Welcome Pataabi! I'm checking the site almost every day to see if anyone is active. I will take a look at your Starstem entry. Maybe you can be the catalyst to liven things up. Looking forward to what you have to offer. New plants are always welcome.
Well Dirath welcome to the dream. It is always exciting to have a newcomer. I joined Santharia a few years ago and I quite love it. Sadly there has not been much activity as of late but there is always time to turn that around.
Great to have you. Look forward to what you come up with first. Let us know if you have any questions or need help getting started. Oh and always feel free to comment on other's postings.
Searching far and wide for all my friends in Santharia. Perhaps they are vacationing in the grand City of Salsair. I can only hope that some of them can be found before this world falls prey to the denizens of the Netherworld.
Comments Welcome!
I provided a labelled version so you can tell which sections of the city are intended to be shown. Got most of it in, however I couldn't seem to fit in the Sunken City unfortunately.
Art, as for me this type of story goes way over my head. As I read the story I feel like a 5 year old trying to read Dante's Divine Comedy. However it is quite possible you are going to be next Dante. So I guess the takeaway is simple. Just because a five year old mind doesn't get it, doesn't mean you should stop writing classics and start writing Dr Seuss. Keep up the complicated work. I will leave the intellectual critique to the more sophisticated minds.
I agree with Altario. Not a race but a beastiary entry of some sort would be more appropriate. As far as a picture. We will have to wait and see. You never know what strikes an artists fancy. I'll say this much though, I am going to lean towards drawing entries for those that are active on the site.
Altario. So I am ready to tackle your temple in salsair. I even built one in my minecraft world for perspective. However an important question. Would you prefer a picture of just the temple or a picture of the city of salsair that includes the temple. A picture like I did for marduran or milkengrad.
Exmortis don't forget the following sections. While they are optional as noted, a creature like this must have some myth or lore surrounding them. Usages on the other hand, perhaps there is no known use of this creature. Unless the brave explorers of the mist catch them and place them in glass jars in order to have light in the mist.
Myth/Lore/Origin (Optional) Do they come from anywhere special? Applicable e.g. at supernatural creatures like demons, ghosts, spirits etc.
Usages (Optional) In case products or parts of this animal (like milk, hide etc.) have a special use, let us know who uses them, where and why.
*As Seeker walks back into the Santharian Kingdom he notices something laying on the ground in the forest. He looks around. Noting that he is alone he bends down and picks up the object. Hmm, a Rev'oq dagger. Seeker wonders to himself, how such a weapon got here. He places the dagger in his pack and continues on his journey towards Salsair.*
Merin, I always love to see a new weapon developed. Altario gave you a good set of comments to start with. Once you address his comments lets see where the entry is and go from there. Looking forward to what you come up with to really flesh out this entry.
*Seeker steps back with a confused look on his face. The Remusian always came off as a hard embattled warrior of the north. Perhaps there is more to him than meets the eye.*
Foiron, the temple to the SunGod. Intriguing, I will log that one away for the future. I'll need to put a good amount of thought in that one. For now I think I will start with something more simple like the Revoq dagger. Good day Koroch-Fey rider.
*Seeker quickly turns and walks away in hopes of avoiding another awkward moment.*
