1741  Organization and General Discussions / Announcements and Web Design / Re: Masterwork Permission for Seeker on: 20 May 2009, 06:46:03
After much thought I have decided on my Masterwork Project.

A picture of the City Hall in the City of Elving.  This will be quite different from my other works so far and is somewhat of a challenge. Which is one reason I picked it.  I actually have to make an atmospheere of happiness and beauty, we will see if I can pull that off.

Family events have prevented me from diving in full speed.  But I just received news that the in-laws have just been dropped off at the airport. thumbup  I am back in business.  I have already begun the pic and will post in the artist forum when it is ready.  I hope in a week or so.

P.S. I am eyeing the Chyrakisth Orc for a pic later on.  I scare myself just thinking about it.

A handful with a multimillion dollar contract isn't bad.  Get you lawyers quick Mommy and Daddy.
At least that is how it works here in America.

She is great!

By the way Art.   I love the additions you made on the Slimer Creature.  It was fun to see how you incorporated the suggestions.    Judy those slimer pictures are great!  Very fun stuff.

Thanks Garret.  Good luck with all going on in your life.  I will bug Thar.  It appears from his recent posts that he has been spending his time watching Britains Got Talent.  *Seeker imagines a big green monster sitting on the couch with a remote control* hehe

This is a bit confusing so let me clarify.

Garrett is working on two Warg entries.

1) Rhom-Oc Warg- Which is what the warg in this picture will be. I will provide it in the pic as part of Gouran and will provide it standalone as well.  since it is on a separate layer.  This is the one I would like to finish up now even though the description is not complete.

2) Hellhound- I offered to create that pic as a standalone pic once the entry is created.  I have not worked on that pic yet.

Hey guys,

I would like to finish up this picture of Gouran including the warg and both Orcs.

I have been waiting for Garret to provide a description of a new Rhom Warg because we determined it would be the best fit.  However, Garret , bless her heart, seems to be swamped with school finals and then she will be gone for the summer.  *Seeker gives a nod of approval to Garret for having priorities straight*

Do you guys feel comfortable opening this pic back up for comments and then I can make final changes as is.  I would like to get this finished and posted.  If Garrett provides the Rhom Warg update soon I will make changes.  Otherwise I can always make the changes later and have it reposted.  Then there is no pressure on her.

I am assuming it is the portrait posted on Dec 4 2008 in the artist forum.

She seems to fit the Kayrrhem Elf profile.  That entry could use a pic.

I made the final edits I think.  Sharpened the background and blurred the horizon.

Blarrowable I hope.

I seriously need to look into getting me one of these things.  I am tired of painting with my mouse.   However prices on these things are not cheap.  Is bigger better when it comes to tablets?
1752  Santharian World Development / Santharian Artists Workshop and Resources / Re: Elven Lass with Coa'Coa on: 14 May 2009, 23:00:48
I agree with those compliments.  I specifically love the dove, very well done, I look forward to seeing it posted in the bestiary.  I also like the feel of the picture, very innocent, happy, .... elfy.

An area of suggestions deals with anatomy.  It appears her neck is a bit too thick for her frame.  I think the problem is that her right shoulder molds directly into the neck.  She is missing her trapezius muscle (muscle in between the shoulder and neck).  Not that we want her to be a body builder but a soft trap muscle and a thinner neck I think may help.

Overall, very well done. clap2

Hehe  We could add a tag line  "Got Blood" .   (Reference to a Got Milk promotion for those of you who do not get that advertisement in your countries.)

Actually I put the blood drip because of this line in the entry.  " As such, most of his portrayals have red as poignant motifs, some even choosing to show droplets trickling from his lips."

Art I understand.  And quite frankly agree with that idea.

I will consider placing it somewhere in my queque and color it digitally.   Maybe sometime this summer.  Does anyone feel there is a specific entry this would fit in?  That would help me determine what colors I will be using.

Welcome back Aurora.  How long has it been since you have been in Santharia? I am relatively new here so I look forward to seeing what you create here.
