Sorry, guys, I'm not trying to spam the art forum!  It's just that I'm finally on winter vacation, my prime productive time...AND I got a new Wacom Intuos tablet for Christmas...

This was an experiment in perspective and a chance to once again use the new tropical plant brush which I created for the Bridge picture.

"Somewhere on a rocky isle on the outskirts of the Caelerethian disc, a clan of people long-gone laboriously stacked and carved these huge cylindrical statues, orienting them towards the rising sun..."

Spam away, Bard. :)

Love this pic.  Wish I hadn't of languished my moving tropical Lost island all last year, or I'd snatch this up for that.  Would be perfect.

Ah, regrets. cry

Fascinating... Could be our version of Easter Island, though the details are not yet clear. There is a tribe of giants mentioned in the Strata entry, which seems to have disappeared, so there are traces of a lost culture down there in tropical territory. Could be something entirely different though as well... Could even be an existing culture working on such statues... Questions, questions...

At any rate: Great inspirational pic, Judy, and your experiments with perspective and brushes clearly paid off!  thumbup (Aura will follow when I can add another one!)

Very impressive. Like Arti, I'm out of aura, and if you keep spamming us with pictures such as this, I shall remain so for some time to come.

Yeah, I would have thought that the Scattersand Shoals might be a promising location? But so would, maybe, Altario's swimming island. Are you planning further work on it, Alt?

Maybe 2012 is the year I can get stuff done.  I'll take lessons from Rayne on how to get a Team Project running smoothly. :)

I'm going to read it all today and see if that old excitement comes back and if I remember all my ideas.

I do have an Antislar Magic entry I'd like to get approved.  I need to finish entries as opposed to only starting them.

But, I really, really, want this pic..... :D

I should be delighted to have you use it - and to inspire a creative involvement of any sort!   I can promise you a matching pic of the island itself should that help.....

Are Shabby and Dek the same person in my mind.  Strange.

Ah yes, forgot to point out to Shabakuk that Chapter 5 is ready for testing - will do so now!
