Yes I am thinking along these lines.  Within each race (among the tribes) there would be varying degrees of advancement and between the races there would be some philosophical differences and approaches.  I don't want to give away too much yet. But if I can affectively get on paper what I have in my head I think the first draft will be a fun read.

I would keep focus on the South, in the Santharian Kingdom, as Bard mentions. I like the elven influence, too! Maybe me and Alt can have some talks about medicinal practices in the North since I think up until now, our tribes have not been described as well.

No, I would not want to live in a world without dragons, as I would not want to live in a world without magic, for that is a world without mystery, and that is a world without faith. And that, I fear, for any reasoning, conscious being, would be the cruelest trick of all.

I'd be agreeable to that, Azhira.  The whole Daughters of Choan and their influence.  I've already placed their influence in Remusia.

With the North being more...traditional, would they rely more on local healers and spirtual healing?

Keep in mind I will not be explaining the surgical practices of every tribe and race in Santharia.  There will be generalities and mentions of differences. I am sure each tribe woud have there own set of "healers" but I won't be mentioning all of them by name, not in this entry.  You will see.

Got a bug bite? Us barbarians just chop the limb off and slap a few leaves in the wound. If that don't work, you're screwed. Such is the life of a Northerner.  grin

Are Shabby and Dek the same person in my mind.  Strange.

Ah yes, forgot to point out to Shabakuk that Chapter 5 is ready for testing - will do so now!
18 May 2012, 09:35:51
I am pleased it is going well for you though Seeker ... can't wait to try it and die. :D
18 May 2012, 09:35:13
No, I didn't Seeker. :( I think it is Master Anfang who is doing the testing
18 May 2012, 08:30:42
Dek-   shoals is going very well.  Art is starting on chapter 6. A very important chapter.  Did you test chapter 5?

Waiiiiiit!   (Bard staggers back with a pile of Unfinished Projects so high her arms are trembling)  Let me stuff mine in there before you lock the room!  *looks guiltily around and snatches the Quenyss parchment off the top of the stack*

Then I say we lock the Unfinished Projects room.  If Arti ever gets in there.... big trouble. rolleyes

I'm amazed you can see the Altario projects pile considering it is dwarfed by my unfinished projects. For which I apologise.
