Quote
The spirit of Coór errupts periodically from the depths of doom to strike Aér'aí'chán with unbelieveable force in order to turn the Dream of the High Goddess once and for all to evil,

This is a snippet directly from the Coor entry. I may be misinterpreting it. But to me Coor is corruption. And Ava being blessed. Coor seeks to corrupt the blessed which can be seen as turning the dream into a nightmare ending the dream (thus everything)

Thanks Coren. I'm just going to develop what I need for the Black Flame entry and then after I'm done with it write up an official Embertree entry.

Ok, that's what I was afraid of. And thanks Art for the help. If I get Nybelmar's guru's blessing (double possessive, it's that proper English?) I may have to create a history for it.
4  Organization and General Discussions / Discussions, Development Ideas & Proposals / Re: Embertree question on: 04 September 2013, 03:05:54
No, I'm familiar with the tree of life. It was hidden from mortal sight after an attack on it that created eternal dragons. The embetree was a tree found in Crystalwoods in Nybelmar and was the home for the Inferhim tribe. After its destruction the tribe fell and became a cult with in the Coorhem. This is the only informationiI can find on it.

Now I do plan on using the tree of life as part of their end plan but in their history I don't believe it would be feesable for them to have reached it.

(This was sent from my phone, plead over look any misplaced words)

I have looked through all relevant material I can find and cannot find specific information on the destruction of the Embertree. Ann I over looking it or is it a blank canvas.

The information is going to be used in My Black Flame entry sho any leads will be appreciated. Thanks.

Actually Coor is the embodiment of Ava on the physical plane (Ava existing in the spiritual plane) and every so often Coor manifests in an attempt to turn the dream evil and extinguish all life. This entry will perfectly fit into that mythos.

Awesome :)

And yeah it has been awhile, but you know as way leads on to way. I held Santharia for another day (little bit of Frost for ya :) ) Well life has settled and out looks like its staying that way for awhile :)

So I'll be bouncing between here and the RP boards (Isoto), I will post once I have a rough draft.

P.S. Seeker, that picture is perfect totally using it, thanks :)

Ok, so this is an idea I have been bouncing around with Rayne now for about a week.

Basically the gist is this. The Black Flame is a secret order based out of Cyrstalwoods. Their sole intent is to bring around the age of Coor and awake Ava from her slumber. After the first SW the order was founded and gifted the black flame by Coor.

The flame is a tool use to judge potential members on their pure devotion to Coor. The flame feeds off the darkness in their hearts.

Still hammering out the details but that it's the quick run down on the entry. I will be describing the orders history, rituals, structure etc.

Just wanted to grab a few more knowledgeable opinions on the entry.

Thanks for your times and its great to be back.

I agree with Arti, although I wish we were all able to come together and talk about our differences and the stereotypes we all have in a mature, understanding setting.Without anyone's feelings getting hurt.(That's the philosopher in me) But unfortunately politics can be a hot button for alot of people and people can get quite passionate about their country and/or beliefs. So (IMHO) its better to not try and rock the boat.

Hello Ms. Talia,

I dont have time right now to fully address all your comments because Im at work, but I will cover it once I get home. I just wanted to try an clarify a few of your comments. But if you are still unsatified I will be more than pleased to change them.

Ok dealing with this part of my entry

Quote
Reproduction: The Valanániás Kál is barren half of the year and fruitful the other half. It seems to work off a linear (Time) cycle rather than a seasonal one.

The tree works on an internal clock rather than one that is climate based.

EX. Some trees, even though it is mid winter, will bloom if the weather gets warm enough. These trees run off a seasonal clock. They are directly effected by the tempatures around them. If it is warm, they bloom and if it is cold, they wither.

My tree works of a time based clock, meaning even if it is no warm weather (signifying spring and summer) it will still begin to bud and grow. You will find this in trees that grow in colder or more tropical climates that dont get the luxury of weather changing with season.

Secondly,

Quote
Which is beneficial for the Valanániás Kál that grow in areas, such as the Northern Wastelands, that experience little to no season change. During the third and fourth quarters of the month the Valanániás Kál bears no fruit at all but towards the end of the fourth and beginning of the first quarter of the year the tree will begin to grow tiny green lumps on the under side of the limbs. These lumps, through the short course of two weeks will grow and ripen into the Valanániás Kál fruit. These fruits will remain ripe until they fall off during the third quarter.

You mentioned them growing in frost, Im not too sure what the seasons are liek in Gremany but in Tennessee (which is considered a temperate climate, much like central Sarvonia, I assume) during the end of the fourth quarter, winter, it begins to become warm enough for trees to start flowering.

And as far as the trees that grow in colder climates, why could they not fruit in winter climates. Just because there is nothing terrestrial that can do it doesnt mean Cealereth can't have one either. Our term of "realistic" comes from what we precieive in our own world, but this is a site to push realism into the realm of fantasy.  I mentioned a waxy coating that covers the tree and fruit and protects it from climate change. So Im not trying to change the laws of physics, I will be more than glad to explain further why I can do that. But I am rather set on having it grow in cloder climates. (Perhaps I need a special abilities section.)

Ok Talia, thank you for your time. I hope these answers were suffice. As I said earlier I will jump on the rest of this as soon as I can.

Thanks

~Navar~

Lol people are stupid, oh and I thought you all might find this interesting. This site shows what Santharia has looked like through out its history. From its founding to present. I thought it was neat. Click Here . I wonder if this will take Arti back?  :)

Ok I believe I have finished the territory (crosses fingers  ;))

and as for a reason for springing up in the sacred forest of Thaelon, I believe my myth will explain that (hopefully).
