Hey Rayne! Yeah I was sure the shape of the flower was off, do you think you could do a quick sketch or point me in the direction of a pic that shows more what you mean? And the color wasn't the one that was going to be used it was there to help show the difference between things ;)

Erm. Things are kind of crazy here. What I'll try to do is find some flower that kind of looks like it and see if I can go from there. I don't know how long that will take me, though.

If the form is right (two bigger petals on the bottom and three smaller ones on the top) it should be fine. You can make of or two of the top petals a little bigger than the others if you want, as long as the form stays true to the text.

I love the stylized, Oriental feel to it - almost like a brush drawing...  

Doesn't it need some sort of central focus - not just colour but the stamens/pistils/anthers stuff?  (tries to remember what the entry said).  Perhaps a pale lavender shading would contrast nicely (and help point the Melise's path to the nectar!)
