Just a question, Faugar: Do you consider the picture already finished or are you still working on further details (like the cobwebs)? I can see the picture as a whole at Epilogue now and I think the way the party members are positioned is pretty perfect. Don't know if you moved the bard, but at least with the crossbow in hands he looks quite ok where he stands:)  - Just keep us informed on this matter!

not to worry, my friend.. ;)
I DID move, and even resize the bard. I also moved thge dwarf a little.
And the webs and spider(s) are coming, don't worry. I'll do them just for you. But since the picture looks finished, I fugured why not put it on my gallery.
I hope I didn't forget any other things to change there, but if I did, remind me, ok?
I'm not sure how fast I'll be able to finish this one, since I'm working on an elf portrait, my sister wanted (her birthday is next week), and I've an exam coming up in 1,5 weeks, so I guess I'll have to postpone this pic a little. But who knows - I might do it earlier, we'll see.

Boooaaaah!!!

Brrrr.... I'm still shivering, Faugar! Suddenly it became tremendously cold here in my room. The spiders lurking on the ceiling are REALLY menacing, horrible, make me want to shout at Eyrin to leave the cave as fast as possible! Oh, poor Eyrin and company... This addition to the picture definitely proves that the party is not on a Sunday afternoon journey!! F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C! Every little line in this picture is great! (Except maybe the puddle could perhaps be still taken for a gap as the lines move straigth down. Don't know if this could be changed a bit, but I guess this is the only small thing which isn't completely perfect on the picture... *grin*)

And here's the direct link to it (open the link in a new window, e.g. clicking with SHIFT on IE to see it in full size):
www.freespeech.org/santha...gar/18.jpg

BTW: I see there's a full-grown spider up there to the top left. Would it be possible to finish the spider (and the bit of the web) completely  so that it can be cropped and put into the Compendium as a single beast?

And in case you've finished your final adjustments (don't know if you think you want/can change the puddle thing a bit) please send a large version of the picture through e-mail. Doesn't matter if it has 2 or 3 MB in size. I just want to have as much of the picture so that I can crop the single characters and use them at various Compendium entries.

Many thanx, Faugar! This picture is exactly what I have dreamed of:)

I'm very pleased with you being happy about the picture :)
I agree, when it comes to the puddle - I'll try to fix it later, although I tried before and failed miserably.. ;)
The spider thing - I guess it could be done - a bit more web around it, complete the legs..
about the full size pic - the tiff is ... 46 Mb :D  and the original painter file is 82 Mb.. hehe.. no mailbox THAT big, right? I'll make a nice high quality jpg for you, ok?
thanks again for your kind words!

Are Shabby and Dek the same person in my mind.  Strange.

Ah yes, forgot to point out to Shabakuk that Chapter 5 is ready for testing - will do so now!

Waiiiiiit!   (Bard staggers back with a pile of Unfinished Projects so high her arms are trembling)  Let me stuff mine in there before you lock the room!  *looks guiltily around and snatches the Quenyss parchment off the top of the stack*
