If you have not yet read the brainstorming of the icetribes‘ gods, please go there and read the main intro! (And use the links)

How should the Icetribe worship their gods?

Curgan has already written in which direction it should go:

The Icemen do not build temples or practice ceremonies for the major gods other than appeal rituals, when they seem menacing (during a storm for example). The Icemen carve totem poles in ice representing the animal that symbolises their individual tribe and is tattooed upon them. This way the totems establish a connection between them and the land itself. Their yearly renewal during the summer defines not only the change in seasons, but also the change in everyday life.

What has to be taken into account is that the icetribes despise magic!

Although mages are not generally welcome, several groups have been spared. However, usage of magic is punished with capital punishment.“

Happy brainstorming here as well!  :)

Hallucinations/Visions of the gods achieved through the use of some kind of 'holy' narcotics? (Idea taken from Doimo Men)

Perhaps you guys can work out something around this concept- entering mental states where they feel spiritual...

Like the Maori, I guess...

the icemen despise magic, because they can't understand it. However, the use of holy drugs and ecstacy souldn't be considered magic IMHO...

I like the visions idea(like Apolo's priestess in Delphi)! And going from the thing in the brackets I suggest the each village has it's own Wise Woman/Man who would get in "contact" with the gods within hallucinations.

Hello all! It's been a minute since I poked my nose in here. Can't remember if I ever did anything useful.

Ah, too bad that internet is so restricted in China, Ferra. Can't be much fun surfing the web that way if Big Brother's watching you... Hope you enjoy your stay nevertheless!

Hi, dear Arti and other developers!

This year I am in China and cannot use any Google services including YouTube. For this reason I stopped uploading new Nepris videos. I can also not read any comments there.

It just crossed my mind that this information might be useful to you.

Cheers
