It does need to be a little lighter.  MY pysche doesn't have any problems with hairy naked barbarians, no indeed!:D

Nice muscle definition on the guy, very Conan. If you'd made him blond,  it could be Drogo himself! :lol

What a great set of pictures!  I love the greenery too.   Whereabouts in Santharia are the pictures located?

Another picture for my entry?  :worship   I feel special ! :D

Good point, Bard, hops are a necessity if we want beer (and we do!)

Got to run, more later,

Thank you, Art.  I'm still learning my way around.  I'll check those out and see if something catches my imagination for an entry.

BTW, are there entries that need to be redone, perhaps?  I wouldn't mind doing some editing/expanding,/rewriting entries if that's needed.

Oh, I wasn't suggesting Quellion could drop everything and do it now, Art,  I was thinking of it as a possibility a few months down the road.  I understand that Quellion is a busy artist, and given the quality of his work I'm not surprised. :clap  :clap

Again, I express my appreciation for your talents, Quellion, and hope to see more of your work, with or without Tirpans :D

This is an amazing drawing, Quellion, I'm very impressed! (hands Quellion some extra cerubels)

Maybe at some point you could put a little Tirpan horse in the front, nibbling on the bush?  Then we'd also have a picture for that entry as well...it's my first entry so I'm rather fond of it  and would love to get an illustration by such a talented artist (applies liberal amounts of butter, makes big "puppydog" eyes, tries unsuccessfully to look demure):D

@Talia:  On the plane, Judy and I worked out a rough draft of the family tree based on our discussion with you, and filled in some of the possible names for characters.  Unfortunately she, not I, has that information and she is not only bereft of the internet, but is rather ill right now (some sort of stomach flu) so may not be able to get down here to post.  Poor Bard.  I will try to pass on what I can.  Hopefully she will feel better soon and able to work on this with you.

The Nybelmar donkey proposal is now in the bestiary under "The Nybelmar Kiang".  I'll work on the plant later on, don't have time today. :)

Apologies for not getting back to you sooner, Coren, I have not been feeling very well for a few days so haven't been on line.

Re: the Orcal time line--yes, we can work on that. I need to look at what's already there.  Are you looking at just a basic history of the Orcal kingdom from its beginnings to the present? Or would this include any tribal histories before that time?
And how detailed would this be?  Presumably, since these orcs are slightly more "civilized" (than Sarvonian orcs) with even a simplistic written language, they would have a more detailed, date-accurate history, though obviously using a different dating scheme (perhaps pre-and post-Orcal?) which can then be translated into Sarvonian dates by the intrepid researchers :lol

Perhaps we can just start with Orcal and throw in a legend or two from the pre-Orcal times.  Marvin might be able to help with that, he's working on the Sarvonian orc religious beliefs.

Anyway, sorry for rambling, I'll see what we have already and then we can start elaborating on that.

I guess we should start with Orcal first and then work our way backwards once I get the Krath timeline to that stage. And do not worry about the reporting of their history - Krath likes to keep a close eye on its neighbours. So even before the Kingdom was formed Krath would have lots of details on each of the tribes (since they constantly fought and traded)

And I'm really sorry to hear that ::hug s :: get well soon dear Alysse!

Just to let you know I haven't forgotten, but I will be away from my home computer for a couple of days. By Tuesday my kids will be in school, however, which will open up some time during the day.  Hopefully Monday I can get the instant messenger thing working, and then we can work out a chat time.

Bye for now,

I have looked over your Magma Spires entry, Coren, and made some comments and suggestions.  Did you need more input on that?  I can try to help more with it if you do.  I didn't want to seem to be taking over.  I know you are probably quite busy with other things, so I just thought I'd mention it quickly here.
