1  Santharian World Development / Miscellaneous / Question on Caltharian cloth on: 23 April 2003, 02:37:00
How much would a ped of Caltharian dyed cloth be worth???

Yes I know this should be in Tribes but they told me to go here. Quote:
Not entirely sure. Try asking in either the Santharian Related forum or the Misc forum... I know little to nothing about cloth.

This idea came from 'Kit's Wilderness' the book, Just an idea, will put detail once people have commented.

Game Name
Called The Death Game, The Experience, The Game by Humans.

History: Was began by William Morth, A cremator, who wondered what death was like and if we could come back from it. Little is known about him except he invented The Coffin and gathered together a group of people to see him die. When they saw him come back from the dead they joined him and became The Dead or Morgues.

People involved-
Victim or Experiencer- The person which experiences 'death' and then comes back to life.
Reaper- The high authority  over the game, he chooses who ' dies'.
The Watchers- were the people not chosen this time and are the audience.

The uniform: All members wear Black robes but the Reaper also wears a black hood and has the Key to The Coffin around his neck. They all have there hair shaved and have bare feet.

The Coffin- the coffin looks like a normal oak coffin but when closed a vacuum underneath the coffin stucks out all the air in the coffin for 1second, this is when the person dies.

Setup
Dark Cave or Underground room lit with white candles around The Coffin in the middle of the room.

Eyes: very light snowy blond in colour, quite small and narrow in shape, good for giving people piecing glares.

Skin: very milky white and pale skin, almost transparent can see veins underneath skin very clearly.
other: thin and quite small for age works at an advantage because she is still agile so can become more unnoticed.
Clothing: white hood and cloak covering grey tunic and trousers.

Personality
She wants to be free. Her perfect place would be a cliff on a windy ridge with a stormy sea below because it is unique but beautiful. She loves Riding, Favourite animal is a horse because there gracefulness and elegance (things she doesn’t have). Her perfect house would have no windows or doors and be made of stone, so even though Sou'cald moss might grow on its surface in would still be there .
She hates tradition for example dying cloth and being called anything degrading because of her age. Hates rules and anything homely and warm.
Her Mother dying when she was 10 years old, made her see she was not meant for the life she lead, she knew she was no warrior or no house wife, she realised she was different.
She is quite a depressive and quiet person. Very sad and unhappy. A Rebel to traditions and customs. Not very trusting, scared to make friends.

History
Born in Carmalad. Lived with Mother and Father traders and makers of dyed cloth and three sisters.
6 years old, rides first horse called Avis.
10 years old, Avis dies, Starts riding Sacra.
13 years old, her mother dies from plagues, she becomes rebellious.
14 years old, while father trading with a thief. she steals the thief's dagger and runs away, later finds out she has stolen a Sliverphial.
15 years old, realises she wants to become a assassin after seeing one killing a man, seeks apprenticeship as one.

Weaknesses
She hates not being able to do things because she is too young or is female.
She can't do many things like patience and strengh. She is trying to learn though.
Terrible at being polite and is not very strong. Also hates shepherd's pie (when she was 6 yr. old, the shepherd's pie dish fell on to her, while burning hot, had blisters on face for 8 weeks) and can smell it from far away.

Strengths
She can ride a quite well horse. Like a normal Caltharian brought up she was with the skill to dye cloth. Her skills are to Rebel and become unnoticed (no will notice her so no one will see her for example stealing something or sneaking into a house). She is learning to become a assassin with her Sliverphial (has raw talent for the skill in using the weapon). Also has good skills as archer.

Possessions: one well bred horse called Sacra. Normal saddle bag containing daily essentials; Water bottle, comb, soap bar etc. One Sliverphial, her most prize possession and a wooden long bow.
