III. Krath (“II. Viaquis”)
    * 3230: After a prolonged time of impasses (which is by far worse for the expansionist Krathaszar) Krath is forced to join forces with the Viaquis to form III. Krath – or perhaps more accurately the II. Viaquis Empire. The superiourly disciplined armies of Sharosar were also a motivating factor for the Krathaszar.

    Relevance:
    • Grand Empire of Krath, Twin Kingdom, Tar Oria, Qualaris Confederation, Queendom of Evalaris

    • Tribes:  Krean, Evalaris, Qualaris

Krath vs the Twin Kingdom – Krath vs Sharosar
    * The strengthened Krath Empire, still intoxicated by its swelling numbers, wages war on two fronts: the Krean to the north and Sharosar to the east.

Krean Embargo of the Evalaris Queendom continues
    Relevance:

    - 3200 BS: Victory for the Krean – The Evaquis-Sharosar Alliance Breaks Down
    * Sharosar is forced to cease its alliance with Evaquis to focus on what it considers to be the greater menace posed by Krath assaults – just as the Krean had planned.

    * 3190: Qualaris Maintain Neutrality

This looks good and perfectly integrateable this way. Very nice and helpful for me to prepare it and for others to enjoy the products of this work on site eventually :)

Can you however update the first post with the final version as we are used to do with entries? So that I know for sure what to take when preparing these tables?

I will see to make it possible to use the Nybelmarian ages at the tables on the site, requires some expansion of the tool, though.

Oh I thought one wasn't supposed to have the relevances in the actual entry posted (not to distract the readers & break the flow of events) so I included it as the "webmaster's version" below. I'll edit the first posts accordingly.

One problem with the Nybelmarian ages is that we do not have a complete list atm - so only certain periods have their specific nybelmar eras. (Note btw, that these names apply only to western nybelmar) Should the rest go under the Santharian eras?

An option would be to have the Santharian ages as the method of classification until we have the full Nybelmar list - but center eg "The Era of Dawn" in its own box-caption in the text. Similar to how I presented it in the post.

Thanks for all the technical work Arti! I hope all these manual configuration does not engender "ArtRage" ;P in you!

The ages will appear as in all other history tables, I hope that's what you mean. But how should I center "The Era of Dawn" if we shouldn't use Nybelmarian ages yet?  huh
