Hey guys. I'm fairly new to Santharia, and I've only been reading from the site for a month or so, but I figured I might try my hand at developing. Seems like it'd be fun. However, I'm not really sure where I'd fit in, but I know a lot about the ocean, the creatures who call it home, fishing techniques and boats. So, I think I could be of help with things involving that.

So... yeah. I don't know if I'll be up to this, but it's worth a shot - fantasy is fun, and what you're doing here is unique. I'd love to be part of it.  :)

Welcome Tag.  I'm sure your interests/knowledge will easily find a home here.  Lots of oceans and shorelines here.  So, Fishermen aplenty. :)

Welcome to the Dream team, Tagaloa!  cool

Can't hurt to have an expert on all things sea related... As your profile says you're on "a white, sandy beach, of Hawaii" - well, if that's what you call your home most people will definitely envy you :)

Anyway, just have a look around to see where you could fit in as Alt says. You might start with creatures, or if you'd like to delve a bit in culture, as you mention fishing techniques and boats: There's a Santharian tribe closely linked to the sea, the Avennorians, and an elven one, the Arthyron - to name just some examples. Maybe in the long run there are aspects of these guys you'd like to focus on.

At any rate: Welcome to Santharia!  :)

Thanks, guys. Yes, I have been blessed with calling Hawaii, Hawaii my home, the second greatest place behind Samoa!  grin

Anyway, I'll read around and find a nice place to start. Thanks again for the friendliness. Friendliness is always a good thing.

Hawaii, eh? Well, I've spent half of my last week drying the London rain out of my socks. But I'm not envious. Not at all.  angry

Anyway, a warm welcome from me, Tagaloa. I see that you have already started to dive into the Santharian seas and have discovered a new fish. Even a cursory glance shows me that you've done some good research to base you entry on, and I hope I soon find the time to read your text in detail.

May you enjoy yourself here!  :D

Welcome! Knowledge of the seas and oceans will fit in quite nicely here. Fishing, sailing, things like that are always an interesting thing to do.
