Yeah, was an earth spell before I changed it to Xeuá, so it might seem a bit... elemental (and much less complete).  


Seal (Level 1)

Spell Effect
The seal spell is used to lock a certain object, so that it may not be opened. The caster creates a link between the item, and the area around it (A door and door jam for example) and stretches them to fit into eachother. This spell may not be used on living things. Seal can be used also to permanantly attach an object to another as well.

Casting Procedure

The casting procedure for this spell is fairly simple. The caster must hold out his dominant hand, with his palm facing the object to be sealed. The other hand is used to hold reagents which may increase the overall strength of the seal. The caster concentrates on focusing his cár'áll around the object, then stretching the form of the objects to fit eachother. He will then speak the formula. If, the spell is successful, the item will not be able to open, or move at all, without the exertion of some amount of force.

Target

A single object that can be locked, shut, closed or otherwise "sealed". This includes small objects such as jars and flasks as well. Also, any item can be magically attached to another with this spell.

The more experienced the mage, the further the spell can reach.

Level 1
1 - 2 palmspans

Level 2
2 palmspans - 1.5 fore

Level 3  
1.5 fore - 2 peds

Level 4
2 peds - 5 peds

Level 5-6
5 peds - 30 peds

Level 7-8
30 peds - 1 dash

Level 9 & up
1 dash - one Furlay

Casting time
Depends on the size of the object. If the mage has not enough energy to complete the bonds and stretching, the spell will not work.

Duration

The duration of the spell is indefinite. The caster, may at will disconnect the bonds, by simply releasing them, but must recast the spell if he wants the item sealed again.

Counter Measures/Enhancing Measures

A seal can be broken by physical strength. If the spell was cast by a low level mage, the seal would probably be able to be broken by very little force. Higher level spells may require magic to break. An Ecuá mage can also break the bonds holding the two object's together...
