Everyone needs a bit o entertainment while they travel.  Here is a common twelves dice game.

Comments Welcome.

I can already see I need to do some better work on those coins, blending and such.  Anyhow this is what I had after one evening of work.  I could probably add something else to the pic to make it more interesting.    I'll have to think about it.

Beautiful pic, Seeker.  The lighting and the wood make for a wonderfully intimate warm setting.  I can hear the crackling of a fireplace in the background, and suddenly I miss Tharoc.  Must be the coins.

One thing I noticed, however, was that the reflections of the dice in the wood are not true reflections, as they do not present a mirrored image.

Nevertheless, another aura to add to your impressive collection. :) thumbup

Perhaps some scars and stains on that extremely glossy finish?  A few bangs of a mug, and coins/dice rattling over it, and I doubt there'd be much varnish left.    I would actually love to see a knife quivering point-first beside the cup, but I think that may be another whole picture  (evil grin)....

I love the coins!  More stuff to illustrate the Currency entry, Art!

I wasn't suggesting a fireplace, just that I could hear one, from the warmth of lighting. :)

I must be looking at this from a different perspective from you, Judith.  This didn't feel so much like a tavern, but someone's home.  And in MY house, you best not be sticking daggers in my tabletop. :P

:)  These are all great suggestions.  I love it.  And Altario thanks for the detective work on those reflections.  When I placed the dice reflection I made a mental note to change up the numbers to match the reflection, but apparantly my mental note got lost somewhere.   grin

Maybe you should tack your mental notes on your forehead, Seeker... Then again that might hurt...  shocked

I see there were various suggestions already made, and I think if you work through those the pic should be perfectly fine. The coins alone are already exceptionally cool stuff in itself, it's good BTW that they are a bit uneven here and there, adds to the realism!  thumbup Reflections on the table are a nice touch as well - even though the dice seem to reflect in another reality...

A clear aura +1 for this picture as well, Seeker - another one to help us fill our overviews!  cool

Those are Baych nuts in that bowl.  We don't have a dedicated entry to Baych Nuts but they are in the desserts overview.
