Hi there,

I was just thinking about horizons, reminded of it by the poem My Country by Dorothea McKellar, actually, and wondered whether horizons exist on Santharia. Horizons on earth are due, at least in part, to the fact that the earth is round like a ball, aren't they? As Caelereth is not round like a ball, but is rather a disc, does that mean we do not have horizons in Caelereth, or do they behave differently or do they behave the same as on Earth?

This is nothing to do with an entry, just something I was curious about ;)

The horizon, presumably, would be where things go so small they were no longer distinguishable? But you're right; I can imagine from the top of a hill the view would be phenomenal.

Wow. Big thoughts.

I assume there isn't really much of a difference between Earthen and Caelerethian "horizons". Your line of sight is limited due to your predisposition of a human. So maybe you see it a bit further when you're looking down from a mountain in Caelereth, but I wouldn't really count on a huge difference.
