You see too limiting at it.
You can manipulate the car'áll of everything so you can also interact with your environment to strengthen or weaken the Earth element in something.

Also you look too scientific at Earth. It's strong, it's lasting, it doesn't bend, it does not change, so in my eyes a stoneoak would be seen as something with lots of Earth element in its car'áll and thus interaction with it would be easier.
Also Earth aspects in human beings would be the bones, the teeth and anything else firm maybe even the skin could be hardened...

Not Life influences elements but elements influence life. Otherwise you couldn't define Orcs as the race of fire. They're that because the aspect of fire seems to be predominant in them.

Ok, now it seems like there is a bit of nature in all Elements. Yes, the oak has a cár'áll more Earth-like. However, an alga or some other such water plant might be more related to water than to Earth. Air plants that live high on cliffs and depend upon the wind to bring them nutrients might have a more wind-like cár'áll. Plants containing poison would be more related to fire..

So now we have nature all over the place. I don't think we should classify the whole of nature into Earth, but rather spread it around in other elements as well.

Well, it would be more the way the plants 'feel' like. Algae might be more waterlike but most bushes and trees would've hard wood, etc. so would be recognized to have strong Earth car'áll.

Also wasn't for totally including nature into Earth but recognizing possibilities Earth might influence Nature as any other element can do it as well.

All the elements effect all the other elements. Some woody things might not be earth. What about palm trees? I would think they would have a more wind-like cár'áll. They're not like the sturdy oak. They bend under the wind.

Eh, Car'áll of a stone is not Earth but a balance of the elements in which Earth is dominating. All elements can exist in one object, but often one or two elements are stronger than others so you could(in theory) work Earth magic on dirty water but a water mage could do stronger and easier magic with it so it is unlikelöy an Earth mage would bother to try it.

So, theoretically, we could say that lightning, though is contains all the elements, is more easily manipulated by wind and fire. However, because the wind and fire are equal, niether the Wind nor the Fire Magi have a very good control on it..

Lightning also seems like fire because it's so unpredictable. Fire encompasses chaos, doesn't it?

Sorry. I'm integrating discussions.. ^_^''
