Well, bug or not, this was a very tiring fight, the bees kept coming and kept coming, there was no end in sight, this was surely no sophisticated or tricky , but the longest fight by far of the whole game, I thought it would never end.

Is there an award for the most deaths in Nepris in under 5 minutes? :D

Hey Dek,

Is it the monster-rats you are currently fighting? In case you haven't seen it, I just wanted to let you know that the Nepris Walkthrough contains a useful little hint on battle strategy for that fight - it's in the last paragraph but one in the Nepris Walkthrough Part II.

I also found this a tough fight, by the way. I test-played that part of the game a few times, and I remember that the rats continued to give me trouble even after I'd had enough goes to have worked out a strategy.

Anyway, good luck! :)

Well Sordoc the Great
Is not so Great
When it comes to fights it seems

For Sordoc the Great
Was killed with hate
By Vilerats and a Bloodslimer with ease

This can't be the fate
Of Sordoc the Great
For the paxen needs his poetic muse

So Sordoc the Great
Will prove he is great
As to give up is something he'll refuse

Interesting thing I just discovered ... I thought I'd post it hidden in the event that it is meant to happen like this, so as not to give away something :)

Anyway, the RNG smiled sweetly on me ... as I survived the fight against the slimer protecting the sigil of fire without suffering a single bloody bite from it. After the fight, I accidentally found my way back into the room where I got the scroll of imp from. In that room there was another scroll of imp. So I picked it up and went on my way ... as I said, I don't know if that was meant to happen, or whether it was a bug. I just wanted to let you know.

Dek
PS I'm doing this on my Laptop, rather than my desktop so I've got 4 new character slots which is awesome :D

PPS Oooooh ... my alternate way of hiding text worked for me ... you can still see my hidden text by highlighting the red. :)

It is actually not a bug. We had no other way to handle this problem back in the days as to always create the scroll anew. The problem was simply that the scroll was gone if you used it in the fight and fled afterwards.

Today we have more possibilities and can trigger scripts if you flee from a fight. So we could handle it in a much nicer way. But it's not that of a problem because the scroll only works in this particular fight. In your case you might as well drop it, just unnecessary ballast.  :D

Another one made it through Nepris by now, Orda Nobunaga (from start to finish in 13 days - the fastest one so far...) - congrats and welcome in the role players' elite! A few more are good on their way thanks to the help of the two walkthrough parts we provided - way to go, guys!  thumbup

There is indeed a lot going on recently in Santhworld!

Congrats to Orda Nobunaga from my side as well  thumbup
Not bad at all to solve all three parts in only 13 days. Around 40 deaths isn't bad either, if you exclude An Chor from this category.

Well, lick your wounds, recover yourself, forget what you've seen and after some nightmares about liches and undead that are to come, you will be ready to meet your next challenge in the upcoming Shoals-Module!

So I'm stuck looking for Olf. I know that Kunigunde says that there's a hole, but how do I find it? Do I have to move the tombstone all the way in the north-east corner of the graveyard? And if so, how do I do that? Because Jeremy and your character aren't strong enough together.

Also, I'd really appreciate a pointer on how to find the handle for the sengren blade, because Ender says he can fix it if you bring him all the pieces. I was thinking maybe the axe handle outside the cottage in the swamp, but the top part is ruined and I can't figure out any way that it could be worked loose. I looked at the quests page and realized that I managed to give the toad the mushrooms without help, so does the person who needs the spine give you the blade handle too?

Thanks.

Ok... Let's see... *looks at the first question* Now I have to laugh heartily I fear... lol Reply below, hidden, mark the text to see.

Seriously, didn't you try to MOVE TOMBSTONE? I bet it works.

As for the Ender thingy, Reply below, hidden, mark the text to see.

What items do you actually have? You need two items, one is the SENGREN BLADE and the other one is the SENGREN HANDLE. It's not the damaged axe. And you get that handle from a character. So I assume you first need to continue with the Olf pursuit.

Thank you on the second question, that makes sense.

And I tried move tombstone. It tells me that they can only just move it a few nailsbreaths. It should be the mossy tombstone that Kunigunde lands on, right?

The second question I was wondering about partly because I was stuck on the first. Thanks again.

It's in the northeastern graveyard room. Are you sure that Olf is gone already from his initial position? What's your character name? I can load the latest savegame if I know your character name and see for myself.

My character name is Sylvi Moonshrdin. He is definitely gone. And it is in the northeastern graveyard room.

Thank you.

Ah yes, now I see the problem. Or more precisely: the solution. :) Reply below, hidden, mark the text to see.  cool

You're not strong enough apparently. I recommend some kind of magic to do the trick. There's a piece of paper in your inventory that isn't particularly helpful in a battle situation. This should do the trick here...

Ah, too bad that internet is so restricted in China, Ferra. Can't be much fun surfing the web that way if Big Brother's watching you... Hope you enjoy your stay nevertheless!

Hi, dear Arti and other developers!

This year I am in China and cannot use any Google services including YouTube. For this reason I stopped uploading new Nepris videos. I can also not read any comments there.

It just crossed my mind that this information might be useful to you.

Cheers
