For those of you following the Chronicles of Seeker, you know I am on a terribly long boat ride from Osthemangar down to Southern Sarvonia to check out the dragons.  Well during this long trip I decided to paint something for Altario.  He was so accomodating to me when I was visiting the North, well I just had some inspiration and well here it is.

I didn't have an entry in mind for this since I already did one for the horse and the Remusian Entry. Obviously I reused the horse and rider. Perhaps can be used in the ice tribe entry or not at all.  I'll leave that up to the experts.

Comments are welcome, I don't mind making it better.

OOHHH!!... wonderful wonderful... :D

Where to put this, where to put this....

I love this pic.  May inspire an entry all in its own... thumbup

Great job, Seeker.  You can tell its using elements from the first pic, but the atmosphere is completely different.  He now wears the Remusian cayowl, which looks good on him.  The horse, as before, is perfect.  It now has a lonely, but dutiful feel for it, which is perfect for the Remusians.

I will do some serious thinking on this.  I may create an entry around this.

Perhaps a person's entry, but what about the actual Remusian entry?

An idea is formed.  The entry will be about a horse!  A hero horse!  :D

Seeker, I love the pose of the horse especially, though that man looks very proud also! This whole atmosphere is great!

Some proposals to add even more to this picture:

If that is to be a hero horse with its own entry, I would make its mane a bit more "royal", maybe it has a bigger mane and some adornments (Altario???) in it or whereever horses have them.

Some more blue showing here and there, maybe a blue fur on a backpack, or strengthen that blue you have, well, make that whole picture even more Remusian somehow.

For, you compete with this picture, which is a Kuglimz and has a similar pose.

The shield could show Remusiat (in blue) with the forsaken blade,  not so good to see then though, too small.

That snow, me thinks,  is a bit too dark, even for a night impression.

Maybe Altarion has some more ideas, if that is going to be a hero-horse.

Quote
The Remusian coat of arms is a backlit image of Remusiat, the Remusian capitol city, above which hangs a vertical image of the Forsaken Blade, an  ancient artifact in form of a black enchanted sword that is said to once have been made by the Dark Chosen Alteth, whose tormented soul is now captured in it. This symbol can be found on flags and banners, and both are black on a blue background. However, when this coat of arms is set on a shield or tapestry, the city is in blue, and the background is black, and the Forsaken Blade is still black, but has a thin white outline around it. - Regardless of the style used, it has the same meaning. It is a symbol that the Forsaken Blade protects the city of Remusiat specifically, and all Remusian land in general.

I believe Talia might have meant to include a link to this picture by Eratin of a Helve'tine lancer.

That looks great, Seeker! Such a proud Remusian ready to take on the world!  clap

Thanks everyone for the comments.  A Hero Horse...sounds good.  I will refrain from making changes right now....but if while developing the Hero horse entry you determine that you want to go in a direction that requires an embellishment or change to the pic I will gladly make the change.
At that point I can maybe add some more blue or mess around with the snow as Talia suggested.

Talia I preferred the original link  ;),  (certainly don't mind competing agianst myself.)

Changes or not, this is a great re-interpretation of your Remusian picture, Seeker! A wonderful idea to make something entirely new out of it, especially with such a dramatic twist, wonderful! Aura +1!

I love the dark, almost menacing portrayal here. Really gives room for a great entry interpretation by our Altario!

I hope he can live up to the picture :D  heart

I'm amazed you can see the Altario projects pile considering it is dwarfed by my unfinished projects. For which I apologise.
