Before I start I must confess I'm not entirely new here, having created a character on the RPG board way back when.  Unfortunately my life caught up with me and I was forced to drop off the boards, despite occasional atempts to resume my attendence.  I hope this time will be different.

I'm not interested in any particuar subject (although the bestiary does look like fun), but I'm willing to take whatever the dev board has to offer if you'll take me.

Hello and welcome, Glásáj! wave

Good to hear that you've already some experience on the boards, at least on the RPG side, so let's hope life is good to you and you can enjoy some more time on the Dev boards now :)

Well then, just have a look around, see what catches your interest, and maybe you get an idea for an entry or two you'd like to try out, Bestiary or anything else... Nice to have you around!  thumbup

Welcome to the Development Board, Glásáj!

It's good to be open to a variety of things, especially at the start. Most newcomers start with an idea of their own - often it's a relatively easy-to-write entry, such as something for the Bestiary, the Herbarium, or the Miscellaneous Forum. But we've had people start with poems and other types of entries before. Usually the newcomer posts an idea, and members help to fit this idea into the our world.

Another way to find a beginning on this board is to take up an existing idea and work from that. For example, there is a list of bestiary entries that are in need of revision or expansion If one of these suits you, that could also provide a good place to start.

Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy yourself!

Are Shabby and Dek the same person in my mind.  Strange.

Ah yes, forgot to point out to Shabakuk that Chapter 5 is ready for testing - will do so now!

No, I didn't Seeker. :( I think it is Master Anfang who is doing the testing
