Tale 1/4: Squiddly's Silent Companion
Link: Read it in the Santharian Library (http://www.santharia.com/library/miraculous_narrations/texts/squiddlys_silent_companion.htm)
Size: 4 pages

Introduction: Little Squiddly, a fluffy fairy mouse, moves with her parents to a new barn. The thing is, she's the only little fairy mouse there. Squiddly is shy and doesn't think she's interesting enough for the other mice to let her join in their playing. That is, until her father introduces her to Squiddly's ever present companion who takes care of things in a jiffy - and that even though he's mute.

Introduction: There once took place an expedition headed by an ambitious discoverer who wanted to find new lands in the eastern seas. Back then these waters were still vastly unexplored, so there was reasonable hope to come across yet unknown landmasses and end up rich and famous thereof or get sucked into the Void if one traveled too far. Well, nobody knew for sure where the world ended and how, but the dangers of the mission were all part of the excitement of an undertaking like this.
