As I was browsing through the History section today I attemped to understand the flunecy of the history. I found it very difficult to do so.

I propose that we create a comprehensive timeline of the major events and happenings of the world. On which we would display the different wars that took place, the various empires and kingdoms that rose and fell and the tribes and their spliting and descruction.

This all of course would not fit on one single time line. It would have to be broken up into multiple time lines catogerized most likely by region.

As a seprate timeline we could list when certin things were invented, such as farseers or glass. This would make it much easier to fully understand the development of the world.

The timelines could be linked to the entries about each event or invention. But, I do not have the knowlage or expertice to take on such a project. Especially when I, myself, am confused about the history. I am simply sugesting this idea so more people can comprehend and understand the worlds history.

If you look a bit around in the different forums, you will find more than one attempt to do this timeline

I admit, this one was a bit hard to find. We have not progressed farther, but revamping the timeline started already long ago with defining the model (south sarvonian forum) (how Caelereth works from the developers view). We are stuck in the early times, but that doesn't help. One thing has to be done after the other.

I know that many attempts have been made. But all we need is a basic timeline with major evnts on them. I am confused as to what you were trying to say in the last couple sentences. If you wouldn't mind clarifying what you said Talia that would be wonderful.

Well, you have this basic timeline for Santharia in the history section. apart from Nybelmar there are no (major, if at all) others. The Nybelmarian guys are struggling to get theirs done.
What we are doing now is restructuring the timeline we have. The link I gave you is a second attempt after the defining of how the world looks like from the developers view. We can't redo the timeline short before Santhros, if we haven't done the ages which are coming earlier.
