Basic Overview of the Beast
Do a short description on the beast, which can be placed on top of the entry and at the general overview page: What kind of beast (category) is it? How large is it approx.? Where does it live? What are it's most important features etc. When you read the overview you should know most important things about the beast, before you've even read the whole entry.
Appearance
A detailed description of what the beast looks like. Everything from size, in peds, to bone structure. I stress the 'detailed' part, put in as much detail as possible. This doesn't mean make it as long as possible, go for quality over quantity.
If you need measures and weights in order to describe your beast, please refer to the general Measures and Weight tables.
Special Abilities
Do these creatures have any sort of special abilities? Able to withstand extreme cold, run very fast, things like that. And if they do, then how do they do this? A specific muscle structure, or extra fat layer?
Territory
Where are they found? Check out the map section, do some research on the differen't places, and make the best choice on what you find. A creature with thick fur? Probably somewhere cold. That type of thing.
Habitat/Behavior
If you were to see these creatures, what kinds of things would they be doing? Challenging the pack leader for control, or wandering by itself? Get into as much detail as you can.
Diet
What do your creatures eat? And if they eat a lot, what is their favorite food? Also make sure that what they eat can be found where they live, otherwise it just isn't practical
Mating
What are their mating behaviors or rituals? Do they mate at all? Is there maybe some sort of dance? Which gender is the aggressor usually? Again, detail.
Myth/Lore/Origin (Optional)
Do they come from anywhere special? Applicable e.g. at supernatural creatures like demons, ghosts, spirits etc.
Researchers (Optional)
Any noted researchers on these creatures?
Usages (Optional)
In case products or parts of this animal (like milk, hide etc.) have a special use, let us know who uses them, where and why.
Anything Else (Optional)
Can you think of any details to make this even better?

How about 'extremely formidable' rather than 'extremely dangerous', as few people have actually been killed? a) that solves your contradiction there b) we have enough nasty vicious dangerous monsters running around the disc already c) it provides a more scholarly approach which allows for some flexibility in your further development of the beast.
That aside, I love the name. Is there a 'Lesser Quas' as well?

One minor flaw with your design.

What? This monstrous amphibious scorpion is actually supposed to be a giant DUCK?
Is someone pulling someone's leg here?

Actually, there is no mention of this in the gopag entry so jonael said I had full developers freedom.

Anpagan Gopag
This turtle found in both the northern and southern part of the Anpagan Peninsula is a length of just over three peds long and has a diameter around one palmspan. It has sharp well curved claws are about half a palmspan long. Its beak is six times as long as its head is wide. It spends most of its time waiting to ambush small birds, mammals and lizzards and can live up to a month without food. This turtle lives to be about 800 years. Why would it have such a long lifespan? Also, I don't think that a turtle should live for eight centuries.
How about 4? And another question - assuming the lifespan in the Middle Ages was 40-60 years, how could they track the turtle's lifespan? Or even be sure it was the same turtle? A club of fanatics - like the 'Pinheads' if you've ever read the PostMaster by Terry Pretchet- have made it a hobby to mark these turtles and monitor them generation after generation - passing the 'honorable duty' (and all that nonsense) onto the new members. Or better they could sport some sort of turtle gardens behind their club - sort of creating the optimum habitat to examine the behaviour and characteristics of these creatures. Perhaps that is why we know so much about these creatures- an Anpagan merchant on one of his travels was mesmerized with the club - ya da yada yada - and upon returning to Anis-Anpagan started writing a compendium on the Gopag. This could eventually reach Santharia.
The northern and southern varieties can be distinguished by the purple spots which are the same color as the bryople moss. Once again, you've created something not necessary to the entry. You could simply say that the creature has purple spots and not create a new kind of moss. The diet of the southern Anpagan Gopag is mostly lesser quas a small flightless insectivorous bird. This bird is feasible. While the northern variety eats mostly zaniskari a wild pony like reptile. The reptile on the other hand does not seem feasible, and there is no reason for you to create it. The Anpagan Gopags are extremely effective at camouflaging themselves even when compared to other Gopags. They are even have a scent so similar to that of a tree that even kaal bloodhounds have trouble finding them. Thank you for using an existing animal! Those that can not camouflage them selves well enough are usually eaten by greater quas a large carnivorous bird with a beak so powerful it can rip through a Gopag’s armor. I'm not comfortable with this bird's name being so similar to that of the other bird, since there is quite a difference between the two. Also, try to use existing predators whenever possible.
Historians note that this type of Gopag has more documented cases of eating humans then any other Gopag. Though this may be because of the documentation done by Anpagan historians one instance recorded by Pliny records a Krath emperor being eaten by a Gopag You cannot say that a historical figure was eaten by a turtle! Reports of it eating men is one thing, it is quite another matter to say that it ate an emperor.
Ther was a group of a couple hundred men lead by the Grand-Karoth Varkov III who was called by his subjects Varkov the most magnificent greatest of all leaders the truly brilliant, but was widely known outside of his subjects as Varkov the arrogant, Varkov the dumb and Varkov the stupid idiot, amongst other names that didn’t reflect to highly upon his intelligence. In the month of Foirstar in the year ( some time during the decline of the krath empire) this group went to attack our city. Soon after entering the forest in the northern part of our penninsula the Karoth was attacked by a Gopag and killed. In the resulting confuison more men were killed by Gopags while others were thrown from their horses breaking their necks or being trampled to death of those that surrvived most were eaten by forest drake or greater quas. Of those that survived none returned home for to indicate the decision of the Grand Karoth was bad could have resulted in toture and exicution. I see no reason why you should have this paragraph. For one thing, it is not feasible for two hundred men to be eaten by turtles. Also, this paragraph does not describe the turtle in any way. Only the most important information about the turtle should be mentioned in the overview of it.
Here
is the entry in which the quas was mentioned still in development phase. It looks like this particular mention of the quas was left out of the uploaded entry because of Xera bringing too many unentried references into the mix. But the original intent was definitely for a bird.
