:o  Well, I started to work on it in February. I've only been working on it again since a week, and I rewrote most of it. So yeah...

New idea for the name: Mistfoil/Mistleaf, translated into Styrash as "pael'merin" (mist flower). Once again forgive the lack of tehtars (hey that's the Tolkien term for it, right?).

Eagerly awaiting your painting, Coren...

Great names! What about mystleaf and mistfoil?

*goes on to write some excuses:*

And you'll have to wait a long, long time... But don't worry, you'll develop a most important virtue... patience.

*add the pael'perin/mistleaf/mistfoil painting to his now-longer-than-my-arm to-do list, sighs*

Thanks for the thought and effort you've put into this everyone!

And since you said you needed 'more reagentS' (plural form)

... we do already have willows, which are strongly associated with both Wind and Grothar the Weather-Lord.

Willow leaves, with their silvery colour, ability to tremble and shiver in the wind, and medicinal ability (ok, ok, so that's mostly in the bark) would be a very appropriate and easily-obtained reagent.

I would suggest willow leaves which have been naturally dried on the tree, picked on a windy night in fall, and powdered with a pestle and mortar carved of willow.

The dried membrane of bat wings and the fresh marrow inside certain bird bones might also have possibilities, depending on the spell and the caster...

Yes, leave it to Bard Judith to come up with other great suggestions and not so common applications.  I think our magic makers make great spells but maybe sometimes they should ask us lay people for ideas on reagents.  I think combining the knowledgeable in magic with those that aren't could come up with some great mixtures and intriguing spells.

Anyway that is my worthless idea. :D

Nice idea Thuja, but that's what we're already doing in a way...

Okay, I fear development on this will have to wait until Coren finished the picture he promised, and he announced that it would be ready no sooner than around the end of October.
