yep another one- FOOD of CAELERETH Overview

Greens and Vegetables Overview
Looking for a supplement to your meat dish?  Trying to find a good recipe for all those edible plants growing in your yard? Or just hoping to enjoy a healthy meal? These are the healthy side dishes and salads that make our meals so colorful.  For ease of reference we have also included recipes for mushrooms and fungi as well. If you can’t find what you are looking for please visit the Edible Plants section of the Herbarium for an exhaustive list of plants that are safe to eat.  The vegetable and mushroom recipes we currently have in the compendium are as follows:

101 THINGS TO DO WITH FUNGUS
In this wonderful book you will find…well...101 things to do with fungus.  The majority of which are edible culinary delights.  As there are far too many to list here in this overview please refer to the book and enjoy the read.

KING'S KALEFLOWER
This luxurious-looking receipt is often served at high court, and is now found on many lesser tables which attempt to demonstrate status thereby. The receipt given here is a particularly sweet version, as preferred by the current royal children of Santharia!

STUFFED CABBAGEWORT ROLLS

Imagine a leaf of cabbagewort stuffed with a filling of mincebeef, weeproot and spices all rolled up and baked to perfection.

THERGERIM CAROOT MASH
A dwarven favourite made from the popular caroot vegetable. The dwarves often eat this dish by dipping farls of their heavy bread into it.

Bard before you go too far.  We only want vegetable dishes in this particular overview (should have mentioned this) . Similar to how we only listed meat dishes in the meats overview. General edible plants and animals are covered in the Main Food Overview.   So think along those lines as you brainstorm.   Having said that, have at it.

Yes, I followed that.  The list above is my obvious starting point for seeing what's mentioned; I rarely care to do redundant work :)

I'll click on the Koeken entry, for example, because I know that it's an edible fungus (unlike Querprur's) - and then check to see if a receipt or at least a dish description is given within the entry.  If so, it will be eligible to be listed here, correct?

After I've gone through the edible plants and fungus in the reference list, I'll go through Dame Sausade's cookbook and check for any veggie dishes (though I suspect Glazed Carroots might be the extent) that can be precis'ed in a similar manner.

But I do thank you for ensuring I wasn't doing any duplicate work.... :P

Waiiiiiit!   (Bard staggers back with a pile of Unfinished Projects so high her arms are trembling)  Let me stuff mine in there before you lock the room!  *looks guiltily around and snatches the Quenyss parchment off the top of the stack*

Then I say we lock the Unfinished Projects room.  If Arti ever gets in there.... big trouble. rolleyes

I'm amazed you can see the Altario projects pile considering it is dwarfed by my unfinished projects. For which I apologise.
