Well Sordoc the Great
Is not so Great
When it comes to fights it seems

For Sordoc the Great
Was killed with hate
By Vilerats and a Bloodslimer with ease

This can't be the fate
Of Sordoc the Great
For the paxen needs his poetic muse

So Sordoc the Great
Will prove he is great
As to give up is something he'll refuse

Sordoc the Great is pleased that Rayne has given Sordoc the Great the acknowledgement that Sordoc the Great deserves. After all, Sordoc the Great was revealed by Rayne, the sorceress, the magi, the brilliant one, the not-so-great-as-Sordoc-the-Great one as being the true hero of her adventure retelling. What would have happened is Sordoc the Great was not along to enthrall, entertain and save the day with his songs, music, interpretive dances, one man plays and lectures? Well, Caelereth would be without some of their mightiest magi and also be without the knowledge of the Paxen that only Sordoc the Great can provide ... and now, for your reading pleasure ... a poem penned by Sordoc the Great in but a few seconds, which you can tell as it isn't up to the usual standards that Sordoc the Great's fans expect from the Greatness that is Sordoc the Great

Sordoc the Great is very mighty
even though
Sordoc the Great isn't very fighty
and so
Sordoc the Great is very writey
'cause ya'know
Sordoc the Great isn't very bitey

Thank you

Sordoc the Great adores the Paxen ... in a non romantic way!
4  Organization and General Discussions / Announcements and Web Design / Re: Membership Inaugeration Party for Deklitch - all welcome on: 18 April 2011, 15:55:10
Sordoc the Great had been walking aimlessly around the village of Naurooth in the lands of the Kuglimz when he had overheard a messenger for the Compendium in the Banshee's Crest talking about the fact that Deklitch Hardin had finished his masterwork and that Compendiumists were heading north to Silven. Silven! Sordoc the Great had heard of Silven, but he didn't know that Deklitch Hardin lived there. Sordoc the Great was proud of Deklitch Hardin and Sordoc the Great had a special gift for Deklitch Hardin, that would help Deklitch Hardin know that Sordoc the Great wanted to see that Deklitch Hardin achieved what he should achieve. Sordoc the Great thought that no doubt Artimidor would be there, and that the Sage would be wanting some of Sordoc the Great's works to put into the Compendium.

Sordoc the Great, of course, would also make sure that Sordoc the Great was appropriately compensated for the Compendium using his works, especially those which were already used by the Compendium without the permission of Sordoc the Great. Sordoc the Great would also be keen to find out from Artimidor why more of Sordoc the Great's works were not included in the Compendium, particularly the ones that Sordoc the Great had given to Deklitch Hardin to get put into the Compendium.

Sordoc the Great approached the messengers and said, "where is Master Hardin having his membership into the Compendium confirmed?"

Sordoc the Great was looked at by the two messengers and asked, "who are you and why do you want to know."

"A close and dear friend of Deklitch Hardin. Sor ..." he cut that off, and forced himself to say "... I have a gift for Deklitch Hardin and want to offer Sor ..." he cut that off again, and said, "my congratulations to him."

Sordoc the Great was proud of Sordoc the Great's ability to not speak about Sordoc the Great in the third person.

"It is open to people associated with the Compendium, no one else," Sordoc the Great was told by the messenger, "Sorry sir."

Sordoc the Great sighed and said, "thank you for your help."

Sordoc the Great was distraught, Sordoc the Great was sad, Sordoc the Great was upset ... then, Sordoc the Great heard a sailor bragging that he had taken Artimidor, Master Sage to Silven, and Sordoc the Great's heart skipped a beat. Sordoc the Great was uplifted and Sordoc the Great was filled with cheer. Sordoc the Great went to the Sailor and said, "Sordoc the Great requires passage on your ship to Silven. Sordoc the Great needs to go right away.

Sordoc the Great was looked at by the sailor and was told a price that was equivalent to 5 silverbards. Sordoc the Great felt that was too much, but Sordoc the Great wanted to be there to support and honour Sordoc the Great's greatest supporter, Deklitch Hardin when he was inducted into the Compendium. No doubt, Deklitch Hardin would thank Sordoc the Great for being there, and apologise for all the hurtful things that Deklitch Hardin said to Sordoc the Great over the past few years. Sordoc the Great would thank Deklitch Hardin for that, and offer him a gift worthy of Sordoc the Great.

Sordoc the Great paid the captain his price and the Captain set off at once to take Sordoc the Great to Silven. That trip was dreadful for Sordoc the Great! Sordoc the Great was so sick, Sordoc the Great couldn't entertain the crew of the ship with his songs, poems and interpretive dances. The boat put into the port at Silven and Sordoc the Great was happy to be on shore again. This city was different to other cities of the elves, especially the city of Elving where a malise one stung Sordoc the Great on the nose. Sordoc the Great couldn't find the house of Deklitch Hardin, and the elves wouldn't tell him. Then ... at a distance, Sordoc the Great saw a short little fellow, a dwarf ... no a gnome ... and Sordoc the Great recognised him as one of the Compendiumists that Deklitch Hardin talked about often ... Shabakuk Zebprois Anfang! Sordoc the Great was happy, he found someone who would know where Deklitch Hardin lived ... and so Sordoc the Great followed the gnome at a distance ... Sordoc the Great was still feeling unwell ... and so didn't want to get too close to the gnome or speak too much.

