Title: Kaaer'dár'shín CoA

I have two versions, a lighter and a darker one. I would like a lot of criticism on this as they don't feel right. It's the Kaaer'dár'shín CoA: a plain (maybe too plain) wooden buckler with a carving of a dagger.
Lighter:
Darker:
Evil thinks not to beguile us by unveiling the terrible truth of its festering intent, but comes, instead, disguised in the diaphanous robes of virtue, wispering sweet-sounding lies intended to seduce us into the dark bed of our eternal graves.
