GUIDELINES ON HOW TO POST PROPOSALS

This thread was made in order to harbour all kinds of proposals for stuff you find referenced on the site, which should be made into a People entry.

For example if you write an entry and mention a Researcher with a certain name, but haven't done an entry on him/her, just post the details here, so that other people can pick up the idea and work e.g. in this case on a Persons entry for the guy.

If you post something here, make sure to do it in a certain syntax, though, so that it looks for example like this:

Ethelim Herengwar, Historian
Referenced by: Artimidor
Search Link: click here.
Details: Wrote about the Orcish Wars, book "Of the Orcish Host", also describes birth of the Order of the Fallen.

- The name of the person should be in yellow and bold and his profession/function.
- Below you should write "Referenced by" so that everyone knows who has made the entry where the reference word/name is mentioned.
- The other sections should be in orange.
- Also essential is a Search Link. In order to get such a search link, click here first. Then type in what you're searching and click on Submit. - Now copy the URL from the page which appears now and use it at your post.
- At the Details section specify anything an entry should definitely contain. Not necessarily required, but helps everyone a lot to know what you mean.

Want to claim an entry for yourself? Then
click here to reserve an entry.

Master Tribell (Santharian storyteller) - ENTRY REWORK!
Referenced by: Artimidor
Search Link: There exists an old entry on Master Tribell, other references can be found here. A reference not mentioned her is the Tribell Lake on the Manthrian map BTW.
Details: Bard, narrator and storyteller and in his younger years also appreciated acrobat (ca. 1240-1315). In his later years Master Tribell settled down in New-Santhala where he became collector and original writer of hundreds of fairy-tales and other similar stories. His collected works, known today with the title "Master Tribells Miraculous Narrations", are regarded as one of the classic works of Santharian fairy-tales and every child in the whole kingdom knows most of these stories by heart as Tribell's tales have developed to an important part of the kingdom's education. Master Tribell's narrative style is simple and straight to the point which seems to be exactly the way children want to have their tales presented. Many narrators try to copy this unique style of the famous Tribell, but only few can be accounted to succeed in this endeavour.

Famous fairy-tales included in "Master Tribells Miraculous Narrations" are "The Tom Cat of Minich", "The Wandering Tree", "The Dancing Wooden Shoes", "Of Margo, the Pastry-Loving Drake", "The Snow Maiden" and many more.

Kane the Insane, Aeoliran prophet
Referenced by: Erian Melor
Search Link: not completed yet
Details: Kane was born among the Hjoria tribe on the continent of Aeruillin. He was a common laborer during his youth, but he longed to know everything about the Fae that resided in the Void. In his thirties, he was appointed as a Scribe to the Fae, and he held this position for nearly a decade. A decade later, he received a vision from the Fae that told him to make a pilgrimage across the Ysthalinth Desert. It took him several months to cross the hot sands of the Ysthalinth, but toward the end, the Fae revealed their divine purpose in the world of Caelereth to him. He was told that he should preach of the Fae to the Aeoliran tribes that had dared to turn their backs on the Fae. He wept as he was honored to have such a divine purpose and spent the last decades of his life wandering the Aeruillin continent as he preached of the Fae

The sun falls from the evening sky,
this life I cannot abide.
The eternal night draws nigh,
I seek the loving embrace of my lost bride.

Eratinalinfalah
Referenced by: Wren (unfinished entry)
Search Link: Entry was left unfinished here
Details: Eratinalinfalah, a name that must be sung, is sometimes also called Lón'eaás (lit. Protector of the Woods) or Lón'cár'ámn (lit. The Forest Muse) is one of very few pure-blooded Aellenrhim left, an elf who was desended from purely the original tribe. Said to be one of the oldest wood elves in Santharia, her prescence is said spellbinding, carefree and childlike but wise beyond ages and her eyes carry the concern of many human lifetimes.

She became a tender of the Thealon and spent much time visiting repairing and keeping the woods, but like all tenders retreated to the edges of the Forest at night and would remain there only one cycle of the moon before returning to the Bolder, to leave the forest to the Astyrhim once more. It is at the forest edges by twilight or the sun's first rays that she was glimpsed by travellers and passers by of many races.

Referenced by: Viresse

Details: Due to new specifications of the female role in orcish society elaborated by Alysse (see main Orcish Race entry) adjustments of this entry are definitely necessary.

Search Link: click here.
Details: A Helmondsshire Hobbit who aided various racial crossbreeding researchers in acquiring halfling and mullog information.

(I've been looking to start developing some entries - I have a character pending approval on the RP board - anyways, I was skimming across a resource and came across this so I'd thought I'd post it. Not sure if I was supposed to... since I it seems everyone else who has posted these things has some experience with developing...)

Hello all! It's been a minute since I poked my nose in here. Can't remember if I ever did anything useful.

Ah, too bad that internet is so restricted in China, Ferra. Can't be much fun surfing the web that way if Big Brother's watching you... Hope you enjoy your stay nevertheless!

Hi, dear Arti and other developers!

This year I am in China and cannot use any Google services including YouTube. For this reason I stopped uploading new Nepris videos. I can also not read any comments there.

It just crossed my mind that this information might be useful to you.

Cheers

Short note: We had a bit of downtime Friday/Saturday night due to a server change. Site went online first, message boards took a while longer - now everything should be back to normal.