Sordoc the Great followed the gnome to a house on the outskirts of Silven, on the cliffs outside the seaport and watched as the gnome entered. Sordoc the Great followed not long after, and looked around, and saw various people, some he knew, and some he didn't.

Sordoc the Great waited for Dekltich Hardin to look up and see Sordoc the Great. Sordoc the Great was certain that the young man would be thrilled to see Sordoc the Great, and Sordoc the Great smiled at Deklitch Hardin when he looked at Sordoc the Great.

Greetings, Culture Lovers!

Sordoc the Great would be more than willing to provide details of his interpretive dances of the mating rituals and practices of the great beasts of Northern Sarvonia. Sordoc the Great would further be more than willing to provide even more of Sordoc the Great's most beloved and respected works to complement such a noble undertaking.

Tis I, Sordoc the Great, here to provide Sordoc the Great's expert advice on your entry. Sordoc the Great has drawings of the Ulgaroth in their mating practice, but they are for Sordoc the Great's own private viewing, and not for publication. Sordoc the Great never uses pronouns when talking or writing about Sordoc the Great, and so in place of I, he, me etc Sordoc the Great would always write Sordoc the Great.

Sordoc the Great shall be back ... Sordoc the Great needs to present an interpretive dance on the mating practices of the Fujin Riding Cat to Sordoc the Great's many many fans. But Sordoc the Great shall be back.

Sordoc the Great has only one friend in the entire disk of Caelereth, that is Deklitch Hardin! Sordoc the Great will write to Deklitch Hardin and demand that Deklitch writes an introduction to Sordoc the Great's poem to celebrate the greatness that is Sordoc the Great.
8  Santharian World Development / The Santharian Library / Re: Daerdhum's Lament/ Song of the Antislar on: 12 June 2010, 11:57:22
Sordoc the Great would be happy to share the Greatness that is Sordoc the Great in such an undertaking as this as it will enable Sordoc the Great to pass some of Sordoc the Great's greatness onto the good folk in the Library of the Compendium.

Sordoc the Great would therefore demonstrate the greatness that Sordoc the Great possesses.

Many thanks

And you thought his previous efforts were bad ...

All paxen have horns that are long and sharp
Sordoc the Great will tell you why as Sordoc the Great's friend,
The reason their horns are long and sharp
Their tails are on the other end!
The other end! The other end!
Their tails are on the other end!

All paxen do a dance when they ma-ate
Sordoc the Great will tell you why as Sordoc the Great's friend,
The reason they do a dance when they ma-ate
They want Sordoc the Great to dance back!
To dance back! To dance back!
They want Sordoc the Great to dance back!

All paxen are adored by Sordoc the Great
Sordoc the Great will tell you how as Sordoc the Great's friend,
The way they are adored by Sordoc the Great
Is in a way that is totally non-romantic!
romantic! romantic!
Is in away that is totally non-romantic!

All paxen live in the far n-orth
Sordoc the Great will tell you why as Sordoc the Great's friend,
The reason they live in the far north
Is because their coats are too warm for the south!
For the south! For the south!
Is because their coats are too warm for the south!

Sordoc the Great, interpretive dancer, poet extraordinaire and expert on all things Paxen was recently invited by Master Goldenshield of Remusia to present one of Sordoc the Great's works at the Third Annual Black Tie Event. Sordoc the Great is proud to present this work entitled "Sordoc the Great is the Greatest" and would remind everyone that Sordoc the Great truly is the Greatest at what Sordoc the Great does.

"High on a hill was Sordoc the Great
Looking for Paxen both night and day
Loud was the voice of Sordoc the Great
Looking for Paxen through both night and day

Folks in Remusiat that was quite remote heard
"I do adore the Paxen both at night and day"
Lusty and clear from Sordoc the Great's throat heard
"Non romantically right throughout the day"

I do adore the Paxen, I do adore the Paxen
I do adore the Paxen, though in a non romantic way,

A herder of the Wison from the iceland coast heard
"I do adore the Paxen both at night and day"
Soldiers in the army fighting off the orcs heard
"Non romantically right throughout the day"

Paxen in the midst of Tauromancy heard
"I do adore the Paxen both at night and day"
Paxen defending their young from poachers heard
"Non romantically right throughout the day"

One little calf away from her herd heard
"I do adore the Paxen both at night and day"
She yodeled back and Sordoc the Great heard
"We adore Sordoc the Great each and every day"

"Sordoc, Sordoc the Great heard,
Sordoc, Sordoc the Great heard,
Sordoc, Sordoc the Great heard,
You are truly great and grand!"

