Oh, forgot to mention that!

Yeah, I've Photoshop 6.0 with all it's glory in vector-based graphics and lots of filters. But the trick I do with the CoA is to rerender them in a 3d-scene with 3D-Studio Max getting nice highlights a nice border which adds much to the "WOW"-effect as it rearranges the CoA on the shape of the shield.
That's the problem with Strata as some material properties had gone wrong and now it is too dark at some places.

Tip on Photoshop:
You can't imagine what the filters can do to your picture lateron! My 2d-CoA look flat, sterotype and somewhat boring, only with the filters they get the metallic and relief-like effect which make them look cool, glorious, fantastic. *is taken away* :)
Question, of course, is what do you want to accomplish?
My works are mainly big picture reworks with filters while Faugar makes real Art with it as does Artimidor.

Bye, Koldar

Dala try and find a tutorial somewhere on the web. I believe I found one on Webmonkey which covered the basic fweatures of the program. Should give you something to start with. I've already done the tutorial of Art and that one is great two. I made my friends say -wow- at the RP campaign we're playing ;)
It's all ways to start.

What I want to accomplish? Well, nothing exceptional cause I know that's hard with a beginner like me but there's this website I know, it's in Chinese, but the person did wonders with Photoshop and I wanna try to get the same effects like him/her. I'll attach a pic of her/his drawing later on. Anyhow, the problem is that when I read tutorials, it doesn't seem to make sense or it works differently when I actually do it :(  I'm not really computer savvy and despite what some pple say about you don't need to be in order to learn computer stuff, well, it's not precisely true, not in my case anyway!

Artimidor put another version of the Stratanian CoA on the site (now offical), I hope I could make the snake more visible by making the blue more visible, but it's IMO still not perfect, but I've no tricks left to enhance this thing, either. :(
If you find it still unsuitable for Strata, tell me and I'll make a sleepless night of it to get a new/ better version online.

Are Shabby and Dek the same person in my mind.  Strange.

Ah yes, forgot to point out to Shabakuk that Chapter 5 is ready for testing - will do so now!
