There should be more letters in EPIC because that word is far too short and understated for this pic. There's beast pics, and weapon pics, and tribe pics...but an entire cityscape is breathtaking. This is second only to the Mists pic  grin

No, I would not want to live in a world without dragons, as I would not want to live in a world without magic, for that is a world without mystery, and that is a world without faith. And that, I fear, for any reasoning, conscious being, would be the cruelest trick of all.

OK here is an updated Picture.  grin

Art not sure if there is any way you can label the locations in some nifty way.  Or perhaps you can use some circle pics or smaller square pics placed next to the appropriate narrative in the description.  I dont know I am just thinking it would be nice if the reader can be pointed somehow in the right direction.  If not that is OK.

An idea for what Seeker suggested :)

Is it somehow possible to use Flash or similar to create a roll over effect on parts of Seeker's picture to bring up the name of the different landmarks contained in it. I did learn flash and director at university however it was only very introductory and a few years ago. Additionally, I don't have the software anymore.

Thanks for the updated map, Seeker! Changes look fine and the picture is breathtaking as ever, even though it's now flipped! Will be added at this weekend's update! thumbup

Labelling the various locations is definitely possible, and ideally it should be done with Flash, yup, though it will take some time to do it. So I'll put up the standard version for now and plan to tackle the Flashy stuff in the next weeks!  cool

As promised the picture on the site also now has the option to switch map labels on and off, available in the enlarged version, see here. Hope you like!

Yeah, it's Flash, so it works everywhere - that's the good thing about it if it isn't based on scripts... :)

Also now we have a template which can be used at similar epic Places pictures where we can put labels on what we see.  cool

Art I just noticed the Avathyr and Middengard gates are swapped in the labelling.  This is due to the fact I had to flip the picture.  Those labelled needed to be flipped as well.
