this is a crop of the halfling, that's in the party. he looked best so far (I'm in a beginning stage of the picture) - I hope you like him :)     He's standing in the light of the torch, like everyone else, but he's got not much color besides that, yet..

I worked some more on the whole picture today, and replaced the halfling pic with a bigger one. still have to add some color to him. you can see the dwarf behind him.
And here are Eyrin and his friend, bard, behind him. I hope to hear from you all if his face is ok, and if not, what I should change to make him look more like .. himself :)

Quite impressive - especially for a pic still under development.
I especially like the hair and how the shadows are merging into the background.

Nice contrast! Hope you can work this out a bit!

Hello Faugar!

Looked at the pic(s) the whole day during working hours, but had no time to comment on them. But here I am, back at home, with some comments!

First of all: Great work, Faugar! Most I can see is excellent, though I can't see the whole picture currently.

The hobbit: This one's pretty close to the hobbit I had in mind. His face is drawn very well, a very typical hobbit I guess, well, maybe the hair could be a bit more curly as this is very typical of hobbits (not a completely different hairstyle, but perhaps just a few curly adjustments?). Also the expression on his face is fantastic I guess and the proportions of the feet are absolutely right. Note that this hobbit is in fact a delinquent, a criminal (though you'll never get to know the crime he committed in the whole book series), however, he is a hero, as he is the only one who survived the encounter with the Netherbeasts in Hegedorns arena at the new Chapter I of the Avaesthoría. - VERY good!

The dwarf: I see only a small part of the dwarf in the background, but what I see looks good too. Does he maybe hold an axe?

Eyrin: I'd say the lips could be a bit thinner from my point of view and the hair could probably be mad a bit longer - heroes usually have longer hair, cause they have adventures to master instead of visiting the hairdresser. Maybe the scar is also stressed a bit too much (hey, I'm searching for some small things only, cause in general I like the current outcome a lot). I can't judge where Eyrin looks exactly and where the torch is (and where the others are standing), but I guess he is holding the torch with his left and perhaps holds a sword in his right? Well, at least I would suggest something similar.

Leander: Looks maybe a bit dreamy with his mouth open in this way, looking to nowhere exactly. Maybe focusing his eyes on something would help. Suggestion: As they are going down a dar cave it is very likely that they can't see exactly where they are heading. Maybe they (Eyrin and Leander) could have some sort of... "frowning" expression when trying to look at something in the darkness which they can't make out exactly? A bit of concentration shown in their faces, maybe? Know what I mean?

Well, but in general I guess we have another Faugar masterpiece here in development:)  Many thanx!

hobbit hair - could be done I guess
dwarf - he's got an axe 'mounted'.. you know on his back now, but maybe I'll put it in his hand.
eyrin - the torch IS in his left hand, and his right hand is on the sword which is in the 'holster'. I/m not sure if ther's room for a sword in his hand, maybe a small one. would sure cast some interesting shadows.. and I was going to rework his right hand anyway.
the lips and scar stuff - no problem.
leander - I'll try ..

The way the lighting is at the moment it looks like Eyrinn is holding the torch right towards the spectator, perhaps lighting into a dark hallway or something. (Eyrinn and Leander's faces seem to have the light nearly coming from the front right side)

Keep on! The dwarf seems spectacular, too!

Bye, Koldar

Waiiiiiit!   (Bard staggers back with a pile of Unfinished Projects so high her arms are trembling)  Let me stuff mine in there before you lock the room!  *looks guiltily around and snatches the Quenyss parchment off the top of the stack*
