(Note: I propose as per Koldar's post under Jhulnyor that we distinguish between Netherdemons and Mage demons. Clerical and Magical demons, if you will. This would be a Mage demon.)

Meet the two Unbeings, the results of the Ecua spell Unbeing on a living thing. The first is conventional slave-type, and the second you hope not to see.

Unbeast

Overview
The Unbeast is the lesser of the two Unbeings, the victims of an Ecua spell that severs nearly all the connections something has to the world. This variety is the mindless slave of its creator, and is one of the more feared Magical Demons. Thankfully, this demon can only exist for two days.

Appearance
The Unbeast retains the appearance it had in life for all of its short existence, save two changes. The body of the victim is transformed into the darkest shade of black imaginable, while the eyes turn blood-red. It makes no sounds when moving, and weighs absolutely nothing, as far as Ximaxian experiments can tell.

Special Abilities
Unbeasts are directly linked to their masters, in the only substantial connection they retain, and can only see what their masters order them to see in terms of the connections they once knew. They are weightless, soundless, and most eerily, capable of passing through any wall or other fortification up to 2 peds in thickness; magi have theorized that anything greater posesses enough of the Earth Element's connections to repel the beast. Their greatest ability is the power to spread their condition, via exerting the effort to touch something, thus connecting the two, and having the Unsubstance of the one flow into the other. Thankfully, this variety of the Unbeing has one great weakness: they can only retain shape and will for two days before becoming an Unsphere, incapable of movement, thought, or anything but being gradually returned to the elements they were formed of.

Territory
None exist long enough to define a territory.

Diet
The Unbeast seems to gain some substance, and perhaps a small amount of additional time in its form, by spreading the Void Plague, as it is sometimes called. Other than this, no form of eating has been observed.

Behavior
At any point, an Unbeast will either be gliding eerily, doing his master's bidding, spreading the Void Plague, or simply staring blankly into space. No other behaviors have been observed.

Mating
Unless you count the quasi-reproduction of the Void Touch, Unbeasts have not been observed mating.

Undemon

Overview
One in five hundred living beings, when subjected to the spell Unbeing, will retain their minds, and will not be turned into Unspheres over time. These are the greater Unbeings, and are far more deadly than their Unbeast brethren.  Undemons are most definitely among the Jhulnyor and Sephet in terms of absolute power.

Appearance
The Undemons, unlike the Unbeasts, can take whatever forms they desire. They tend to gravitate towards titanic black-skinned, black winged, dragonlike monstrosities, with the same glowing red eyes as their brethren.

Special Abilities
Holding here. I'm getting stuck...

Xarl, I understand the distinction, but could you please post all Demons under Cosmology and Religion, not under Beasts?

It's going to be difficult enough to set up a tree-view menu for this board as it is....

For the rationalle please see further threads below; I'm too weary to repeat myself.

I'd maybe merge both kinds and explain when one turns into the other. Explaining their origin would also clear up where they belong(why do they turn black at all? Where comes the power that keeps them alive)
Such things...

Hmm... First I would suggest more creative names, you giant twit. Man that's a great word, 'twit'. Heh. Anyway, yea, the demon one doesn't seem finished, so I'll hold off until it is.

'Moh' is dark, as Koldar said, so maybe that should be worked in there. Either that or look for a Styrash word that would classify it as a kind of anti-lifeform.
