Orcish entries refer to these two as the Orcish Gods. They are also the Orcish Gods in the Warhammer World. Does that mean we should be trying to change their names to something else? Here and here are links to information to these gods. I've been a player off and on with Warhammer since the early 90's and have been aware of them as the orcish gods from that world since that time. I must admit to thinking of Warhammer everytime I see references to Gork and Mork in Caeleroth.

These gods are mostly used as background information for the orc and goblin armies in their Warhammer Tabletop Game and so forth. And there isn't as much canon information out on them as there is on some of the other gods of Warhammer eg Sigmar and Ulric.

Warhammer openly acknowledges that they put their own spin on things from other sources, their most blatant one probably being their Bretonian knights worshipping a Goddess called 'Tle Lady of the Lake'.

Anyway ... just wanted to raise that and see whether or not the Gork and Mork need to have a name change.

Hmm, I did a quick search and it seems there are only four entries that mention Gork and Mork, all of which mention them only as gods of the Orcal Kingdom, so changing the names probably isn't a problem.  The Orcal entry itself seems newer and calls them Gocal and Mor, so there there might already have been a decision to change the names, which just wasn't completed.

I would agree a name change is in order.

This definitely isn't anything we can keep on the site - so I've made the replacements as Mina suggested. The Orcal entry is done by Koldar while Gnufruk made all these other references, which didn't fit to the Orcal entry anyway. So good to see this fixed.

Changes are already applied and uploaded at the pages which mention these Gods - search engine data will be updated with the next update.

The Gorba entry seems to have updated Mork - Mor but Gork still seems to be in the entry. Thanks all for your support on getting that fixed up.
