Arti told me to make a project on the Orcal kingdom of Nybelmar, so here goes:

The Orcal:

Things needeed in the Orcal kingdom:

The kingdom entry (I am working on it)

The Orcristh orcs tribe entry

The Orcal religions entry, as well as an entry for each of the two main gods. (Reserved for myself)

Other deities in Orcal (Connected to the Uiyujappath river, perhaps other things)

Flora/Fauna in Orcal

Orcal architecture

***

Other things I missed?

Twen, dearest, would you give your old mentor the honor of your critique? Weaken Resolve is a spell that could use it.

Yes, bad wording on my part. Magic that deals with giving motion to the still, then.

Forgive my absence, all those who have been annoyed by it.

As for the question posed, IMHO yes, you can very well learn "necromancy" as you put it. Not in Ximax, of course.

The reason I put "necromancy" as that, is due to the fact that the Ximaxian system does not have a class named necromancy. Spells that deal with bringing life to the dead are spread across the various classes of fire magic. However, nothing prevents a mage to be taught by somebody somewhere about the dead and the magic of animating them and all that.

A Ximaxian would say: "You, my dear mage, have learned Fire spels of various classes and difficulties, but have not learned all the other things Fire is, and you hardly know of their existance. Fascinating..." ;)

Well, Ecua IS the breaking of bonds, so ndefinately not ecua.

1662  Santharian World Development / Magic in the Lands of Caelereth / Re: Summoning on: 11 June 2004, 08:03:00
Well, level 7 IS powerful, but that is ok... however, IMHO, a summoner can bring a being form point a to point b... which isnt very easy in santharia. What you describe is a necromancer, delaing with spirits of the dead, bones and all that.

1663  Santharian World Development / Magic in the Lands of Caelereth / Re: Teleportation on: 07 March 2004, 09:05:00
A variant of teleport can be a "mislead" spell...

Works this way- The mage creates an illusion of himself to appear at the point where he stands, while he becoems invisible for a small amount of time and can run away.

i will make this an entry when i have time.