Sordoc the Great down in New Santhalon heard,
"You are a pest, now just go away,"
Sordoc was startled that from Deklitch he heard,
"You are a pest, in every way and on every day,"

Sordoc the Great is the greatest,
Sordoc the Great is the grandest,
Sordoc the Great is the bestest,
Sordoc the Great loves the Paxen in a non-romantic way."

Sordoc the Great will not dignify such wanton disregard for the poor individual so poorly described in this 'song'. Sordoc the Great would rather spend his time gazing fondly (but totally non romantically) at the Great Paxen that populate the northern regions of Sarvonia.

However, as Master Tharoc is clearly a Sordoc the Great fan, Sordoc the Great will attempt to lower his great standards to meet the challenge thus presented.

She travelled up north with Sordoc the Great,
To join him in watching the great paxen mate,
And she said to Sordoc as the paxen went beyond count,
"Do you think that there's a paxen I could use as a mount?"

Think of the possibilities for Sordoc the Great to express the greatness that is Sordoc the Great in one of these stories.

Sordoc the Great is pleased that Tharoc Wargrider is a fan of Sordoc the Great's work, however, this is more than simply 'good'! It is brilliant, outstanding, amazing, excellent, cracking, bully, fantastic, and so forth and so on, much like Sordoc the Great.
14  Santharian World Development / The Santharian Library / Sordoc, Oh Sordoc, Oh Sordoc on: 09 February 2010, 22:47:15
A hand written note by the author ...

Sordoc the Great presents the following little number, as a result of a comment he received from one Tharoc Wargrider. Tharoc Wargrider shared a poem he had received from some awful fellow who wrote poems that were most disgusting and vile. Sordoc the Great's pure ears were burned for ever after reading the lyrics of 'We heard what she said ...', such vileness in the language used, but Sordoc the Great must admit that the tune was catchy.

Sordoc the Great was moved to write a poem commemorating Sordoc the Great's first ever meeting with Deklitch Hardin. Sordoc the Great is still waiting for Master Hardin to apologise to Sordoc the Great for besmirching Sordoc the Great's good name. But Sordoc the Great is big enough to forgive Deklitch Hardin for the cruel and hurtful things that Deklitch Hardin said to Sordoc the Great in this encounter, as Deklitch Hardin was only a kid at that time, and didn't know how to properly respond to Sordoc the Great's greatness.

This poem can be performed wherever quality works are performed, and requires two people, one person attempting to live up to the greatness that is Sordoc the Great, as difficult as that will be, and the second person taking on the part of Deklitch Hardin. Despite the discussion of 'kicking Sordoc's rump' in the poem, no physical violence takes place during the poem's performance. Sordoc does suggest that the performers attempt to perform an interpretive dance of the action (minus the rump kicking) to fully entertain the audience. I'm sure you'll grow in your fondness and appreciation of the works of Sordoc the Great after experiencing this poem in a live performance.

On a tree stump by a river, Sordoc spotted a guy,
Crying, "Sordoc, oh Sordoc, oh Sordoc"
And Sordoc said to him, "Young fellow, why do you sigh?
Crying 'Sordoc, oh Sordoc, oh Sordoc?'"
"Are you moved by Sordoc's poems about Paxen," Sordoc cried
"Or do Sordoc's interpretive dances warm you deeply inside?"
With a shake of his red haired head, he sadly replied,
"Oh, Sordoc, oh Sordoc, oh Sordoc!"

He cried all aloud, as he sat on that stump,
Singing, "Sordoc, Oh Sordoc, Oh Sordoc"
"When I think of those poems, I want to kick the rump,
Of, Sordoc, of Sordoc, of Sordoc"
Sordoc paled at that and Sordoc didn't dare dance
Sordoc felt a lump in Sordoc's throat and Sordoc's pants
And then Sordoc entered a sudden trance,
"Poor, Sordoc, Poor Sordoc, Poor Sordoc."

Now Sordoc is certain that Sordoc isn't to blame
Sordoc, Great Sordoc, Great Sordoc,
Sordoc is certain that Deklitch was just playing a game,
"With, Sordoc, with Sordoc, with Sordoc,
And Sordoc will travel across all Caelereth,
Proclaiming with each and every breath
The beauty of Paxen until there comes the death,
"Of, Sordoc, Of Sordoc, Of Sordoc."

But until that day, there is much to do
Sordoc, for Sordoc, for Sordoc,
Showing the beauty of Paxen to you,
Sordoc, oh Sordoc, oh Sordoc,
And though there are those who lack Sordoc's talent,
Sordoc will always present Sordoc's work, for Sordoc is gallant,
And Sordoc the Great is always relevant,
"Oh, Sordoc, Oh Sordoc, Oh Sordoc"
