Coming up within the next week: The next batch of fairy tales I've been working on. Here the titles and page counts for now to give you an idea:

- The Hobbit-Hole (12 pages)
- Giant Mistake (8 pages)
- Brother's Keeper (5 pages, revision of existing text "The Two Brothers")
- The Storyteller (13 pages)
- The Yearning Birch (7 pages)

Next tale I consider writing might be a bit of a horror short for a change. Maybe a very short one this time. We'll see.

Here's the first:

Tale 1/4: The Hobbit-Hole
Link: Read it in the Santharian Library
Size: 12 pages

Introduction: A royal courier stumbles across a strange oddity when travelling through halfling lands: a giant hole in the ground. Curious why it was dug, he only receives fragmentary answers, which aren't exactly what he hoped for. A circumstance that calls for an official investigation into this bizarre matter...

Next one...

Tale 2/4: Giant Mistake
Link: Read it in the Santharian Library
Size: 8 pages

Introduction: Reading books on all kinds of heroic deeds isn't enough for the youth Sanmar, rather he wants to see the world himself. Which is why the bookworm sets out and goes adventuring. Pretty soon his courage would be tested already, for a man eating giant has occupied a pass nearby - and the land is in desperate need of a hero...

Next...

Tale 3/4: The Storyteller
Link: Read it in the Santharian Library
Size: 13 pages

Introduction: An old experienced writer is confronted with a predicament he isn't used to: he fails to come up with another tale. Days and days go by until his grandson suggests to help him with writing a story. But is the imagination of a five year old enough to inspire something that is more than just a slapdash five year old's tale?

And the last one for now:

Tale 4/4: The Yearning Birch
Link: Read it in the Santharian Library
Size: 8 pages

Introduction: A birch tree growing next to a farmstead is musing about her life. Humans, she concludes are much better off than she is, for they can move around and do what they please and whenever they want, while a birch just stands still and is exposed to wind and weather. However, the longer her life last, the more she questions her initial assumptions...

Hello all! It's been a minute since I poked my nose in here. Can't remember if I ever did anything useful.

Ah, too bad that internet is so restricted in China, Ferra. Can't be much fun surfing the web that way if Big Brother's watching you... Hope you enjoy your stay nevertheless!

Hi, dear Arti and other developers!

This year I am in China and cannot use any Google services including YouTube. For this reason I stopped uploading new Nepris videos. I can also not read any comments there.

It just crossed my mind that this information might be useful to you.

Cheers

Short note: We had a bit of downtime Friday/Saturday night due to a server change. Site went online first, message boards took a while longer - now everything should be back to normal.
