I propse that around the 1400's there is a small rather insignificant battle between two human tribes. I would just like to know what tribes existed at that time and where.

All the tribes you see on the site that aren't extinct were around. This battle can't be in Santharia.

What purpose would this battle serve? I ask just out of interest...

If Fire is Earth desiring to be Wind,
And Water is Wind trying to be Earth,
What then is Fire wishing to be Water?

I could use it in the history of my entries. Also it would deepen the history, adding detail. Making it more relistic.

Entries could be made about a war. It would include: The Cause - The Enemies and Allies - Important People - Location - Battles

Those would be the headings for the entries. It could be put on the History sticky as the outline for war entries. I'm sure that there were hundreds of small wars that could be put in the history section. I don't know it is just an idea. What do you think?

:lol

You can't deepen a history where nothing is in the moment. We just started to develop the history of the last 1665 or so years.

Be patient, all history things are in the flow in the moment. Maybe you can place your ideas somewhere in the not so distant history, but before Santhros, where things are developed a bit better?
But let me remind you - if you want to start with mingling with history, you have to read up a lot - and if you are unlucky, your entry has to wait, till other things are settled.

Yeah, we need to work on such issues chronologically, so battles should be part of the big timeline discussion we have to do at some point. There we'll need to define major outlines of where the big tensions between tribes are etc., but also being aware of where they originated. Creating a war somewhere somehow isn't helpful, especially if you jump around from Nybelmar to Sarvonia and Aeruillin as a developer. If you want to work on battles and historical conflicts, pick a tribe where you plan to become expert - only if you're proficient in this field, you can make sure that a war makes sense in a region at a certain time.

So when will this big ineveatable disscution take place? For the moment I can't stay in one spot. I need to try everything extensively first, before I settle down in one spot. I will most likely chose a 4 or more different subjects. So for now I cant settle. (Sorry ;)  )

No problems with different subjects, you can have as many as can handle. The thing is that these subjects should be related and contribute to something which makes sense in a larger context.

Like me making beasts and plants to make a place entry, right, Arti? ;)

Though I work on magic and the library, too, which seem to have no connection with anything else. :confused

Ah!  Then in that case, m'dear, have a kao-kao dipped carroot!

(offers Rayne a suitably yummy delicacy, a damp cloth which she will need for afters, and a cup of kafe to wash it down with)
