I was thinking about a bestiary entry about a dog that is attuned to finding either water deep in the sand, or else a certain barely visible plant that is a sign of water.  I figured it would be a good way for the tribes to be able to locate water while on a desert trek.  What do you think?

Amuwen, I understand the rigors of military life.  I will help in any way that I can.  If you want to assign me something to test my abilities that would be great.  I wouldn't want to take on anything substantial without it meeting your approval.

I don't know if you want me to start on a plant or animal or what.  But I do know that I will have a lot of reading ahead of me to get an understanding of what is here already.
