Hmm, I don't know which are better... the paintings or the story... Both are excellent.

't seems as if you've been pretty busy and they look good.

Have they been converted to the famous gif-format already? If you wish, I can do that for you (ofcourse, 'tis easy since the background is a single color).

I like the effect of light shining on metal.

3  Santharian World Development / Miscellaneous / Nice colors!!! on: 26 November 2000, 08:21:00
I like the face, with the white and yellow parts, creating a heat never seen before in Santharia.

Please, Artimidor, make sure he keeps high up in the sky and won't ever come down for a rest or something, for the trees would not like that.

Maybe others won't like it as well, but I'm sure the trees would run in fear..! Hmm, what you say? Don't walk..? Now you mention it, indeed, they don't walk...

7  Santharian World Development / Miscellaneous / Spinning wheel on: 17 November 2000, 04:40:00
The spinning wheel... reminds me of something...

Ah,yes, Greek mythology also something like that: 3 sisters, onecreating threads, the second spinning and the third cutting them. These are born, life and death. Wished I could recall their names...

Ofcourse, in the Ancient Greece, spinning wheelsdid not yet exist, so they did the spinning some other way :)

9  Santharian World Development / Miscellaneous / Re: Seyella after hairstyling on: 11 November 2000, 18:27:00
Well, I mailed both Artimidor and Faugar 3 'edited' variants. I hope one of them is ok, though if not, no matter :)
I had fun creating them.

Sorry, oh great king of Santharia, but the hair on the first variant I liked better. I think thou hadst a bad day when busy with thine magic experiments (please, forgive me, don't hang me for being critical! :) )

So, I prefer the first variant. I can try something with my image-editor, but can't garantee better results though... (Although chances are high, since my paint-editor has also been used to enhance the movie The Titanic)

OK, so I wanna post this morning. And EZBoard's down... Well, anyways:

Arvins: A bow (with arrows o'course) and some dead animals or set against a background of a forest.

Urtengor: A (smithing) hammer as large as himself (I guess he is somewhat stronger than the average man).

Grothar: In one hand the sun shining (and lighting her face) and in the other a dark cloud with rain.
Note, they may hover above her hand:) .

Armeros: With a war-axe (one that would make even the proudest dwarven warrior jealous;) ).

Nehtor: A bunch of herbs, which are known to cure disastrous diseases.

Eyasha: Anything but a bird (hey, let's keep things original, k?)

Queprur: A dead (burned and blackened??) tree, with broken twigs and falling leaves (as a reference to the tree of life).

I guess Artimidor welcomes any suggestions (well, he ofcourse welkoms better suggestions, but worse than these is impossible, so... ;) )

Hmmm.... Once I hitted the back-button to correct something Ityped, the whole post has been cast into the void :(

Well, I'll post my ideas first thing in the morning, for nowI don't wanna type anymore, almost 2 o'clock and I feel tired:b

14  Santharian World Development / Miscellaneous / Queprur on: 16 November 2000, 17:47:00
If I am correct, Queprur (Goddes of Death) hasn't been painted yet, right?

Anyone mind if I try my hand on her? Or is someone already busy?

15  Santharian World Development / Miscellaneous / Re: Sword on: 14 October 2000, 14:05:00
If you want a real cool sword, you could try the 'executioners blade' from the game 'Diablo I'.

I'll describe it: The sword is single-edged, engraved with runes and the back (how you call the not sharp side of a single-side-sharpened sword?) is not a straight line, but looks like flames (it's from metal ofcourse).

If you like, I'll try my hand at it (when I have time, that is).

See ya!
